I FINALLY was diagnosed autistic and ADHD two years ago at 31 and getting involved with the online AuDHD community was one of the most eye-opening experiences ever. I’ve lost count of all the things I’ve struggled with my whole life, feeling like a total broken human without any idea what was wrong with me or how to fix it, when in fact I was always a perfectly normal AuDHD human.
As someone on the really dark side of not doing well I can say I never thought for a minute you were trying to undermine me. Wonderful sentiment to remember.
You are not alone is a very powerful sentiment. This is not something that should make you feel like your problems are normal, instead it should help empower you to find others with the same problems so that you can band together and do something about them.
Going through tough times alone is always a struggle, having that person to confide in thay can empathise makes the load much light and manageable. Even better when can confide in a place of comfort wether it be your mancave or around a fire pit etc. Somewhere peaceful, quiet without distraction. I'm incredibly thankful for the close people I have around me to lend me an ear and have a chat, empathising and helping, and i'll always be around them to help when needed.
Absolutely not undermining anything. As soon as I heard it this morning, I shared it in all of my family and friends group chats. As a worried and anxious American watching what's gone on these recent weeks, and having watched horrible decisions made by leadership on your side of the world, it's a comfort to know others are feeling and facing similar things, whether currently or in world history. It helps to remind us we have the strength to face the hard times ahead.
As someone who's girlfriend is unexpectedly pregnant and our plans for moving in together have accelerated, I'm in a state that is best described by a Doctor Who quote: "DAD SHOCK". Sounds cliché but at least it's something that is well known enough to have it's own term. This is at least giving people a sense they're being supported rather than having their feelings dismissed like I've seen on some channels. Great song, keep it up.
Yes - keep our humour & know we're in it together - Would love to create more (up for editing collab btw) - but - so glad to have you on side when life gets in the way!
I've got lots of Dr's appointments, nurse visits and specialists to see at the moment. It's been going on for a few months and will go on for months more I imagine. Living on my own with no real life friends to talk to makes it tough, but I have internet friends on various live streams I can chat with which helps a bit.
"Suffer not the King!" Yeah... we've been here before. As a group. Some people don't read history. They are surprised. We are not. thank you as always for your cheerful support. I personally NEED it. (Virginia, USA) I'm crocheting my rage. At least I'll have a blanket when I'm done. Leaves my mind free to PLOT. They say, when you find yourself in Hell....keep moving forward. We are...."buffering".
Is it just me or is the video flickering at times? Or is YT trying to pump even more adds into my eye-sockets? XD Also: Remember that you're not alone. Never. There is always someone there. You only need to reach out. Question (not serious) : would you do a short intro music for my other TH-cam channel where I talk about tiny fighting men, painting plastic soldiers and other peoples hobbies? (serious question) Are you talking care of yourself and do you drink enough?
The timing of this song is uncanny! You are right about reaching out. A problem solved is a problem halved. Have you been a warlock wizard long, or are you just a quick learner?

I never understood why other people suffering too is supposed to cheer me up, tbh.
It’s true, though it doesn’t really make me feel any better 😢
I haz received an answer! Huzzah! But I already asked a question with the other account so I will not ask again. That would be rude. Carry on!
