I currently play on the xbox 1 but from knowledge from videos like this i would think that a pre build one would be the safer option but i personally could not buy a pre build cause i would enjoy the experience of building it more than playing games on it
Yeah man i still prefer prebuilt too tbh! Haha but it’s really just based on if you have the patience for something like building a pc :)
The budget could've been spent a little bit better, but at the end of the day, it's your pc; what matters is if you had fun building it and enjoyed the end product.

Tip: when building the pc put it into pc part picker so there are no incompatibilities
Also, the 3050 is $200 but the 6600 is also $200 and way better performance wise, also there are an insane amount of 1tb gen 3/4 ssds at $60
Plus, an AIO is not needed at all for something like a 5 5600 since that's not gonna be overheating like crazy. You could've done much much better with $100, infact, you could build a brand new $600 pc that performs better than this

The PC building was quite good, but I feel like the parts were not good at all.
For a $1000 budget, you should at least get a i5-13400f or a ryzen 5 7600, and pair it with a rx 7700xt or a 4060 ti. DDR5 ram is definitely the way to go for the budget.
But the aesthetics of the pc was quite nice, but I think for a $1000 budget you definitely overspent on the case and the 10 rgb fans. but overall it's not a terrible build at all.

Great video, but I do agree that your GPU should be the most expensive part as for gaming it is the most important. If you do this again I recommend setting a budget and working it around your GPUs price

A great video man loved the editing style. Many mistakes tho, with 1000 USD you should be gaining a lot more FPS, ddr5 and am5 CPU. I think that the pc looks amazing however I think too much money was spent on aesthetics and not performance. The GPU is not a good choice with that budget.

The PC Components you picked were nice.
For the GPU tho, You could've gone with an RTX 3060 *if you had an extra 100 Dollars* but the RTX 3050 ain't that bad. You picked it up for 200$ soo yea, not a bad price. You even picked up the GPU at the right time cus from what I see here, the GTX 1660 (New) is a bit more priced than the RTX 3050 (New) u picked up sooo you got lucky!
And the reason why people didn't like the GPU choice u made is because the RTX 3050 is basically a GTX 1660 but with Ray tracing and DLSS, the RTX 3050 is newer so u get more driver support so It's fine lmao, But yea Enjoy ur PC man! You can upgrade the GPU and SSD later in the future, but for now, you're good! Enjoy ur fine PC!
I even recently upgraded from a GTX 1050 2GB to an RTX 3050 8GB (If I went for an RTX 3060 it would've bottlenecked my Ryzen 5 2600 soo yea, I got the RTX 3050 8GB for a decent deal tho) and I'm very happy with my GPU Purchase :D

A 3050 for a 1k build is wild 💀. What you should've done instead is:
1: No AIO needed. For my first pc build I used the R5 5600x and the box cooler was more than enough for it. And if you really wanted an AIO for aesthetics then you could've gotten it later on down the line.
2: 3050 graphics card gets majorly outperformed by the 6600 which you can often find onsale for under $200 and performs the same. Even then though, a 6600 for a 1k PC is crazy. When building a pc your graphics card should be at least half your budget (there are a few exceptions)
3: When you're building a pc you should always focus on performance and then aesthetics (when under 1k budget) because it will be cheap to upgrade a $100 case down the line or $15 fans but to upgrade an important part that you should've had from the start (that horrendous rtx 3050) you will be spending a lot more.
Processor (CPU): Intel Core i9 or AMD Ryzen 9 series for top-tier performance.
Graphics Card (GPU): NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 series or AMD Radeon RX 6000 series for excellent gaming and content creation performance.
Memory (RAM): 32GB or more for multitasking and heavy applications.
Storage: A combination of SSD (for fast boot times and application loading) and HDD (for mass storage). Aim for at least a 1TB SSD and a 2TB HDD.
Motherboard: Choose a motherboard that supports the CPU and has the features you need, such as multiple PCIe slots, USB ports, and M.2 slots.
Power Supply (PSU): A high-quality PSU with enough wattage to power all your components comfortably. Aim for at least 750 watts for high-end builds.
Cooling: Invest in a good CPU cooler and case fans for efficient cooling, especially if you're overclocking.
Case: Choose a case that provides good airflow and accommodates all your components.

You spend your money on the wrong things. For a $1000 PC you want your budget to look a little something like this:
Best GPU you can get for $300 (RTX 3080 Used)
Best CPU you can get for $150 (R7 7600X Used)
Best RAM you can get for $50 (2x8GB DDR5-6000 CL30)
Best SSD you can get for $50 (1TB PCIe 4.0 M.2 SSD)
Best Motherboard you can get for $200 (B650)
Best CPU Cooler you can get for $50
Best Case you can get for $50
Best PSU you can get for $100 (750W)
For any PC build really, you want the GPU to be the most expensive item.

You should probably install drivers, and update the BIOS. It will make the pc run faster. Make sure to do this annually. Also, this is the first video of yours i have watched, and I really enjoyed it! Keep up the work man!

Hey Chandler, I know this is ur first time building a pc, and I get that u were probably looking for aesthetics over price to performance. But, you made one error, which was the 3050. Even though it had a discount, the AMD rx 6600 is the same price as the discounted 3050 but has better performance.

I just built a r7 7700x with a 7800xt gpu, 650 motherboard with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 32g ddr5, crucial 2tb ssd, 850 watt gold psu deep cool cooler and deep cool case, was $1200 but $1300 with taxes. I’m so glad micro center is a 2 hour drive for me as I could spend way too much money in there.
