I created purple gear for all of my alts, even jewelry. So when my main hit CP160 she had no materials left for her own stuff. DOH! My ESO history is similar to yours. I started and was so confused and frustrated that I quit for 2 years. I tried it again when I heard Skyrim was coming out and now I'm hooked, have 3 CP390 toons and working on more. I have you to thank for helping my learning curve.
Not mine mistake but yesterday one of my guild mates with CP350 asked how the hell with same set, class and race i have over 6k hp more. After small talk I found out he wasn't using any food ever and he didnt want to spend those 2 points in undaunted guild line that give you % stats for each piece of diferent EQ :) Than after i told him what food im using on trials he started to complain that is expensive (Artaeum Pickled Fish Bowl) and he cant afford it. For this type of ppl you need to explain every single point of game, after over 30 min explaining him that he dont need exactly this one coz its best in slot and there is many other that are cheaper he finnaly moved his ass and started to check uncle google what food should he buy. After another 1h he came back crying he cant find something like that cheap (he wanted lot hp and magicka) and only thing he found was Witchmother's Potent Brew, i start to feel pity on him coz for whole hour he was checking drinks not meals :) After that i just made for him 100 x Solitude Salmon-Millet Soup what was closest to Artaeum what i could find.
Been playing since 2014 beta. Haven't played more than 4 dungeon runs. I play the game mostly like a single player game. I love spending time walking through the environments, music and just exploring with various characters from different point of views. Such an enjoyable game even solo. I've spent countless hours just leveling my crafting skills and RPing. This game has something for everyone. I don't think there is a right or wrong way to play the game as long as you are having fun.
I've been saying what you just said for years. I love taking a day off and just walking around. Then about three hours at the most turn on Overkill the game. The same stories are just as fun as the main stories .
There's too many tips and tricks to be told in one video honestly. But here's my few tips that I have in my mind. You can freely fast travel via wayshrines, guildmates or friends. You can travel all over the map and unlock the wayshrines just via the navigators that you can find in each zone, usually in a big city or the main city / town. You can also, "load screen travel" by travelling to someone's primary residence and exit that place through the regular entrances. You don't have to join only 1 player guild. You can join up to 5, usually having trading guilds, pve guilds, solo guilds and so on. You can have a main guild that u usually interact with but have 4 more guilds for trading and finding players to do dungeons with. Understand that largely, Light armor is for magicka based builds, medium armor is for stamina based and heavy armor is for tankish based builds. Theres alot of other combinations but its loosely based like this. Passives are your best friends. They make or break a build and having some passives unlock with a few abilities is much better than having alot of abilities with none to litte passives unlocked. Level everything. Take your time. Once you have level up everything, it gives you the leeway and opportunity to change your build in endgame if anything isn't up to your liking. This game isn't meant to be taken all in one bite, like WoW or perhaps FF14. Its more... meandering, and usually rewards time more than effort. Some may be put off by it, others simply adore it for that reason. The good thing about this mmo is that you won't really be behind in terms of gear progression or builds because most of the characters power comes from cp levels and base game abilities. Dlc item sets are powerful but not gamebreaking. You can literally wear basic stuff like Hundings Rage and Automaton sets that are found in base game and be a great player at even trial levels, albeit normal modes. Get the hang of the rotation, builds and sets and you are good to go.
@@xValkya i just started a few days ago, and am doing the eslwyr zone story. Should i stop and go back to the main story or does it really matter? So far im liking the story in this zone and dont want to stop unless it matters.

I remember testing this myself by walking up Vivec’s stairs and then riding up them. I did this almost two years ago iirc so I forgot the times but it was definitely slower. It was slow enough that I actually bought the premium mount booster and just dumped it in speed bc I found it so annoying
Mount Gallop and Sprint are the same speed. At 0% its 140% movement. At 60% mount speed its 200% base which is the run speed cap. But mount is uncapped and Gallop (mount speed buff from PVP akill line) breaks the 200% speed. Sprint is far easier to buff though without having to wait on CD.
Great video! But for number 2 at the riding skill, i feel it's worth mentioning doing a battleground when you turn lvl 10, if you get your assault role to lvl 3, you can buy a passive wich makes your mount 30 percent faster. Really helps!
You don't even need to do a battleground - do the cyrodiil intro quest (which just involves playing with some siege gear and finding out what an Elder Scroll does in PvP). 5 minutes, tops and pretty much zero effort.
I gotta say now that I've been playing it seems super easy if you break it down into sections of things to do like currently im mostly questing within zones to get a feel and then selling stuff im not using later on down the line, eventually ill be focusing on the campaignprobably after stonefalls
There's an insane amount of jargon in this, lol. Idk half the things he's talking about. This is definitely a video for folks who are familiar with the game.
THANK YOU I appreciate the hustle but I ain't gonna watch your shit if I need to sit through over 2 minutes of shill before you give me what I came for
I was lucky enough to have a friend who had been playing for a year before hand. So I had everything shown to me slowly and allowed me to ignore all the written tutorials
Upgrading my first set of jewelry to gold and transmuting it to infused/bloodthirsty was the most intimidating and expensive decision I've had to make so far. 12 chromium plating + 150 transmute crystals = 900,000 gold + 3 weeks of grinding = 1 set of jewelry. The damage boost you get from upgrading jewelry to gold that you've enchanted with weapon damage glyphs is definitely worth it. Just make damn sure it's CP160 and a from a set you absolutely love to use for one of your favorite builds.
Upgrade your steed speed everyday! I do mine when I get my daily bonus. It’ll help when you have to go from one end to the other. I know when I had to go around ad get my skyshards it made it slot less daunting.
I agree. I just started playing 5 days ago. I’m only level 18 and am enjoying just taking it all in. Many of these quests have more depth that some quests in morrowind, oblivion and Skyrim . I want to play the raids and whatnot eventually but I don’t feel the need to rush to get there because the game is just fun.
Thanks for this mate. I'm 3 weeks in, I played till level 35 doing quests and following the text etc and I found it really fun. Then I stumbled on the Alik'r desert doloman grind and now I'm cp126 and seriously I'm so clueless about the game still, it's embarrassing. So I totally agree about the rushing through the levels.
T^T im cp160 and still have no idea what im doing... Some guy we met gave us training gear and told me and my friend to get to cp160 as fast as we could...
I knew about the mount training but completely forgot about it after a very long break from the game. I'm literally kicking myself right now for having forgotten something so simple.
This is by far the best ESO channel on TH-cam. Always straight to the point, teaching, guiding, etc. I really appreciate your work buddy, stay like this and thank you so much :)
One of the mistakes I made and honestly didn’t learn from until cp 810, was that I assumed that veteran players would be unwilling to help me out as a new player. Whilst I turned out fine from this I definitely believe that I could have far surpassed what I am now had I just asked for help
Yes yes yes!!! I did this as well until I decided to really dig for a guild I was interested in. They ended up being the most helpful and friendly vets I’ve ever seen in ESO.
@@armanibecerra9253 they wont beat me x) i found a cp 170 in cyrodiil attacking bruma, which i killed relatively easy, only to find out from whispers he is scared of pvp, and simply wanted to buy the deadly set for his stamplar. I'm in that situation atm. Was level 35 till I found the Alik'r desert now I'm cp126 and im still pretty clueless but I don't want to bother random guild I joined to ask proper noob questions lol
@@OfficialFingazMC if you’re in a guild that you feel uncomfortable asking questions, it’s probably not the right guild for you. Good luck! Also, for crafting, recommend searching TH-cam for ESO crafting guide to find one that will walk you through basics.

