I wish they would have added some of these to game such as the wine/grape items and star frag trees because it makes islands look BETTER! OH and the black sand on beach 🙌🏻
They could add grapes only (since there’s already a grape basket and a plate of grapes in the game.) But they can’t add in alcohol because the game is supposed to be rated E. Alcohol would lead the game to get a higher rating.

I doubt the existence of wine would do that, but Japanese games do seem to be especially delicate about that kind of thing. I'm reminded of how in Apollo Justice the tutorial case conspicuously has "grape juice" served in wine bottles in a bar. And that games rated a 16 (presumably for all the talk of murders) so I really really doubt mentioning alcohol would have pushed it any higher.

the mod that turns the fish into different colours actually help a lot
it colour's the fish based on their rarity (ex. blue: rare, pink/purple: epic)

The Infinite Tool Durability and Increase Resource Stack mods would absolutely change my life for the better. That last mod tho is pretty rad 👀👀 Not sure if this video convinced me I should try mods for the first time or never touch them 😂
Having just recently gotten into game modding on my modded switch, seeing this makes me so infinitely happy
You being a professional speed runner and only having done it one time makes it all the more impressive
speaking as the author of the new mystery island plus mod I can say that it isn't exactly the same as the original because I choose to just even out the probability of the islands but I did add some islands that didn't exist in the original as it looks like Nintendo added more islands around when the island designer dlc was released but choose to keep them disabled so all in all it has about 4-6 new islands on top of what the original mystery island plus mod already added.
PS the islands are labelled as numbers internally so I can't actually say if the newly added islands are something special or just additional variations and layouts of the standard islands... Either way though the rare flower island and such make it worthwhile anyways.
Niko kind of resembles the Cult of the Lamb protagonist and that makes it very funny that you're letting him manage the island

Tip to deal with those dangerous critters...Don't carry a net around. Like if you have no net in your inventory at all, they will not attack.

lief will never weed ur island. it’s a sort of bug. ur island physically can’t have enough weeds to qualify for the weeding service.
You can only do the weeding service if you started a new island and haven't picked up weeds. It's so weird
I know it's super late to add this, but the reason you weren't seeing fish and bugs appear on day 12 is because you were quite likely under the catch limit for each to unlock the rarer ones, thus stopping most bugs/fish from spawning.
Also, that font mod is extremely cursed
Have you ever considered doing videos on other animal crossing games? It might be difficult to make a video on new leaf since 3ds capture cards are expensive but maybe one of the other games would be fun
maybe youve already heard this and decided against it, but one thing ive seen other youtubers do for nintendo modded content is to unlist the video in japan. they seem to police that kind of content a lot less if its not even available in the country, since their copyright laws are a lot more strict over there. i know this cuz im currently living in japan and have to use a vpn to watch some videos. they seem to stay up for longer tho! just what ive heard

I’m honestly fine with tool durability but certain tools just should not have durability. Like all of the golden tools Imo should be that reward of having no durability and watering cans having durability is silly to me.
