Mazda MX-5 review - What Car?

The Mazda MX-5 is light, nimble and great fun to drive. It's also relatively cheap to buy and economical to run.
The only downsides are that you have to rev the 1.5-litre engine hard for it to give good performance and the boot is on the small side, too.
Having said that, the Mazda MX-5 is a terrific two-seat roadster. It’s thoroughly recommended.

The 1.5L engine is the sweeter engine, far more vocal and exciting than the 2L
Its no coincidence that Mazda developed the MD around the 1.5 engine, its suits the whole character of liteweight tiny roadster.
An MX5 is not about outright performance, its about driving pleasure and handling, and the 1.5 offers that in bucket loads.
