- Tony and I find the new Nissan Z here in Detroit! To our surprise it’s the production model!! In this video we’ll show you some close up shots and walk around the whole car. @Marshal Hatley I went to a local dealership and spoke with the owner. His manager put my name in a registry. Look to pay around $10k over sticker for it.

I absolutely love this new Nissan Z and I can’t wait to buy one once they start hitting showrooms. This will first car that I buy brand new since graduating college and I am so excited to get my Z with the passion red paint and get the white lettering for the wheels.

Its a premium wheel. I actually liked the more concave wheels on the 370, wonder how wide and deep you can fit aftermarket
Only thing it'll need from factory is an aftermarket exhaust and tune. We're good to go.

370z had a turn signal light in the Z badge on the fender, as you may know. I thought that looked cleaner than a light assembly on the side mirror caps.
Yea I also love the Z turning signal on the front fender!
Idk if it’s the camera you’re using or just it being a sunny day or what, but the yellow really pops in this video. I wasn’t into the color at first but I’ve come around to it in a big way. I’m going to get one ASAP, and while I was dead set on the blue before, now I’m torn between the blue and yellow.

If I did not buy my 2021 a91 Supra this would of been the choice definitely but Nissan took for ever to update the z . Oh well .. Z is best option for the price for sports car I would of gotten it Damnn it Nissan !

I like it, I don't love it. I've had the earlier Z's but this one is lacking character. In time it may grow on me.
Na minha opinião a Nissan foi muito preguiçosa ao desenvolver o desenho deste carro, visto que suas linhas de sedan, como : Altima e outros estão impecáveis.
This must be a different yellow z than the Z proto car since this has the smaller calipers and the rear wing. So that brings the total up to 5 now out in the wild
Yea this isn’t the Z proto it’s a production Z. The yellow was actually the same as the proto. The lighting outside changed through the day so it made the color look different in some views.
@@detroitdrivers4415 gotcha gotcha. Didn't know we had a yellow production z too. So far with there being yellow, blue, grey, and silver, I can only hope that some more of the colors get shown off before the preorder date. I myself am very interested in that rosewood color

@@detroitdrivers4415 oh we know the colors. Just haven't seen them on the car yet. I think so far the two tones will be red yellow blue white, a different kind of grey like nardo and silver, the solid color will be rosewood, black, and grey.

Similarities yes, but not just a shell change.
2 time 370z owner here and yes while I am very interested in buying the blue or maroon version of this car, I still can’t get over why everyone is obsessing over what is mostly a re-skinned 370. Yes it’s got twin turbo but that’s about the only real change aside from the body

Looked like a dent in the passenger side front quarter panel.
That is the most basic front bumper design i ever seen on a car,i agree sometime less is more but comon guys,other then that the car is sleek elegant looking.
nothing a kit won't fix.
They should added a lil vertical LED strip on the bumper or foglights.
did it seem shorter or longer than the 370z, cus i really hated the 370z cus of how stubby it seemed
It’s slightly longer by an inch or two. Wheel base is the same. New Z feels more narrow than a 370 even though it’s an inch wider. You should really look closer at a 370 again Lmao

The specs suggest that the new z is a little more than 5 inches (142mm) longer that its predecessor.
Great powertrain however rear and front grill are god awful ugly! Back to the drawing table Nissan!

I think this car is overrated, it does look better in video than in pictures, I think it just looks alright not amazing.

@@joestuehmer7967 I guess I haven't seen one in person yet, but it's a bit overrated, the turbo engine is nice, and I like the 240z styling but it's just not getting me excited enough to drop 70k Aussie on it, I guess I should reserve my judgement till I see one in real life.
styling is meh