3rd day and im still @Khenarthi`s roost. Level 13 and love it. Chatting with random NPCs, learning lore, gathering, crafting...love it. Cup of coffee and chilling. No rush whatsoever.
This will be pretty obvious, but... Socialize. Making friends is the REAL currency in this game and any other MMO for that matter. Join guilds, talk to people, join in on all sorts of activities. Jump in. Help out. Speak up, let them know what you want to do, what you need help with. More experienced players will teach you everything you need to know! (and there is a lot to learn) When I first started playing ESO it was a dream come true. Tamriel as an open world game. Amazing. But I was NOT a fan of the MMO genre. So I played solo only. This was a huge disadvantage. After six months I realized I was utterly stuck and the only way forward was to join a guild. So I did. It was a bit scary and I really didn't want to - but I learned SO MANY things and could finally do all the harder/group content and make my character stronger! This lead to other guilds, new friends, learning even more stuff, constantly evolving and improving. Having fun! That was 5 years ago. I still push myself to make new friends and join new guilds. Keep expanding. It's well worth it. The funny thing is, the more I played with other people, the more my inventory would fill up with gold, materials and sets all without even thinking much about it. Like silent rewards. But on your own... it's gonna be a constant uphill struggle. Always low on gold. Always needing this and that. So please. Throw yourself into this huge community. Make friends, learn stuff, have fun. Sure, there might be some a**holes here and there. Ignore them. There are crappy guilds, too. Move on, find another guild. Keep moving forward. There's always more to learn, there's always more to accomplish. Mountains of gold for the taking. Blood and glory! But you will not make it very far without friends. It's important.
I am just now TRYING to embrace this philosophy after about 3-4 mo brand new player. Wanted it to be like Skyrim lol but it’s not & that’s ok. Just taking me time because a lot of ppl just assume everyone knows what they know. Like slang/shorthand terms specific to eso....that’s a big one. Because even when I’m in teaching trials it can b hard to follow because I’m trying to learn all the abbreviations n shit to fully understand what’s being said. Or just learning how to group up, communicate & travel with others is an undertaking itself because no one explains basic stuff like that. You just gotta ask a loooot of Q’s & not care about seeming stupid lol. Plus I’ve been having mic problems soooo...it’s frustrating but I’m trying to open up & learn & make new friends ☺️
Biggest mistake I see people make is thinking "I just need this gear set and I'll pull huge damage/wreck in pvp." Nope, it takes practice, gear is not nearly as important as just being able to properly light attack weave or animation cancel between skills (if you want those REAL sweaty numbers) practice practice practice and dont give up, it'll come to you. This game just has a learning curve that's higher than most mmorpgs, that I've played.
Idk, animation cancelling sounds like a bug that ZoS were just like ahh we'll spin it as something that is skillful. Idk, I like to see my abilities or what's the point
@@HashiMakesMusic I've been saying this for years and all the vets froth at the bit every time I mention light attack weaving as an exploit not a mechanic that should've been removed years ago.
@@Supadrumma441 I think it wad an accidentdental addition to the game, but it is actually great for the game. They ended up keeping it which makes the game feel more fluent and fast paced
Mistakes 1)Powerleveling 2)Not Researching/Mount Upgrades 3)Setting up Skill Bar, Attributes, EXP 4)Upgrading items too soon or too much 5)Not unlocking guild lines, opening undaunted chests before CP 160
@@mrwinsome2396 Can I ask some advice then please. Since I wrote this I'm CP 180 and still known nothing about crafting. What would you suggest to start with?
@@OfficialFingazMC any crafting will pay off, buddy. Join a guild for commerce. You can sell crafting materials through the guild merchant (which you can access in any bank of the game). Eventually you find treasure maps and survey maps. They have a unique name, so you can look for the exact location of the treasure here on TH-cam. Raw materials of any type sell pretty good, and they're easy to find with the survey maps
I really appreciate these videos. I'm just feeling more and more that ESO is such a time suck. There are so many things to do, and a lot seems redundant. It's like a massive to-do list and every day you have to just tick off all the things for that day and eventually you'll get to a point in the game where... you have to grind even more? Just doesn't feel worth it.
Yeah, feel this with a lot of multiplayer games tbh. I’ve been playing it with my dad and we just do quests, and have fun. Grinding this much is completely pointless!
@@papafhill9126 absolutely, it’s almost like some games have convinced us that’s what needs to be done in order to have fun, when it’s never fun at all!
My mistake was not knowing that I needed to put skill points into provisioning and alchemy to make multiples of one food, or potion. So many wasted mats lol. Those perfect roe aren't cheap 😭
Yeah same its only yesterday I started playing the game and tbh if your just doing quests you don't need to meta game you can just have fun since bosses aren't leveled like in the elder scrolls games
One of the biggest QOL improvements that the Devs can give us is to make mount training account-wide, like CP. Honestly, this is the biggest reason that I've limited the number of Alt's that I have.
That's absolutely *not* a good idea... Are you're Provisioning skills account-wide or character-bound?? How about your ability to turn invisible, or run while being stealthed?? These are things that *characters* learn, just like individual riding skills....
@@TheSpiritsLease Where did I say slippery slope?? And since when is a day only 20 hours?? Is an effing day shorter than a regular day?? So if your sister raises her riding skill on her character, your character should get credit?? You all shouldn't be sharing an account, anyway... ROFL
I’m CP 210 and still feel I know next to nothing. Lol. I’ve never seen such a huge game with so much to learn. I play solo as well. I’ve lvld my horse to 60 Speed and 30 Stam so far. Maxed out quite a few skills. Destruction & Restoration staff, Breton, Provisioning and lots of others. In the 40s of my clothing. Woodworking, Blacksmith as well. What I didn’t do though was upgraded my Undaunted, Fighters or Mage skills fast enough. I do Dailies like crafting, I’ve just started doing my Mages daily. I do daily dungeons but although I can hold my own ( I think) people run through them so fast I have no idea what is really going on it just run, kill mobs, check bookshelves, kill boss rinse and repeat. Lol. Anyway. I still love it. I’m on the coldharbour part of the main campaign and also playing through the latest expansion. My mistake I feel is I opened to many area quests at once and never focused on any one. I have abandoned quite a few and focused on a couple. Great vid. 👍
Doesn't really matter if you abandon story quests, because you can continue where you left off in the quest chain later and will only lose a small amount of progress on the current quest if you started it. The story lines are basically long chains of short quests strung together and eso keeps your place.
@@asraf0205 Not everyone is in a tearing rush to get to max level. Rushers are generally toxic, because they are in too much of a hurry to even be civil. And it is a rotten way to play games that leads to quick burnout.
I have been playing for a while and I just keep making mistakes but I am old. Thankfully other players are helpful. I mainly solo PVE but getting into more group stuff. Did a dungeon the other day, suppose to be DPS, didn't realise one of the skills on my stamina Templar had 'taunt' the enemy for 15 seconds. Kept getting told I wasn't the tank, had no idea what was going on until I reviewed the skills. Trying to make it more DPS'ish now. That in itself is a learning process for me. As a new player I made a major mistake with a world boss. I saw two people fighting this big old beast. I thought I will go and help. Was getting walloped by the monster, so ran for it. Pulled the monster out of the zone and it reset the stats. The other two guys were not happy. But you live and learn.
I love this comment, but that’s what it’s all about. I never realised what I was getting into when I first started playing, I used to set my group finder to the tank roll because it got me into doungens quicker, I didn’t realise I was messing it for everyone in my random pieces of light armour lol but like you said, you live and you learn
The first thing I would suggest is you get out there, explore, and fill out your maps. Nab every Wayshrine you can fine, so you unlock Fast Travel all over Tamriel. Don't focus on 1 Map, and try to sweep it exclusively. One thing that players, especially new players screwed themselves on at Launch is they would get to the first City, camp the nearest dungeon, tape down the Puncturing Sweeps button, and AFK. Which would get them up to level 50, and then they'd have nowhere to go. One Wayshrine, some Docks, and that's about it. Maybe 50 duplicates of the same set piece, which isn't enough to piece together a set Bonus. It's a huge interconnected world, so get out there, and get the world connected, so you have somewhere to go on your adventures.
Very good video. I am just starting to play ESO again after a 3 year break so am basically relearning how to play this game again. I made all these mistakes when I played before and burned myself out. Now I am taking my time, enjoying the game and I am loving it. This video is very helpful, keep up the good work. You have a new sub. :)
Excellent tips, can vouch for these as being super important because most of the endgame ESO stuff is hard gated by time with no way to bypass actual real world time. It can be quite annoying as a new player. Though the game's still leaps and bounds ahead of where it began at launch, and even a year or so out from that point while they refused to change major design flaws. Animation cancelling for instance is probably another thing i'd add to this list, in that learning how to do it early while leveling so you'll be used to it is important. I didn't like how the dev team handled it though, after admitting that it was unintended (meaning it was an exploitable bug), but then never addressed it, eventually just deciding to openly support leaving it in the game, without adding anything ingame like a tutorial to introduce every new player into methods for using it, leaving them to be behind the curve until they stumbled across and or googled it.
One more thing i didn't know when i started - every weekend always check Gold trader in PvP faction outposts. It can have stuff which you are hunting for. All items there are always 160 CP. So if you see item which you are sure that you are going to use buy it. Second free transport. Transport to your house is free. Completing some quests give you free house. Traveling from wayshrine to wayshrine is free. So if you are in wild dont port to wayshrine it cost gold. Port to house then if there is near wayshrine go to it and port where you want.
