They like to talk up the Ole's rebuild process as some massive overhaul project that needs 3 years, and now pushing the goalpost back to 4 years. This is Ole's third full season. He still starts the same 6 from Jose's squad. (Rashford, Pogba, Shaw, DeGea, Mctominay, Fred.) He didn't need to/ didn't want to change much of the line up. In Klopp's 3rd full season, he only had Henderson and Firnino left in his starting 11 that were from the previous squad. Klopp got 97 points with only 1 loss in that season. Ole has already lost 3 games before November. I wonder how can anyone even think Ole would win the league by his 4th year like Klopp did. Downright delusional.

I don;t think Ole should stay as manager but the real question is who do you bring in ? I agree Conte is not a fit from ManU - even though he is a good manager. Zidanne would be - but he has openly stated he has no interest in coaching ManU or in the EPL. So who does that leave to bring in at the moment ? Its not so much that you should keep Ole - its that you should only sack him mid season if you actually have a great manager who fits ManU to bring in. Conte playes with 3 CBs... Our CBs aren't made to play as 3 CBs system. His wing backs are very good at going forward ( Shaw &AWB aren't the ones). He plays with 2 CMs but we don't have 2 good CMs who can defend and attack. Pogba or Fernandes will go out of the frame as none of them can play in 2 CM system. I could picture Van Gaal absolutely killing it with this team. We were dreadfully boring under him but our team was a mix of players way past their prime and too young.

The only problem with Conte is that he won't manage man utd in the man utd way and he would probably take in some players that are quite average but works in his system but as soon as he gets sacked you are gonna have quite a hard time getting rid of those players. @@S4MB0 united fan mate
@@CB-ft8zw he does sometimes but he’s like Neville always backing ole
We all need a supportive friend like Neville
Neville: "Mourinho was best manager in the world, when he came to Man United, and he didnt do it here"
Mourinho 2,5 years at Man United: won the Europa League, Community Shield & League Cup!
Ole 2,5 year at Man United: Ole at he Wheel, Tell me how good does it feel, We've got Sancho and Pogba and Fred, Marcus Rashford he's manc born and bred, Duh du, du du du du du
Mourinho was a far better and more successful manger at man united than ole so I don’t get the hate towards Jose when man united fans who back ole call Jose a flop
Its cause they already hated him before he got the job that hate did not desapear while he had it plus you had the media feeding them negativity they knew that would sell them papers so they went heavy on it stirred all types of controversy even where there wasn't one and united fans swallowed it and kept repeating it like a broken record
@@footballexplorer2438 so silly because he won them trophies and got second with a terrible united team
Emphasis on the 2nd place last season is so pathetic. Come on Gary, Liverpool was torn apart with injuries and Chelsea was badly coached. I hate arguments like that, they bring nothing to the club except postponement of the inevitable.
And to add to that, games were played without fans. These players can't handle the pressure when there are fans in the ground.
Honestly cant believe a Liverpool's pundit is giving better advice
This is why fan content has been growing in popularity.. The hypocrisy Gary manifest is another level
I would hope that’s not true bc fan content is responsible for the absolute worst football takes I’ve ever seen. Stuff that makes Gary Neville look like SAF. And that’s saying something.
Painful to hear Gary still backs Ole. Completely agree with Carragher.
"Finished second" is the most deluded band-aid to put on the wound. It was a training session of a season without crowd, Liverpool played without a defense, and United still finished with just 74 points. Jose finished almost 10 points higher than him, and they all were comfortable to call for his sacking.
Get rid and stop the rot. Only joking, give him a ten year contract, love, all football fans x
So much for winning trophies then 😂
Conte would do wonders for this club, and I don’t think anyone can disagree that conte would definitely improve this team if he was hired tomorrow.
I’m a Liverpool fan, whilst I enjoyed the win yesterday it wasn’t the same. Liverpool have got back to their best and I hope Man United can bring in a manager who will do the same! Be good to have them big rivalry matches back
As long as I agree with Carra, I love Gary's idea of Ole staying because I'm a Liverpool fan 😂
I think anyone who doesn't support United agrees
carra has absolutely hit the nail on the head. ole has done as much as he is capable of which was building a solid team. he tactically is not able to reach the level of klopp, pep, tuchel.
