Some steps longer than others, like the actual 3d printing took 3 days and I definitely have a few hours into filling and sanding before I even turned the camera on. But the clear coats and chrome took about as look as it plays in the video. The paint and weathering I probably only had 2 hours on. Only because I kept trying different things, didn’t really have a plan.
I’ve absolutely done that a lot of times too! Polished a Darth Vader helmet in a previous video for days lol. But issue on this one isn’t so much the finish, more so that the chrome paint lifted into the clearcoat. If it wasn’t all painted and weathered I’d might try it, but pretty sure no matter how glossy I can get the surface to be I’m afraid the clear would still appear cloudy because the cause is lower than the top surface. Ya know what I mean?
Great job!!!!!!!!!
Wow man!! That is one sweet helmet!! You are a rockstar my friend!!! 🤟🏻🧡🧡🤟🏻
🤘 thank you homie!

Thanks bro!
Holy shit that came out so good!!! 😍😍😍
That looks fantastic Elvis, personally i love the longer videos as i really enjoy seeing the full process & the garage looks awesome. 😊
I can tell you watched the whole thing :) Appreciate you Sheena!
@TheBrodalorian I always do, genuinely I really enjoy the full process 😊
Amazing work Elvis! LOVE that crackle paint on the front. Looks like bone on ancient Beskar! How long did the entire process take?

Why don't you try polishing the clear coat? It will bring back the reflectiveness. I always polish mine with drill attachments.