Yeah I do that all the time. Its kind a pain in the rear bc my house is the ebon flask room upstairs. But worth saving 140gold. What pisses me off is the much better skyrim antiquity home is SO FAR from the wayshrines. Or thatd be my go-to place.
Trust me, you want to have the ability to craft your own sets. My advice to new players, do your daily writs. Once you've maxed, do your master writs. Crafting your own sets will be super valuable later on when you start making alts and you want some leveling gear. Doing daily crafting writs is a very easy way to have a steady income of gold. I do them on 12 toons on almost a daily basis. It's well worth the effort. I make about 300k gold a week and I have crafting mats out the doodoohole, which is also another way to make gold. I use the gold I make on each toon to level my mounts.
Did I mention that I've made about 4 to 5 million of my 7 million gold from doing crafting writs? I'd probably have 15 million but I spent a lot on gear and motifs.
Once you've learned all the different crafting systems you'll get daily crafting writs (blue quest markers). Jewelry crafting is only available if you own the Summerset chapter.
@@destiny2325 Once you hit Level 6 you can be certified in the crafting professions. Go to your alliance's starter city and look for two NPCs named Miilenith (a Wood Elf) and Danel Telleno (a Dark Elf). Millenith will give you a series of quests that teach you the basics of the equipment crafting system (woodworking, blacksmithing, clothing) and Danel will do the same for the consumables (alchemy, provisioning, enchanting). Once you've completed these quests you can start collecting and completing crafting writs; these are dailies that require you to make equipment and consumables and drop them off for rewards such as equipment, crafting materials, surveys, gold and experience. You grab these every day off bulletin boards in the major cities. Jewelry was added by the Summerset chapter, so you have to have it to do jewelry writs. To get certified you have to travel to Alinor in Summerset and talk to an Altmer named Felarion. He'll get you certified, and then you can grab jewelry writs daily off the equipment writ boards in all the cities they're located in. Hope this helps.
Unrefined crafting mats are huge sellers in the guild trader stores. If you don't mind farming material nodes in your travels, joining a trade guild and selling surplus mats can make you lots of gold.
I just wanted to say thank you thank you THANK YOU for making a tutorial that I could actually understand. I'm on day 2 of playing ESO. I'm having fun, but when I try to look up advice online it's usually so full of lingo that makes sense to veterans but I'm completely lost. Brah, exellent channel, awlays good tips. The main mistake i made was using my sons account. 5 years later (Feb this year) i had to start my own account from scratch. Although starting again was a lot easier. dungeons to lvl quickly, main quest lines after cp160. The biggest mistake at end game, not using spell/weapon pots. what a difference they make in group play. you use a lot but deffo worth it. Keep the vids coming. esp the collectibles.
I just started playing at Necrom and all of your videos have been so helpful! I am currently running an Imperial Arcanist and when I do my daily dungeons for The Undaunted, I run as a healer. It has been a blast! I've also been doing the storylines and I found a great guide that puts all of the quests in order so you can follow the story. I started with the Daggerfall Covenant since Imperials can join any alliance.
Not grinding and burning out is the best tip. And getting good at it. Don't chase dailies and weeklies like it's a job, this will wither your soul. Do what you feel like in the moment, and stop immediately when you're not having fun. I recently reprogrammed myself and my attitude after gaming like a madman for 30 years. Destiny was the last draw that broke my spirit. But after focusing on ONLY having fun and fighting the reflex to go do those timed events or whatever it doesn't bother me to miss stuff. Which I don't, really, since now I can play games continuously without wanting to blow my brains out. So it's a win /win. But it takes time. Almost like going to rehab for alcohol / substance abuse. Your brain needs to stop firing off neurons that signal for a dopamine injection as soon as you see "Double Exp Today Only!" message. ESO is filled with explore galore. And ZOS reward the curious. Which is sweet if you're like me and "wonder what's behind that waterfall?". Often something. It's just something that puts the MMO in the genre, being a part of a living world. In Destiny and many open world games, there was nothing, anywhere, unless it was a bug (Loot Cave). Take it easy and enjoy. PS. From one recovering grinder to another maybe. If you're a gamer with a history of burning out, this rendering your hobby unwanted: NEVER only play one game. Find another game that you can wind down with or just gives you different input. It is the best thing I've done. I currently alternate between 5-6 games. Warframe, ESO, Titanfall 2, Battlefront 2, Risk of Rain 2, Divinity 2, etc. Works for me anyway 😘. Hm, never noticed but, maybe it's the sequels that does it?! 😂 👊
Here's the biggest one I made: Try to stick to one character at the start. Learn the game and all the systems with just the one character, get that character to Level 50, get some CPs on them, maybe try make a proper build with them using full sets and skill loadouts. Only then should you consider making alt characters. I jumped around a lot between characters for a long time at the beginning, but once I finally stuck with my Dunmer Nightblade, made him my crafter, got him to level 50, I properly started to understand the game, and I found it so much easier to create alts. Not only because of the CPs you can assign to low level alts, but also because it's hard to learn the game when all you're seeing is the beginning over and over. Try find the end (or at least the middle where you actually kinda know what's going on) before starting again so you know what you're building toward and how to get there.
Congratulations you won my monthly giveaway.💝💝💝💝 My fan's are my biggest motivation that's why I'm doing everything to make them happy.....................
3:00 Maaan, how can one avoid leveling? You get XPs for everything enjoyable - quests, dungeons etc. There is really no way how to intentionally slow down/speed up your level gain.
==Warning: Long comment ahead.== I apologize for the length of this comment.t I edited every time a new topic came up in the video that I had something that I wanted to share about my own personal experience. I completely agree with the mount training and the horse feeling like it's walking through molasses. After having my mount on my main character (which is still fairly new) reach 10% speed increase, and then being on my alt and her speed being at 1% (don't worry I've been working on increasing it ) I wasn't prepared for the slow down and for I bit I just ran places because she moved faster than her horse. I've become accustomed to moving faster. in regards to skill points, I like I've been doing fairly well with this making sure I had at least one skill from each of my class lines in my skill bar (a couple class lines might have 2 skills). Then when I was able to have to skill bars I categorized my kills (skill bar 1 damage and weapon, skill bar 2 heals and armor). All my skill XP bars across the different categories have been leveling up fairly quickly and somewhat balanced. It has taken me a bit of trial and error to gauge when to switch between bars and when to cast what skill. In terms of morphing skills I've been focusing on class skills first and then weapon/armor and everything else after those. For my attributes, I keep them pretty even because I want my characters to be versatile, and be able to do stamina and magicka dps and be able to take some damage when needed on my main (high elf warden), and I want to be able to do magicka healing and stamina damage on my alt (high elf templar). I haven't upgraded weapons or armor on any of my characters. I just switch out when I pick up something better and keep something locked in my inventory so I can have it as a backup should something break that isn't really worth repairing. I've been working on unlocking guild lines. However, I've been having issues with Undaunted on my main. I've been doing quests for Undaunted but I haven't been given the guild skill line. However, on my alt, she has the skill line and she only did one quest for the Undaunted to get it. Very frustrating to me.
Thank you so much for this guide, Adam. 👍 I'm aware that it's been 3 years since you uploaded the video, but as a new player it is clear to me that these tips are very much still viable and very useful! ... Once again, Thank you!
The mistake that i made, i have no clue what is the main story line is. and how to get them. And 2nd, I combine Stamina and Magika 50-50. And 3rd, i am lost with all the numbers.
Ha its true; 1-50 lvl, in 5h sure np but nobody tells you how much afterwards is taken to get character playable, you need around 120 skill points to skill up, you need gear, you need to make that gear at trait you need, and all that may or may not cost a lot of money. So 5h of farming is not enough to be able to run that char in trials not by a long shot.
Is there a setting somewhere that filters treasure/rewards for class? I run a duel-wielding necromancer and keep getting great swords and hvy armor for rewards!! Very frustrating.
I started playing eso in 2016 for like 45 hours (reached lvl 30 or something like that) and quit because it wasnt like Skyrim. I played another 40 hours one year later with a new char and quit again. 2019 i started my 3rd char and played the morrowind chapter for the 3rd time and started enjoying the game. My 2 biggest mistakes, when i started eso, were 1st: I compared eso to single player elder scrolls and got disappointed by the lack of immersion 2nd: I started training two types of weapon (for front and back bar) yet after 100 hours of playing Bonus-mistake: i thought that dungeons are endgame content and i started dealing with them not before i reached cp 200 or something like that.
Mistake 1: Not focusing your mount training on speed first (At least to 20) even though extra bag space sounds so much more tempting. Mistake 2: Not going to Cyrodiil as soon as you are able and doing the basic training quests, which will award you enough alliance points to get Assault rank 3 and be able to place a skill point in the "Continuous Attack" passive in the Assault skill line, which gives you Major Gallop (+30% mount speed) at all times.
One thing to avoid..following other people's builds..learn your toons on your own. Later when the game gets boring and it will. Then mess around with other people theories and builds
Yeah, just started yesterday I'm playing as a Nightblade and I'm so used to other games where I played as a jack of all trades. So at level 14 I'm at 2 magicka, and 6 health and stamina.
I've played this game for years, following anyone else's builds can cause more issues for you than it solves. The thing in ESO is that builds can be HIGHLY customized around each person's playstyle and wants/needs. Also, f it's a content creator's builds many times those folks have a set group the play with that they build around that group's dynamics.
