Copilot is meant for developers. So, it's there for getting as much info off that laptop it can. Also, features, increased telemetry additions can be added on at will. Not the same as reprogramming the chip. But, utilizing the power of it for additions.
I'd like to see comparison of some x86 apps running on latest Intel laptop CPUs vs on Snapdragon. How good is the translation layer? Because many Windows apps are not getting an ARM port any time soon: it's not like anyone can drive the transition to ARM like Apple were able to do. Windows ARM will still be niche in 2 years, plenty of consumers and business customers will still be playing safe and buying Intel/AMD. I guess you the only one who pointed out the issue(Thank you) with big trackpad and uncomfort it brings for typing due to its size. Thats my concern ever since I saw this huge trackpad in 4series galaxy laptops
I don't mind the large trackpad, but I am not keen on the diving board design and would a prefer a haptic feedback version. I wish Samsung would produce a 360-model with stylus support and face logon camera. I would go with the 16-inch 1 TB model to get the Snapdragon X Elite with the higher performance GPU. Qualcomm need to significantly improve GPU performance in the next gen X Elite processors and include support for ray tracing.
NUM pad sucks because it skews the keyboard to the left. Why can't manufacturers just keep the main keyboard centered like MBP, but add one vertical key column on each side? That will be 10 customisable keys that you can assign to anything you need.
Premiere Pro isn't supported (won't install), and Blender runs VERY slowly. I will try to make a video about this in a few weeks, but currently it's a bit of a messy situation

I need the GPU performance to go up significantly. While I have a gaming PC at home. I need my laptop to be able to handle some light gaming as well. I recently got an intel Ultra 7 instead of SD X Elite because that has a better GPU but I really think ARM laptops are the future so hoping the next Gen has much better GPUs so I can jump ship next year.
Thx for the video, how would you compare the OLED display to the ASUS G16 2024? I noticed that the Samsung screen is 8-bit and I believe the ASUS G16 is a 10-bit display.
@sugarbait That is because Apple does the trackpad right. There has to be the right size ratio based on the size of the laptop. Plus since this trackpad is off-center it makes the trackpad look way worse being larger.
I spent a decent amount on Galaxy book 3 ultra, the super slim display got a hairline crack out of no where. It happened on a day when it was placed on a table. Yesterday, one of the type C port stopped working. No doubt battery life is decent but it's not what they promise on paper. Don't go for it if you don't store money in jute bags.
I HATE touchpads that aren't centralised! It's just so aesthetically displeasing to look at. All for the sake of adding a num pad which only 0.1% of users actually need......
I don't know about anyone else, but I don't need my laptop to be as thick as a USB A slot. I'd happily trade a little for some rigidity/power, while remaining mostly slim.
It's annoying Samsung is keeping their Quick Share app for their Samsung ARM PCs only but for Intel PCs there's a version of Quick Share on the Windows Store for any Intel PC, not just Samsung's Intel PCs 🤔
i have the gbp360*1/13.3/pink. I would go the same design or a 12.5 with an arm. for that battery life . and because i kind of steer away from tablets over 10.5" (prefering the 8").... but then again i would prefer a squarer aspect phone 5.8" 4:3 for bigger buttons also 😅. everything else is on my desktop (which I'm slowly trying to shrink, and water cool(maybe))

Excelente video Arturo, seguimos vientdo los módulos y demás videos
Is it upgradable?
Could you make a video on how these snapdragon processors performs while using video and photo editing software, blender and other stuffs .
Premiere Pro isn't supported (won't install), and Blender runs VERY slowly. I will try to make a video about this in a few weeks, but currently it's a bit of a messy situation
@@Thetechchap Okay ,will be waiting.
Great review! Although The 14" and 16" do not have the same specs (different Snapdragon chip).
10:04 Thanks for telling not to buy 😂 i know those are minimal use , but me hard gamer's , I don't buy it ❤❤❤❤ i go for Intel u series or Amd chipset... , That more fps for Gaming ❤
Will u test the 14 inch model?
Helpful review. BTW, Please compare Intel 7 ultra powered Galaxy Book 4 pro with this Snapdragon powered Galaxy book Edge.
Edit: 7ulta, not i7.
