Varies massively depending on region unfortunately, many in the UK will charge upwards of £50 (about 60 USD). We're able to decode these very same codes for just £4.99 (about $5 USD), and all we require is the serial number from the back. This is the cheapest you'll find these codes for anywhere, but unfortunately our other comment linking to our BMW decoder page was taken down by this channel because they don't seem to be interested in helping car owners, just recommending the more expensive app - maybe they're being paid for it. Either way our BMW service can be found by searching Google for "Rapid Radio Codes BMW".
I went to the dealership and they couldn't provide me with the code. I found a code in the owners manual, and tried that, but it doesn't cut the radio on. Any suggestions? I have radio serial number, I just need the proper code.
And lo as the sun shone down from high in the year Trump apocalypse plus 20, we were still waiting, but now no one drives cars with combustion engines, ha ha.
Thanks Mudher, this worked great! A nice trick saved me a lot of time. Thanks again.
Isn’t the battery going to die when you leave it on for that long ?

Are you smoking a cigarette? That's not very smart. And in your car? That's dirty and stupid.
Does the car need to be on for 90 minutes?
Not the engine just the key on just the dash :)

Does anyone know if disconnecting radio or the battery will skip the process of waiting?
No that won’t help you have to keep power on and the wait time is about an hour after you enter the code