I followed someone's build one time it didn't work for me why that person had over 1000 champ points. Here I am at 200 at the time thinking I can do what they do.
That's the worst advice perfect for her yes always too convoluted not to follow a build guide and I don't want to be carrying these 160CP characters thru vets. I hit 160 last Sunday and on a week I am 310 playing for the first time. Build guides let me find what gear I had to grind for know what craftable sets I needed and inspired me to join a guild to get said crafted sets.
I'm definitely feeling like I leveled too fast. I got to 25 by clearing Western Skyrim and most of Deshaan, but then I worked up the nerve to do a random dungeon and never looked back. I was getting 1-2 levels with just that quest every day. I do have a bunch of skillpoints though as I'm a Skyshard hunter. My biggest problem now, is when I do a random dungeon, I'm getting stuff like Scalecaller Peak and White Gold Tower which I think are Veteran dungeons, and I'm clearly not ready for those yet. There doesn't seem to be much level 50 gear that's under 160 CP available, unless you queue specifically for it.
Yup I have made all of those mistakes, and I still have a hard time with magicka regen on my dps, I'm not very good at weaving yet. This game feels like school more than any other game that I've ever played. But I am determined to become a solid player regardless of the infuriating issues that I struggle with. These videos have helped me a lot. Thanks!
heard about that mount upgrade thing way too late, it was painfully slow and i dont think the game told me at some point fortunately i didnt rush through and discovered it myself about half way through
I was very confused re guilds, as I didn't know there were two different kinds. There's the Mages Guild and the Fighters Guild which are built into the game, and new players should join both for the "intimidating presence" and the "persuasive will" skills that will make your interactions with NPCs easier. Same with the other NPC-run guilds- Undaunted, Dark Brotherhood, Thieves Guild etc. These are all worthwhile and make your game playing richer. Then there are the player-run guilds which are entirely different. There are hundreds of these, and you can be a member of 5, so choose as best as you can. They are a great way to meet other players, as they are run by real people who want to share fun in the game and grow communities. These guilds can have a variety of foci, such as trading guilds (who may have an NPC trader somewhere inworld where you can buy and sell with other players), trial and dungeon guilds (who meet to do dungeons, or 12-player trials and are immense fun), roleplay guilds (who meet to use ESO as a home for their rp scenarios), decorating guilds ( whose members love to buy, decorate and visit homes), or just plain ol social guilds. Many guilds will have competitions and games as well as guild homes, and are well worth joining.
I think I got lucky on my first character. Didn’t follow a guide and it turned out to be a very op dps build. I’ve been using the character for 362 hours, Level 403 now. Need to make a second character eventually.
lol i have 1300hrs only beeing cp 420 but i have to say i level´d like 10 chars to 50 that i deleted just cause i enjoyed to lvl them up and i have 10 chars that are 50 actually for the moment xD
Something to pay attention to with transmute crystals, reconstruction can potentially cost less and always returns 25 crystals when you decon while transmuting doesn't return any upon deconstruction.
Congratulations you won my monthly giveaway.💝💝💝💝 My fan's are my biggest motivation that's why I'm doing everything to make them happy.......................
This game is sooo good. I just got it 4 days ago.. I also love taking in the scenery around me while on my way to another quest, to me the world is just so magical.
This might just be me but when I level a character I only wear 1 of the preferred armor weight and 3 of each for the other 2 in order to level them as high as possible and then when I wear my leveled gear it rapidly catches up the preferred weight and the others are already close to max
Brah I can’t believe how expensive this game is I just got the greymore edition for $80 and spent $60 on crown coins but ended up not getting what I wanted lmao definitely need to do more research
So let's see what I did 1. Did not power lvl to v14 "but I 100% agree with you I tell people that all the time as well" 2. When I first started I forgot to research anything for the first 6 months 🤦♂️, but never forgot about my mount 3. I learned real fast about leveling skills and skill lines just not sure how fast I figured it out 🤷♂️ 4. I still have a full set of light, medium, heavy of training gear from lvl 10, 20, 30, 40 in all legendary HAHA 😄 5. Yep missed out and did not grab fighters guild, mage or undaunted till I hit v5 🤦♂️
I power leveled my second character for PvP purposes. Once I hit level 50 I played PvP like 3 days and then didn't play for over a year. I just came back recently. Don't do it
Well, that's a new players goal to be honest... just do all the base game storylines and base zones and level to 50 160CP at your own pace while you enjoy the great storytelling of the game... that's it... welcome to ESO... if you think the great combat system or the amazing mechanics will keep you in this game then you'll be leaving it very soon... I can name tons of MMOs that do combat better... but in terms of immersion and story telling ESO is at the top of the top... So yeah... just go through the game slowly and enjoy it cause you only play through a great story for the first time once... power leveling is the best way to hate this game...
@@sportschool3537 indeed. I hate grinding in MMOs, i dont like multiplayer games in general. ESO feels like a singleplayer game that you can also play in multiplayer if you want. The storylines are all awesome and immersive, it all looks fantastic, diverse and grand and never it falls into the pit of making you endlessly, boringly grind for new powers, new content or achievements, i mean you can, if you want, but the great thing is that you don't have to and still play countless hours enjoying it.
I am a new player and that's the line to head for. So as a new player telling me what to hold till then to ensure I don't lose resources is really helpful. So in short, get out your mums basement, stop complaining, and maybe do something helpful like this content creature
Small tip: For everyone who's having to buy mount speed the slow way: Do some PvP and get Rapid Maneuver. I'm not kidding. This thing is mandatory for you to travel on a feasible fashion. Having 30% movespeed for 30s is literally 30 days of your grinding. Just get to Assault rank 5 and get RM. You won't regret it.
hey, I'm really new to ESO since I got started yesterday but I'm struggling on how to repair my weapon including my gear as well. but once I went to the merchant to see if she could repair it, I couldn't find my bow to repair it since it is so close to being broken. I don't even know what to do since I don't wanna lose my weapon.
research divines/sturdy/infused etc first and save the crappy ones for last so at least you can transmute your gear. It's what I did on my alt account I didn't need to learn the other stuff since I know a crafter (my main account) so if you have a friend just get the good stuff first and you're set for research lol.
I'd add if it's your first character or you want to run multiple alts, add training. Also research one slot for each item type first, then 2 slots etc as the time cost of researching increases dramatically the more traits you have researched. And don't be afraid to put a load of skill points into research so you can research multiple items as you can easily respec your character's skills if you need to.
After about four hours of playing Warframe and years playing RuneScape and about 100 hours of playing Guild Wars 2, I’m pretty keen on weird interfaces (especially Warframe jfc that was a nightmare for like an hour straight) so I’m glad ESO doesn’t overdo it. I just wish they’d tell you about a few more things. I know for a fact that the devs would get a myriad of things to add to the list for the tutorial if they handed the game to a relative and took notes as they played with no unsolicited guidance from the dev. Imagine Todd Howard himself handing his uncle ESO and needing to take note of things like “mounts are accessible the entire time but they only know of the key to press at level 10” or “What do you mean there’s a stable?” or “why does this base game quest guide me to a dlc traveling point?”
One thing i encountered is that if you have Prologue quests in your Journal you cant progress certain quests lines (I only found this out after i tried to pick up cadwell silver and noticed i had only done half of msq)
Yea for example the Rivenspire zone story pertaining to Ravenwatch Castle cant be progressed if you have the "Ravenwatch Inquiry" in your journal (witch is a know bug), So when i dident see any quests I deleted all prologue quests from my journal (i always pick upp all quests i see) and then i could continue msq in the harborage.
@@andreasgustafsson8023 It's not a bug... Does the concept of progression in a storyline escape you?? You have to do "A" before you do "C" or else things won't make sense... you won't tie the outcome of one quest to the beginning of another... you can't skip to killin the Big Baddie if you haven't got the gun, yet...
Spending my 50 free transmute crystals at level 47 to convert a low level piece of armor to training. SMART! Thankfully the upcoming Marcarth update is supposed to make transmute crystals easier to obtain from PvE and solo content, and also increase the amount you can carry. Although I have no clue how anyone ever has extra transmute crystals just lying around.
pvp gives a lot of transmute crystals. if you are a pvp main you have more than you can use, guaranteed. if you aren't, just do daily random bgs and dungeons and you will have a steady income
#1 I see is not allocating enough health to avoid getting one shot in routine content (especially in dungeons). This is exacerbated because the game scales your health up early on and players don't notice that as they level up and allocate points to stam or magicka their health drops off dramatically, because levelling attributes is really just switching them around... It is really very confusing how this works, because you are at your weakest when you first get to level 50, which is highly unintuitive. As an example: My latest ALT had 28k health (in PvP which has a 5K boost) at level 40 when I made some new crafted gear. But now at level 46 is down to less than 20k with the same gear.
Because ur gear was lower lvl then u if ur gear is the same lvl u shod not see that if ur gear is lower lvl then the stats r lower then if it was ur lvl
I think the biggest mistake I made was going into Elder Scrolls Online expecting it to play like an Elder Scrolls game, instead of playing like an Elder Scrolls-themed version of WoW.
@@MrDwightSchrute Right. Well, except for the level-tiered zones...and the hotbar rotation-spamming combat...and the skill trees...and the rigid healer/tank/dps roles...and the static mobs tethered to anchor points... But yeah...it's nothing like WoW...as long as you ignore all of the ways that it's like WoW.
I spent around 250k gold yesterday on making a catcafé and there's only one cat in it so far oops (cause I don't wanna spend real money for crowns for pets 🙈)