7 ultra
@@leohart88 ya sorry, my mistake, not i7. It should be core 7ultra. As a habit I said i7.
the main advantage is battery life U7 only last for ~4.5hrs but thr Xe can last for 9+hrs
32GB RAM or replaceable RAM and I would have bought it. Went for the smaller Yoga Slim 7x instead :')
I am planning to buy this. Is this good for coding and stuff ?
Really hoping we see a Surface Laptop Go running the SD Elite Plus. We now need mid range laptops because a grand is to much for s tonne of people.
Or with the X Plus - yes!!
So, will the "Recall" feature come or not?
It will, but in a few weeks/months
Thx for the video, how would you compare the OLED display to the ASUS G16 2024? I noticed that the Samsung screen is 8-bit and I believe the ASUS G16 is a 10-bit display.
We bought a laptop from Lenovo and not happy with it's performance since the lack of media centric approach. So we will definitely give second thought
Windows on ARM is becoming popular.
I swear all you people loved the Mac books large track pad, now no one likes large track pads lol.
@sugarbait That is because Apple does the trackpad right. There has to be the right size ratio based on the size of the laptop. Plus since this trackpad is off-center it makes the trackpad look way worse being larger.
Track pad is nice. My problem is the keyboard has a numeric pad. It throws my typing off. Going to exchange it for the 14"
I dunno, the screen wobble looks kinda bad for me.
Yes! It's incredibly annoying
They both look good ...but I would go for the extra 2 inches every time 😅
What about compatibility? I was unable to run a java program with mine. Can we expect thoese problems to be solved within weeks?
What version of Java?
I really need a 4G/5G modem on my laptop. Is there any way to unlock the modem on the snapdragon cpus?
i have the gbp360*1/13.3/pink.
They definitely tried to pull an apple on that trackpad, and it being off centered is honestly worse than the size of it.
Please compare this amoled gorilla screen with other oled matte and glossy screens (like galaxy book 4 vs matte lg g16 vs glossy gram or zenbook) in games
(I am interested amoled will be better looking or not)
I can't understand why a qualcomm chip would even need a fan. No tablet, phone or previous qualcomm laptops needed one. I'm on one that rarely gets hot.
am going to start doing creative media in collage soon do you think this will do
Thank you.
That touchpad looks obnoxious.
I currently have an HP laptop, which is struggling, but I also have a Samsung phone, watch, and earbuds. Two of my adult kids have iOS everything because it integrates, so I thought, why not integrate my future laptop? I'm looking seriously at a Samsung laptop. I think you've convinced me to look at the 14" model.
Likiing the look of the Asus Zenbook S16 BUT as you said will be waiting to see how things pan out.
I actually love the mouse pad. I think it's funny that folks complain about clicking, when I almost never actually click anymore. Taps and gestures are way better and Samsungs is super responsive
@Thetechchap Trust me, HUGE touchpad problems are worth it because sometimes you need a runway to navigate your spreadsheet. It's a lot better than complaining about a small touchpad: like asking who needs precision when you can play ‘Where’s Waldo’ with your cursor?
preordered the 16 inch one for 1.200€. apparently the device only releases mid september in germany so thats that
Over reacting or not, i love the honesty, makes me believe your other reviews are legit
Interested in the comparison of Book4 Edge with the Book4 Pro Models with Intel Core U7
Who else is here after the $150 price mistake 😅
we need a pixel book?is the end of the cromebooks?the 00 chip version of bthe X elite is for phones?
nope! , its the most powerful of the x elites, its currently only available in the snapdragon dev kit, you can call it the m3 max of the x elite
I enjoyed your review of the latest Samsung trackpad with attached laptop.
Is this good for gaming?
this or the x1 carbon gen 12?
The battery life is great! I wanted a lightweight windows laptop, and this hit the mark.
I liked you video but I want to buy a 14 inch galaxy book with x elite and it is available for $900. I think it is a very good deal on bestbuy. Please tell how would it go.
Hey i have a question about monitors if you could help me out real quick?
Sure!
@@Thetechchap Okay so i bought a monitor but i dont know how to access windows on it and web browser? do i need a pc for it or a laptop to connect it and have windows on my monitor?
very good flagship device for the business person on the go or creators in the mix creating content for viewers all around the world. My question that I have not dived into is its full compatibility with the windows eco system is to question but knowing windows they would-ed licence and per-mote if it was not fully capable.
Does anyone know Galaxy Edge 4 14" thickness 10.9mm in front side or whole side? I want to know real size (thicknest /rear side), thanks.
