IIRC, some of the villagers were designed by fans. I think Pietro (clown sheep), the burger/fries sheep, and the mouse with a bow instead of ears, were designed by children who play the games.

These all look so fricking cute! 🖤🖤 My only gripe is the black outline of the octo village's eyes, it's really intense. Maybe a medium brown would've worked a little better? 🤔
Well, all of the actual improvements implemented in HHD, the NL update and NH were fan ideas. They're completely creatively bankrupt, so they really have no other choice than to implement fan suggestions if they do anything other than just adding bad stuff like DRM and mobile game features. They were getting screamed at for like a decade to add cooking and spontaneous in-person gift giving and it only got louder over the years, esp during NL. So I hope that gives you some... hope.

She wears the in game “ballet outfit” in black to stand out from her white color, but white makes more sense tbh. Her name is Odette and she is based off of swan lake!! 💞

I think brown for the eye outlines of the jellyfish would compliment the colour scheme a bit more But still these all turned out great i love doodle and martha so much

Yeah, i think with a little editing around the face it could turn out really cool, and I’m always a fan of octopus villagers!
Maybe even a darker orange, that would blend in better than black or brown