#6 do your daily crafting quests on as many characters as you can stomach. Easy way to make tons of gold and i've gotten characters from level 6 to 50 doing nothing but crafting dailies...lol
I feel there is a caveat to doing daily craft writs. That you MUST go harvesting. At the upper levels you will consume more mats than you gain as rewards. At least for Blacksmith, Woodcrafter, Clothier, and Jeweler. You must harvest alot, deconn alot, and/or buy the mats at a very cheap price in order to make a profit. As a consequence several of my Alts do the daily writ at various levels to minimize the amount of mats I use in any one craft mat level. If this incorrect, please let me know.

What is the mistake you wish you didn’t make? Post below to help a beginner out!
After small talk I found out he wasn't using any food ever and he didnt want to spend those 2 points in undaunted guild line that give you % stats for each piece of diferent EQ :)
Than after i told him what food im using on trials he started to complain that is expensive (Artaeum Pickled Fish Bowl) and he cant afford it.
Buying crown crates
Hoarding sets
@@siwiutki1987 wtf food cheap af lol how is purple tri stat food too expensive for him?
A good one not mentioned is spending gold and how you should only buy bank and inventory space
I couldn’t fit this one, but yes a great point!
That and horse training....
I didn't even know I could do that 😂
I've wasted a lot of gold on teleporting and repairing my gear. I need to stop that.
@@gsxhecklershorties7486 what do you do instead of repairing your gear?
Been playing since 2014 beta. Haven't played more than 4 dungeon runs. I play the game mostly like a single player game. I love spending time walking through the environments, music and just exploring with various characters from different point of views. Such an enjoyable game even solo. I've spent countless hours just leveling my crafting skills and RPing. This game has something for everyone. I don't think there is a right or wrong way to play the game as long as you are having fun.
Wow same here , been playing since 2015, but like 99% of the time nothing but straight pvp, i havent even seen most of the areas XD
Thanks for this mate
Good to know 🤘
WoW rewards neither, not time nor effort currently.
Well detailed and to the point = best comment
What does he mean by rotation?
Not knowing that the main story was not starting with Morrowind
Me too haha
i reached level 950 before i even touched the main story... all this time the zone stories where the main quest in my head