He can reach there but right now he is a million miles away
Thing is ole has done good if he had the team he started with but he’s got arguably the best individual player team after PSG which means there are no excuses for this bad streak
Look, I'm a Chelsea Fan and I might have a bit of a bias here, but I absolutely do not get the hate/underrating of Conte. His first season with us was absolutely entertaining and he won us the league. The wheels came off in the second season because our signings (Bakayoko and Morata) didn't work out and he clashed with the board. Is he perfect? No. He's got a questionable record of Youth development and he clashes with the boards, but if he has the right pieces, he'd terrorize the league. He brought back Juve to the top, took an absolutely unfancied Italy team and beat peak-Spain and then presided over Inter knocking off a Juve team that he had a hand in developing.
I'd absolutely hate it if he went to Utd, but he'd probably be what they need - someone who gets them to play like a team...
Yeah that was definitely not peak-Spain lmao. But you are right in a sense that he managed to go far with arguably the worst Italian squad of all time.
He’s also replacing the worst manager in prem history so the players will instantly become 50% better
@@akulahirpada1993 just double checked the lineups and you're right- it wasn't peak Spain - my bad, lol. For some reason, I thought Xavi played that game... But on paper at least, that Spain team should have swept Italy aside, except Conte set his team up to beat Spain...
@@footballequalslife7452 I dunno about "worst manager" and all - I'll give Ole some credit because the dressing room was apparently toxic towards the end of Mourinho's reign and he might have made it a more positive workplace.
Isn't his big game record decent as well? He usually turns up against the big teams but has trouble setting them to win against the other teams right?
@@fortphoenix yh but it’s not Manchester improvement fc you don’t get credit for improving the dressing room.
He’s a stepping stone. I’m just being honest If I was ranking managers Ole would be second bottom behind Norwich manager and that’s based on how the teams play and how much the manager gets from what he has
Gary is loyal to Ole..
But a traitor to our club's standards and history.
That results today is Unforgivable
Traitor? Great supporter you are.
Carra: Ole must go
United fans: YES!!!! 100%
Gary: Ole must stay
Liverpool fans: YES!!!! 100%
NEVILLE IS SO BIASED ITS ACTUALLY HILARIOUS AT THIS POINT 😂
As a United fan, Thank you Jamie for your open honesty. Gary is a disgrace keep defending his mate
In fairness to carragher he is honest about any club even Liverpool. Neville is showing his ridiculous bias and is really undermining any credibility he had
@@andypandy4607 yes Gary Neville has always been appreciated by rival fans for his punditry even though we hate him as a player however his Man utd bias is ridiculous. He really can't see past his own team.
@@andypandy4607 Spot on mate
It’s easy to see why Gary got sacked as a manager now 😂😂
💯😂
Gary Neville is incredibly deluded
If memory serves me correctly I think he played with OGS
Na, he's performing incredible mental gymnastics to protect a mate. I don't doubt he's fully aware that Ole is out his depth but he actively tries to frame it in a positive light.
I don't think he was positive here at all. And he never said here that Ole should stay. He said i don't think utd will sack him.
couldnt even make it at cardiff, he was never a great player he was a substitute. It's not like he's Zidane and has massive admiration from his players.
He's nowhere close to a Klopp or Tuchel
@@AddictedGamerFIFA He must've foreseen a conflicting circumstance like this happening when he started as a pundit?
Carragher was on point when he basically said 'What's wrong with saying players have to go, so why can't we say the same for Ole?'
Because his Gary's mate terrible punditry lost all respect for him.
Neville: “United fans who love this club would not want ole to be sacked”
United fans:
Listen, Man United might not thank me but get the contract out, put it on the table. Let him sign it. Let him write whatever numbers he wants to put on there, given what he's done since he's come in. Ole's at the wheel, man. He's doing it. He's doing his thing. Man United are BACK.
Yeah trust the proces
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Cool story bro.
Carragher and Souness are just laughing in their heads rn. 😂
Ole learnt how to manage under SAF, the game has moved on a hell of a lot since those days, I don't think SAF would actually do well in todays modern game. The closest comparison you can make is when United played Pep's Barca, even SAF described it as "like being on a carousel" now, most top teams play with this high-pressing possession based style, and Ole's outdated tactics just can't cut it in todays modern game. How do you expect to do well against a team who presses from the front, when your forwards let defenders play out from the back? Ole's stuck in the past, it's not the 90's anymore mate, the game has changed
Ole is the future ! There so close he's so close to achieving what he set out to ! Just keep him at the wheel it's the best thing to ever happen to the club ✌
Hopefully they get a nice M.O.T service at spurs next week who are just as bad and keep ole at the wheel 😁😁 more to come boys lol
Lowkey liverpool fan? 🤣
Been masking over the cracks for months . Tactics are non existent
