@@gillescoin2374 I fell instantly in love with 'Horizon'. The Song was introduced, when 'buying' an Aldous Harding record in Amoeba's 'What's in my bag?'. I do heavily like 'Designer', 'Zoo Eyes', 'No Peace at all' (which is absolutely brilliant), and all her KEXP live performances 😊.

This is the most beautiful song I've heard in a long time. It perfectly captures vulnerability and honesty and the complexity of these lives we live and relationships we navigate. I hope if somehow Aldous ever reads these comments she knows how much that honesty is appreciated and how badass her music is!!

"I do not have the answer." When Miss Harding sings that specific line with sudden, unexpected, bewitching and truly eerie grace, the hairs on the back of my neck prickle while my eyes begin to well up. Convention has been twisted out of shape. An achingly beautiful narrative upon jaded melancholic reflection.
THANK YOU 4AD for being a steady reliable rock of a label with so many of my favorite artists for the last 35 years of my life.

I believe Ivo would have approved of this 4AD signing. When I come across an act like this I almost cry. In the 80’s and 90’s I knew I could buy anything on 4AD, and not be disappointed. Since Ivo left; not so much.
Aldous, The National, The Breeders (yes!), Scott Walker, big thief, pixx, Velvet Negroni (the new AR Kane?) and, maybe, Grimes are the true heirs of the great 4AD past, specially The National, Big Thief and Aldous Harding. There is a lot trash on 4AD these days (us girls, turn yards, liima, etc). I really don't know what to think about Holly Herndon (an oddity, that's for sure). 4AD is really big today. Almost all of its releases goes to UK official charts (and, sometimes, us charts). 4AD and Matador and XL are under the same umbrella today (Beggar's Group). So, in practical terms, Adele, underground American acts and Aldous Harding are all in the same boat. A rich one. 4AD is now a very lucrative business. The days of the artsy fartsy (like Robin Guthrie from Cocteau Twins said a certain time) are definitely in the past. We don't have Factory and Creation anymore. And BMG is considered indie in UK. VERY different times, anyway...
I am loving his trinity of youth, poetry, and sound. It fits like warm glove ... as does the company he keeps.

One of my favorite albums for 2017 and I love the vocal range in different parts of the song.
Has this woman ever done any film/TV acting? She seems to have the right instincts and is comfortable showing subtle emotion with a camera on her. I could see her going the Charlotte Gainsbourg route and being brilliant in both music and film.