I think I’m smart until I try to play mmorpg’s
I Still think that
@Lisabëth Rosemõon Magical Drawings First, you are not The Owner of The Truth, to Tell What is and What is not, also you can not define What is and What is not important based on Your opinion alone
Inteligence is your Capacity to learn fast and to learn more, for example a person with less inteligence Could Still learn, but at lower rate, and maybe Have less potential to learn more
What You Said Have nothing to do with Inteligence (Mental Capabilities), that is being Wise not inteligent, anyone Could become wise with time, he Could with time learn How to use his time and Energy, but another person with more inteligence (more mental potential) Could Still not be wise. We see that all The time, with scientist, artists, and other people, even vídeo game Creators, not using your potential in a more "Usefull" Thing dont mean you dont Have Inteligence, Just mean you dont Have interest in that, you dont know What other people Have experienced in their lives, and why that would be important or not, even What you Said being important would not be with we dont lived in a "modern Society", is you lived in a place where your only preocupation is to survive Alone, by hunting, doing your own food, and killing invaders, Just surviving, all you Said would be useless too
@Lisabëth Rosemõon Magical Drawings I Have played video games my entire life, I love them, and they make me inspired, I Train my Body with What I see in Characters From vídeo games, I study real life History and language based on What I see in vídeo games, I even like to write and create New stories inspired by video games
To me vídeo games are no different Then Reading a book, Tolkien for example, was a genious, he also read a Lot of books, and he got inspired by them, Then he created his own World with that
@Lisabëth Rosemõon Magical Drawings I Have learned English alone, without teachers or Having any "classes", all by Just Playing vídeo games, watching Movies, Listening music, and researching
@Lisabëth Rosemõon Magical Drawings but of course most people dont use video games as I that, they Just play, and do anything to "evolve" and even while playing they dont create, they Just Copying What other people created or say, those so called "Meta Slaves", I hate that
I'm pretty sure that mount at +0% speed is actually slower than walking...
I think it is too
My level 15 stamsorc is faster than my level 10 horse...
Yes it is, and the game never says what the stable is for :/
I remember testing this myself by walking up Vivec’s stairs and then riding up them.
All of this is so confusing to me as a completely new player lmao
Same here downloading it atm and just fuck.....
Same :)
I gotta say now that I've been playing it seems super easy if you break it down into sections of things to do like currently im mostly questing within zones to get a feel and then selling stuff im not using later on down the line, eventually ill be focusing on the campaignprobably after stonefalls
Definitely felt the same way first time I tried it when it came out. Didn’t give it enough time. Came back recently and now I’m hooked!

