Had the 2019 NA hatch for 2 years. Finally traded it in for a 2023 Turbo hatch PP because i felt the NA was at a point where i wanted more that it just couldnt give me. The Turbo is legit my perfect version of a 3. The only draw back as he stated is the fuel economy. If you buy the turbo be ready to be at the pump alot. I usually see 200 miles on a full tank. You want the power youre going to pay for it. The Turbo is on another planet when it vs the NA. The torque is amazing along with the 250 HP with 93 octane. If youre daily driving the turbo, fuel is going to cost you. Get the aero package too. The lower front air dam and extra spoiler makes the car look perfect. Love my Turbo 3.
Hardest decision for me was Sedan vs Hatch. They both look good in their own way but I ended up going with the sedan but i always have second thoughts of going with the egg shape also. Do you know if its true that the hatch drives a little better or are they more or less the same.
Yea super nice vehicles they're just so expensive for being small cars back seats are useless might as well be a coupe but they do drive a lot nicer than their peers so that's good
Just remember, you only get a 12.7 gallon fuel capacity. If you have a heavy throttle foot, that range won't get you very far. That goes for any AWD Mazda 3. Fwd models are slightly larger at 13.2 gallons.
Yea you're not going far in these turbo awd Mazdas for sure my friend. FWD NA Mazda is def the way to go with better real world fuel economy, less complexity, lower price, etc.
@@MeynMotorGroup A 2022 Carbon edition FWD sedan would be my choice since it was the last year you could get a Mazda 3 without the VCM system. The 2022 Premium and awd NA models were the exception. Now, all NA Mazda 3's are equipped with VCM. That is definitely one advantage of the turbo imo. No VCM on any trim level or body configuration.
Very good point you brought up my friend, variable cylinder management (VCM) can cripple long term dependability and we know people buy these cars to keep long term. Sad they add this stuff to make their cars disposable
Test drove one of these same color and model you have. Turbo car. Was very nice, but at 6 ft 1, it did feel cramped and very small inside. I couldn't couldn't justify the rather hefty price the car cost. Test drove the civic, didn't care for it, Checked out the corrola, definitely not. Had seen a couple of kia K5s, and the firt time I saw one it turned my head! Test drove one , liked it inside and out. Saw your review, and decided to go for it. Got the Gt line with premium package in passion red for 28.800 dollars. And qualified for thier 0.0 intrest promotion they were offering! 2 and a half years and 30.000 miles later, Im very pleased with it, spacious , and comfortable. No issues. Also, since Mazda took out the independent rear suspension in this car, and put an old fashioned twist beam in, it seems to have hurt sales with the enthusiasts. I am in Southern California and hardly ever see any of these on the roads here.
I just got an AWD '23 Carbon Edition hatch (LOVE IT!) and I can't imagine needing more power. 191 hp for a car that barely weighs 3,000 lbs is PLENTY. Also, I can't imagine needing headlights that adapt with turns given how wide the LEDs on mine brighten the area. As with the turbocharger, it's just another thing that will eventually break down and need to be replaced, for no good reason.
That toffee apple red as i like to call it looks amazing , that was the colour I told you a couple of years ago now, looks great when seen through polarizing sunglasses.

They'll never bring it back as nobody bought them. Mazda sold less than 20k units per year whereas other brands sell 100k-300k units per year of their mid size sedan. Even this Mazda 3 isn't a hot seller they may stop making the 3 as well but we'll see

I get about 700km to 1 tank on my 2024 awd turbo. You people must drive like maniacs to get such low mileage
Drove about 200km the other day and it only took 1/4 of a tank

Well above their class... the Mazda3 hatch, sedan, and CX30 are good picks to me. I would get those above entry Audi, Benz, or BMW. 6:09

Such a crazy color, every other cars paint job in a parking lot looks like bland turds compared to this. Even looks amazing at night 👍
