    I said 12 but I think I only said 11 in the video. My bad 😅. If you're ready to grow your business and get more customers, watch the free training how we've grown my to $10K/month: DetailClass.com

    The customer service thing is huge. I’m a few years in and that really is the hardest. Being confident, wording things right, being ready to answer questions and really know what you’re talking about, being able to sell your services and convince people it’s worth the price, making the customer think that you’re the right guy (or girl) for the job. A lot of it comes with experience.

      Yes, all those things for sure. My experience has been to simply look people in the eye as you speak with them, speak with confidence, speak on their level (not detailer jargon), wear nice work clothes (pants and collared shirt tucked in), and for car guys, talk to them about cars as though you know cars. I’ve landed $1k correction and coating jobs after 4 yrs of business by doing the little things.

    be 100 percent straight up and honest with your clients on everything going on with their vehicle and with what's going on with you, your time, and theirs too. explain that some details will be quicker than others and sometimes the price may go up or down depending on what's needed...show them what you're talking about. many times my customers tip me extra for pointing out things that are needed like low tire pressure. old wiper blades, etc, I have filled your tires up since I saw it was low I also took it upon myself to purchase wiper blades after your last detail. if you want them installed. I have them. just pay what they cost.
    customer. ...omg are you serious? yes of course. you're the man. and that is true professionalism.
    treat their vehicle like it's yours. and you'll do great. don't b.s and try to upsell on everything. clients tell me they hate that. just advise that a certain thing is needed or should be done soon.. show them again then leave it at that let them decide and get back to you. don't force anything or you'll be fired like the last detailer who said they "definately need and must get a paint correction" 😆

    Your videos are top notch bro. So many good tips that are realistic and effective. It’s so easy for detailers to waste their time with things that don’t make them any money.

    One more topic is having a shop vs a mobile setup, overhead vs profit gains, winter vs summer experience the lows and highs. It's a lifestyle change as well.

    I will say I've only had one person asked me what I'm using. They just wanted to know if it was meant for cleaning cars. I say yeah it's all car interior cleaner.

    OK the whole social media thing with the ads and comparing yourself.
    I always go with the Lamborghini Porsche commercial saying. Do you ever see commercials or ads for lamb's? No cause they don't need to run those ads to get customers.

    • @Erix7810
      @Erix7810 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      But this is car detailing dude. It’s a lowly service that people hire you to do. Go ahead and take the ‘Lambo’ approach like you described… let me know how many calls you get. 😂

    The bar is too low. Many people can enter this industry with little $.
    Doesnt require special knowledge and years later, the price will be driven to low side and profit disappeared.
