China's illegal presence and creeping expansion within the Philippine Exclusive. Economic Zone is a blatant disregard to international law of UNCLOS.
China's nine-dash line claim was invalidated by the UNCLOS Permanent
Court of arbitration at the Hague in 2016...
China is among the first countries who signed the UNCLOS in 1982 and ratified it in 1994. But now China refuses to follow the rules based order of UNCLOS and rejects the arbitral court's' ruling, asserts sovereignty and contol of the WPS and the south china sea,
wants to take Taiwan and Senkaku islands.
To deter/counter China's belligerent expansionism in the SCS, WPS , and in the Philippine EEZ,
The PCG, JCG and USCG should jointly, regularly patrol the WPS, the Scarborough, Ayungin, and Escoda shoals.
US and Japan may deploy troops, fighter aircrafts, missiles and Typhon launchers systems,in the islands thru EDCA and RAA.
The philippines should have more ships, fighter aircrafts, anti-ship missiles and anti-ship drones.
