I like Erekir hex pvp because of one reason: on Serpulo, your army has to be very strong, because of swarmers. They are like the strongest turret in the game, taking only 4 blocks of space, costing not much and having a synergy with water. On Erekir, its more about speed, you cant just place some swarmers near core wich I think makes Erekir pvp less annoying.
Breakdown from my (Xex's end) I had spawned in a hex with no ground openings, so I had to go for spider units to start (which were more expensive) Then i made 6 small stell to make up for the time lost and swept the scrap players around me. Then i got more tungsten and move up to my 6 oxide wall scheme witch i placed carbide on as soon as i had the thorium to do so. Then i saw that laro had more people and seemed to be winning against YSM. I needed to apply pressure so that he did not boom into the other corner, i cut him off and killed his power so that he could further be outproduced by YSM, who was closer, had better land for air units and had all his units away from me instead of toward then i made power and built the quell spam. witch was runing ~25 minutes into the game (pb 15 min)
If one player kills another, the winner gets the option to /invite that player onto their team. If a player isn't claimed by anyone, either because they joined late or were killed by the fallen team, then they can use /invite to ask to join the team of one living player.
