Couldnt agree more! Just start... having and getting everything you think you need is only going to hold you back! Lol I still don't have everything I need 2-3 years in.. Progress over Perfection
Sometimes it’s luck I got called by a dealer which I thought it a scam at first. Love working with them they pay and send me 30-40 cars month. It’s my base right now any customers we get we take it as profit or bonus
Great video I would add make a checklist if you're unsure of your process. Just nice to make sure you don't skip a step. Also definitely do a walk around before you start. You don't want to find a surprise scratch or damage you didn't see before. Best to let the customer know early.
Can you make a video about taxes, LLC, DBA, etc.?
This video was Fr the perfect video I needed rn, I’m ab to start a detailing company and all of these were concerns I was having lol
That mini was sick, I owned one for 10 years and loved it, miss it every day. Appreciate your videos, I am just starting out so I’m completely overwhelmed with everything outside of actual detailing that I need to do.
"sucked away. PAUSE" lmaoo🤣 love your content dude. You've helped me a lot with my business
Helping me out a lot with my detailing business. Thanks for sharing. Great content!
I love this video bro I appreciate you!! 🙏
This video was perfect nailed it spot on now feel more confident to get the ball rolling
Thanks for the great tips! I know that I overanalyze when I'm finished with a job.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
I started my detail business almost a year ago now and every word of this is 100% real!
Love your content and your advice. I'm just starting and realised I'm watching too many videos. Just doing the work now.
Thank you for all this info, great video just getting started into detailing myself always a learning process
Anyone Reading this look into IICRC training. It’s meant for carpet cleaners but it has classes like upholstery cleaning stain removal advanced stain removal mold removal and drying, Carpet repair and more. Most classes are a few days old and they build on each other. Every city has business that offer these classes. It makes a carpet business more reputable the same would apply to car detailing. There’s also other classes not with IICRC like LTT Leathercare that teach you leather repair and cleaning.
Man, I felt this. Greatly advice!
Great video with good advices
Great advice!
This was some really great information. Although I'm too old to start a business, your advice was great to listen to and made a lot of sense. Best of luck.
You are not too old to start. You got this
@@jeffreydawson3020 Thank you, but I'm 63 with back problems. It takes too long to detail a car these days.
What’s up Oscar! I’m a new detailer that just my business early last month and I was wondering what you would recommend for marketing my business if I don’t have access to social media or online. So no SEO, Ads, or anything in that nature. I’ll be able to access it next year but for the time being nothing at all. Thank you so much! Love the content and have a good one bro.
12:08 “pause” lmfaoo but great video just starting my little side business on the side and trying to learn how to get customers little by little. I think I can detail great but getting customers is the hard part I’ve had only a couple and I’m trying to do atleast two a weekend just don’t know how to get booked. Located in Chicago IL
I might add a number 5.- Dont buy stuff just because you "might need it", just stick with all you got and buy it until you really need it on a customer car you couldnt complete, also dont buy the secret/surprise packages on websites, you always get products that will be sitting on the shelf
Big facts!
Great advice
Do you use the clay bar for more stubborn particles? I sometimes see you use clay mitt or clay bars, just curious, thank you!
Truth . I was the same damn way 🤦♂
I’m a big fan of rinse less wash quicker and same results
What is your water setup? If you are mobile
My advice is: dont quit your job to start a business. You will have way less pressure if you got something to fall on.
True. And don’t expect to grow as much as others who are all in.
I would say that’s good but also sometimes you need to take risks and it all just depends on your job. Some people may not want to work where they’re at anymore and may be why they just quit to start their business. 50/50 chance it could do good or bad but you’ll never know unless you try.
Yup. Your business is your side hustle until it isn’t.
I disagree guys don’t be afraid
I detail on the side but I’m also all in, right now I work 50 hours at my main job and detail my days off and after I get off work.
Can I work for you ?😂
Great advice.