Made this comment before I finished the video lol
ESO is much more about the journey than the destination than other MMOs, and its what I love about it.
Just got the game a couple of days ago. Thank you for the advice

Not knowing about the mount upgrades at the stable until I hit 50. Lol. And not researching early.
That is a big one seriously. That’s why I put it in here. It really helps you later
100% agreed
I knew about the mount training but completely forgot about it after a very long break from the game. I'm literally kicking myself right now for having forgotten something so simple.
This is by far the best ESO channel on TH-cam. Always straight to the point, teaching, guiding, etc. I really appreciate your work buddy, stay like this and thank you so much :)
Thank you so much!

Sometimes its nice to help people out :)
@@Filthyanimal9 I have asked for advice in there a few times and the leader offered to come to me and all help and all sorts (needed to re-do my skills and there isn't a shrine in Daggerfall) so I know they're okay with asking for advice.

But I do like that you can have more than one guild, so I will take your advice and try and find one more catered to new players. Even though now I'm CP 281 so I'm gonna look really foolish asking newb stuff lol...

Socialize. Making friends is the REAL currency in this game and any other MMO for that matter.
Join guilds, talk to people, join in on all sorts of activities. Jump in. Help out.
Speak up, let them know what you want to do, what you need help with.
More experienced players will teach you everything you need to know!
(and there is a lot to learn)
When I first started playing ESO it was a dream come true.
Good points!
Yes exactly
Idk, animation cancelling sounds like a bug that ZoS were just like ahh we'll spin it as something that is skillful. Idk, I like to see my abilities or what's the point
@@HashiMakesMusic I've been saying this for years and all the vets froth at the bit every time I mention light attack weaving as an exploit not a mechanic that should've been removed years ago.
@@Supadrumma441 I think it wad an accidentdental addition to the game, but it is actually great for the game. They ended up keeping it which makes the game feel more fluent and fast paced

Mistakes
1)Powerleveling
2)Not Researching/Mount Upgrades
3)Setting up Skill Bar, Attributes, EXP
4)Upgrading items too soon or too much
5)Not unlocking guild lines, opening undaunted chests before CP 160
My biggest mistake was not giving this game the time it deserves. I am going back with ESO plus, this time I am coming to stay and enjoy!
How's it going my friend?

another tip would be to do crafting daylies. Solid income every day + rare mats and xp
Yea, I figured that one by myself lol, rly good income.
I'm only 3 weeks in but the only thing I've crafted was a set of iron gear and daggers for my misses when she started. Is it worth pursuing?
@@OfficialFingazMC yes very much so, all crafting is VERY beneficial
Just doesn't feel worth it.
welcome to mmo
stop trying to grind...just have fun lvls will come
Yeah, feel this with a lot of multiplayer games tbh. I’ve been playing it with my dad and we just do quests, and have fun. Grinding this much is completely pointless!
@@RidPhanto That sounds like fun. Yea, grinding just to be "the best" seems overkill and a waste of time.
Did the same mate, feel your pain :)
ESO is so intimidating at first
Thanks for all valuable information. It's been about 4 years since I've touched this game. Stoked to dive back into it.
Yes... I played for over 1000 CP... and i am really wondering why they still didnt change that
That's absolutely *not* a good idea... Are you're Provisioning skills account-wide or character-bound?? How about your ability to turn invisible, or run while being stealthed?? These are things that *characters* learn, just like individual riding skills....
@@tazzeightsixfour9721 Slippery slope doesn't apply when it makes people take one whole fucking day to train.
@@TheSpiritsLease Where did I say slippery slope?? And since when is a day only 20 hours?? Is an effing day shorter than a regular day?? So if your sister raises her riding skill on her character, your character should get credit?? You all shouldn't be sharing an account, anyway... ROFL
OMG!! I also quit it for an year for same reason and now I'm learning and loving it! Thanks for the videos
Great vid. 👍
Hey just keep learning! That’s the best thing to do!
Doesn't really matter if you abandon story quests, because you can continue where you left off in the quest chain later and will only lose a small amount of progress on the current quest if you started it. The story lines are basically long chains of short quests strung together and eso keeps your place.
Bro 60 speed 30 stam thats 3 months playtime and your only 210 cp? Your doing something wrong
@@asraf0205 Not everyone is in a tearing rush to get to max level. Rushers are generally toxic, because they are in too much of a hurry to even be civil. And it is a rotten way to play games that leads to quick burnout.
300CP and I still didn’t even didn’t know what a build was and rotation. 3 months later after working it out completed VMA.
It all comes in time.
Thank you!
Yes great points!
I can't tell you how many monster sets I've bought from the Golden Vendor. If new players want them, it's an easier way to get them.
@@dread-cthulu I agree in 100%
Yeah I do that all the time.
It’s seriously so helpful!

