How does Citi's product changing system work, mainly for double cash cardholders who wanna upgrade up to 2 custom cash cards?
*You need to have had it for a minimum of a year. That's all.*

It worked for me. I went to chat online and asked about product changing the Double Cash to a Custom Cash and they approved it. The first one I got a year earlier and now I have 2 Citi Custom Cash cards.
What was your credit score and how long with your credit history
Mine was 805 Equifax and a starting limit of 9500. They pulled the Equifax Fico score. My credit history is a average of 3.1 years, with the longest account on my credit history being 8 years.

No Sir
If you just use it for groceries and nothing at all you still get the 5percent?
Yes. Since it is a qualifying category, and the only category you use it on.
Credit score needed for double cash card

@@gustavobaez7280 *Yes, you can because you did a product change, not approval process. Don't forget that citi has rules. Look up the video citi credit card approval rules, before you apply for the custom cash. Good luck*

@@Jesus-kt5dc I have 2 and Cal's trick worked. I product changed my Double Cash that I was hardly using to a 2nd Custom Cash. I got the bonus on the first one. Citi right now won't approve me for another card since I have a lot in inquiries on my account.
