  • This is such a helpful video for Cricut beginners and Cricut pros all about how to connect cursive fonts in Cricut Design Space. Although Cricut has recently added a feature to automatically kern fonts, it doesn't necessarily work for all cursive fonts and sometimes we like to make some manual adjustments to them if they aren't joined exactly as we want. Rachel will show you this Cricut Design Space technique and break it down easily for you so you can kern fonts like a pro. Get all of our best Cricut hacks for kerning fonts here!

    I’m a beginner and something that I just learned after googling - is why after I’d weld, some of my letter blacked out. My font was too close, maybe add that in if you do a desktop version video. This was SO frustrating for me when I first started. Save someone else that frustration 😉 Thank you!

    Hi, this was a great tutorial. Can you do one on how to get the dot of the “I” to attach? I’m trying to make a stand up cake topper and the dot on the “I” and question mark is separate.

    I LOVE your teaching style! You made this tutorial totally understandable and the BEST takeaway for me was putting one word per text box! You have so much more flexibility when doing that. I was working on something today that drove me crazy and if I had put each word into one text box, I would not have spent so much time on my project. ALSO, I have looked at many different tutorials on connecting cursive fonts but your tutorial helped me completely understand what I need to do! Thank you so much!

    What do you do when your letters move and don’t stay properly aligned when you weld them? And when font gets less bold when you weld it?

    • @MakersGonnaLearn
      @MakersGonnaLearn  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Your letters should not go anywhere when you weld. And we have never seen our fonts get less bold when we've welded

    Is there a way to close the o in hello and the d in friends?

    • @MakersGonnaLearn
      @MakersGonnaLearn  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      what do you mean by "close" them?

    • @janlabbate174
      @janlabbate174 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Makers Gonna Learn the o in the hello is open just enough that it will have to be weeded out and the d in friends is the same way. I’m wondering if there is a way to close both of those letters to make them a solid o and a solid d instead of having the opening in the o or the d.
