Kelly was right in what she was saying before she, as usual, was talked over. Van Gaal and Mourinho are managerial legends but were barely even considered modern at the time they took over United. They still won trophies through their managerial experience and the quality of the players but ultimately they were on a shot clock in terms of staying in the job. So it's not that United shouldn't hire experience, it's that United should hire an EXPERIENCED MODERN manager who has proven he can deliver.

Ole finished second because the other clubs messed up. The moment other clubs step up shows Oles level, which is where United are now. The players are or must be questioning Ole. Correct. However Jose did get what he wanted, he makes it out like he didn't buy. He brang in Lukaku (who just came off a 20 EPL season), Pogba from Juve and a red hot Sanchez from arsenal. Also he wanted a cb and signed bailey. Jose's problem was he lost the players (as he eventually always does) and once U lose the dressing room, it's over.
