I grew up in 70's loving the Bee Gee's because I grew up in a family of musicians and singers knowing just how difficult it is to sing at this level. Their harmonies are incredible, and I have yet, to hear anyone or group with their level of ability. Sadly, Barry is the only Bee Gee to still be alive. I play their music almost daily. They are incredible.
Let's not forget the great harmonies the Bee Gees demonstrated on the wonderful ballads they sang from 1968 to the early '70s (before they switched to disco).

So they continued writing hits for others, including Dolly Parton, Dionne Warwick, and Barbra Streisand. They had some good CDs in the 80s and 90s, but still only received respect overseas. They got a raw deal, IMO, by American radio.

I've been listening to Bee Gees for a very long time. 45 now and there are a number of songs that would make me cry still. Too Much Heaven, First of May, And the Sun Will Shine etc

the bee gees to me are the best music group ever , they have along everlasting list of hits . they once had 5 hits in the American top 10 chart , they have an endless list of everlasting songs , please react to ( staying alive , the only love , you should be dancing , love you inside and out , paying the price of love , Dimensions , someone belonging to someone , the only love ) ( wish you were here , tragedy ) .

The Bee Gees were the best! Still my favorite group to this day. After the backlash against disco, American radio wouldn't play their tunes. So they continued writing hits for others, including Dolly Parton, Dionne Warwick, and Barbra Streisand. They had some good CDs in the 80s and 90s, but still only received respect overseas. They got a raw deal, IMO, by American radio.
