Bro, this is by far the best way to tap strafe on controller, I was using paddles on my scuff and I didn't like it but this way is so seamless. Thanks for the video!

Why bind awd as opposed to just w?
So you can go left and right. We’re using controller therefore we need multiple binds
It's setup the way you have it, i have the W input on my controller in game but it won't let me tap strafe still am i doing something else wrong?
i can tap strafe on my buddies setup but not mine with same settings. my input lag seems worse and and my internet is ass. i still cant figure it out so best of luck

Alright I got a scuff with 2 buttons I was thinking about using my q as r3 and my ping down on the depad. Have L1 to tap strafe left and R1 to go right. The problem is when i do it it would pull out the emote scroll or the burst action. I need help.
You dont need 2 buttons for tap strafing. You’re making it more complicated. Follow the tutorial through and through. Choose L1 or R1 . Not both
@@JakTheDon_ Alright i did that but when i tap strafe the button is still active. I would tap strafe and the emote scroll wheel would pop up. Any tips?
@@julianmadera8138 you didn’t bind it correctly. Once the tap strafe is active the in game function should not be active on the controller . I mentioned tap strafing with L1 in the vid. Load up Apex, change “Extra Character Action” to L1 and then go to 5:09 in the vid and follow that step by step

Damn so there is no way at all to tap strafe without steam downloaded?
No, you should have Steam downloaded already in the first place, its easier on your GPU and games run smoother
Also , this is the only way to tap strafing on controller, if you are on mouse and key then this isn’t the video for you

What if you have a controller with paddles? I would just add it to one of the paddles instead of sacrificing a button right?
No, your paddles are still attached to a button on your controller so u would just be putting your tap strafe button on your paddle
Quick question I seen other examples and they bind 2 different buttons for left turn and right turn so how would it work do you look the way you wanna turn and press left stick down or ???
The 2 button method complicates things . Using one button is better, hence the reason i made this video.

yo how would you even do this with an xbox controller?
I explained in the video, this tutorial works for all controllers.