👊
He's saying don't only focus on leveling, in other words, don't rush everything and burn yourself out, not avoiding leveling
==Warning: Long comment ahead.==
I apologize for the length of this comment.t I edited every time a new topic came up in the video that I had something that I wanted to share about my own personal experience.
I'm aware that it's been 3 years since you uploaded the video, but as a new player it is clear to me that these tips are very much still viable and very useful! ... Once again, Thank you!
The mistake that i made, i have no clue what is the main story line is. and how to get them. And 2nd, I combine Stamina and Magika 50-50. And 3rd, i am lost with all the numbers.
great guide. didnt know i could stack a skill in my bar to level it up faster
Honestly I really enjoy watching your videos and hearing you perfectly explain it.
Is there a setting somewhere that filters treasure/rewards for class? I run a duel-wielding necromancer and keep getting great swords and hvy armor for rewards!! Very frustrating.
No, you can use anything so you drop everything.
Great video, thanks for the help. Only been playing for 3 months and love all the tips.
Anytime!
My 2 biggest mistakes, when i started eso, were 1st: I compared eso to single player elder scrolls and got disappointed by the lack of immersion
2nd: I started training two types of weapon (for front and back bar) yet after 100 hours of playing
Bonus-mistake: i thought that dungeons are endgame content and i started dealing with them not before i reached cp 200 or something like that.
@@DragonessYT I just made a nightmare first time playing, do u have the skills all maxed out?
Thank you! 🙏 just started this game yesterday and it was extremely overwhelming but even so I’m having fun
Thanks!
heard about that mount upgrade thing way too late, it was painfully slow and i dont think the game told me at some point
fortunately i didnt rush through and discovered it myself about half way through
It's free on PlayStation 😂
I just joined your discord , thank you for the information! I’m new to ESO, watching your videos will def help
This was actually helpful and I’ve been playing this game for years.
Lol, I never even use my mount. I just upgrade carry capacity because that is waaay more convenient than a faster horse.
That’s big brain
Does that get super expensive to do later on? I’ve just started and was thinking of doing that instead of getting eso+
Shouldn't you increase your Stamina concurrently so that you can sprint for a greater period of time with that increased carrying capacity??
Should you craft with your main or should you make an alt only for crafting and one for gathering?

@@brandonburt4244 it’s awesome, I had it installed back in s3 but didn’t play much. But now I’m waiting for the split and I’m aiming for diamond 🤙🏻
Brah I can’t believe how expensive this game is I just got the greymore edition for $80 and spent $60 on crown coins but ended up not getting what I wanted lmao definitely need to do more research
cost me $20 to download on my computer
So let's see what I did
1. Did not power lvl to v14 "but I 100% agree with you I tell people that all the time as well"
2. When I first started I forgot to research anything for the first 6 months 🤦♂️, but never forgot about my mount
3. I learned real fast about leveling skills and skill lines just not sure how fast I figured it out 🤷♂️
4. I still have a full set of light, medium, heavy of training gear from lvl 10, 20, 30, 40 in all legendary HAHA 😄
5. Yep missed out and did not grab fighters guild, mage or undaunted till I hit v5 🤦♂️
I power leveled my second character for PvP purposes. Once I hit level 50 I played PvP like 3 days and then didn't play for over a year. I just came back recently. Don't do it
Dont come back?
Very fun and helpful video, subbed. Thanks for the time and in depth knowledge you put in this video, it was MUCH appreciated.
New player guide: *talks about 160CP all the time*
Well, that's a new players goal to be honest... just do all the base game storylines and base zones and level to 50 160CP at your own pace while you enjoy the great storytelling of the game... that's it... welcome to ESO... if you think the great combat system or the amazing mechanics will keep you in this game then you'll be leaving it very soon...
He's literally telling you not to waste mats before you hit cp160. You're welcome.
Just started ESO and these guides are really helpful. Still deciding on which class to go for!
I got yelled at in a dungeon last night because I kept using Pierce Armour and taunting the boss without realizing it. So don't do that, lol.
Lol
lol I did that as well back in the day. Don't feel bad. At least someone told you.
Lol, we've all been there. Like messing with the tank's plans by using a frost staff.
i remember making a full set of iron armor, next few hours that armor was useless.
Small tip:
For everyone who's having to buy mount speed the slow way: Do some PvP and get Rapid Maneuver.
You don't need to repair weapons, most likely you are seeing the enchantment going down and just need to refill it with a soul gem
If you have any other questions we would be happy to answer, the game can be very confusing to get into. What kind of build are you going for ?
research divines/sturdy/infused etc first and save the crappy ones for last so at least you can transmute your gear. It's what I did on my alt account I didn't need to learn the other stuff since I know a crafter (my main account) so if you have a friend just get the good stuff first and you're set for research lol.
Great tip
Good times :))))
I got used to those interfaces but it took me long time or some mods :)
I played for months without realizing you could join mages guild and fighters guild at same time. Silly me thinking RPGs still had choices.
Well if you are a battle mage both could be useful to you
One thing i encountered is that if you have Prologue quests in your Journal you cant progress certain quests lines (I only found this out after i tried to pick up cadwell silver and noticed i had only done half of msq)
Oh dang! Really?
Instructions unclear, failed to name character.
During the research traits segment, is that a player home that is the background footage? and if so what one is it
Spending my 50 free transmute crystals at level 47 to convert a low level piece of armor to training.
That’s a good point
Because ur gear was lower lvl then u if ur gear is the same lvl u shod not see that if ur gear is lower lvl then the stats r lower then if it was ur lvl
I think the biggest mistake I made was going into Elder Scrolls Online expecting it to play like an Elder Scrolls game, instead of playing like an Elder Scrolls-themed version of WoW.
are you kidding? It’s nothing like wow
@@MrDwightSchrute
Right.
@@thefaithslayer2553 Level-tiered zones? Lol!
Wow is tab targeting, eso is action combat.
I definitely power leveled my first character and burned out. I'm coming back years later, but I don't think I'll go so hard.
LOL I am in the same boat. Got 160 CL but rerolling a new clsas now to learn the game. This video was great thank you!
Been playing since 2016 and I still have gold spending problems lol
Don’t we all
@@Adam_Lutz i spent too much on motifs and sets lol
I spent around 250k gold yesterday on making a catcafé and there's only one cat in it so far oops (cause I don't wanna spend real money for crowns for pets 🙈)
@@Kulri2009 Catcafes are very important. Keep going.
Recently 100% Skyrim for the third time. I thought I’d be able to figure this game out. I was wrong

Well, you forgot to mention you should only spend your cash on fashion. How are you suppose to reach RP endgame?
I love the cat @6:00 almost looks like an ewok!

#6 do your daily crafting quests on as many characters as you can stomach. Easy way to make tons of gold and i've gotten characters from level 6 to 50 doing nothing but crafting dailies...lol
This is correct
@StonedViper do blacksmithing writs give 1 lvl towards blacksmithing?
I feel there is a caveat to doing daily craft writs. That you MUST go harvesting. At the upper levels you will consume more mats than you gain as rewards. At least for Blacksmith, Woodcrafter, Clothier, and Jeweler. You must harvest alot, deconn alot, and/or buy the mats at a very cheap price in order to make a profit. As a consequence several of my Alts do the daily writ at various levels to minimize the amount of mats I use in any one craft mat level. If this incorrect, please let me know.
Almost cp500 and have never done a crafting writ 😔
@@RobertPage1968 hey start now
