      I don't think this is exactly a "midgame" topic, as I think it's something you can do at any time from what I've heard/read, but I would appreciate a video about Cyrodiil & Imperial City - what to do, where to start, what PvE you can do there (because somehow I read that there is PvE in either one?) and I personally am really confused about the whole thing. I don't understand whether I need a premade group for it, or even a guild, or can I go in solo!?

    • @adamantineshining
      @adamantineshining 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@_claymore you can go in solo! imperial city has pve questline marked with the familiar zone quest marker. do-able solo, but it happens within a pvp zone so you will get killed regularly by other players

      crafting is definitely on my list. If you follow beginner guides, there are no points to go towards crafting. Even the follow on guides fro after lvl50 do not say how to start. If you want to be able to craft your own gear, you kinda need to start researching early, lest all 8 chests you can buy end up full of 'junk'. Then there is the best ways to collect materials etc.

    • @ryanhoyle1166
      @ryanhoyle1166 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Leveraging quick slots. What’s best/do you usually put there?
      Self-crafting gear, when it’s a good idea & is it worth it while leveling alts or a waste of time? If so, what would you self-craft: armor, weapons, glyphs (recommended?), alchs, provisions?
      The “how to maximize your time online” is helpful. Finding a group quickly and avoid negative groups?
      ^ some ideas that I’d find helpful. Not that any is expected or necessary. Thanks again for all you’re doing!

      Same here man, I feel like when I join any guild my knowledge would be more detrimental than well off being as shy. I don’t even know where to begin, like I have champions build don’t get me wrong, but I’m just a solo story player. I’d love to have a group that loved tackling story content but I understand the appeal of competition.

      All I did was join 5 random ones. Then … deleted those because they wanted a lot of just donations and random things. The best thing you can do is join random ones and start talking to people. My group found a guild on accident when we were looking for help on a dungeon and this guy hopped in to help and now we’re in his guild and everyone in the guild is so nice!

    I'm a little over cp 400 mostly from just questing and I have naturally done most of these things but I will be honest, I've been afraid to get into dungeons and trials. I've done some normal dungeons with friends which was really fun but I'm afraid to do them with randos and I've never done trials. I love doing quests and I'm still not done completely all the zones but I do want to start branching out more and it's scary to try and do that (at least for me because I'm a very introverted person)

      Why are you afraid? It's not like you will drop gear if you die.
      Now with the late great "Asherons Call " MMO you could lose your gear if you die.
      This game should install that mechanism. That would be a reason to be afraid of dieing.

I have decided that i will create 2 separate bars - one for 3 or less foes, and the other for larger groups. I gave up on build guides due to lack of understanding of the mechanics behind them, as well as my dexterity from medical issues.

I didn't know how to get into dungeons and trials.
    If I had known this ahead of time, I would have had way more fun. But, now I'm starting over on console because my computer died. I got to CP80 within a week casually. I have my main skills and passives unlocked and I am destroying everything. Having fun too.

    I started elder scrolls online a week ago and I already hit 160. I'm already decked out in all purple gear. I'm also in some great guilds. I play maybe 20-40 hours a week. I started off with necrom deluxe collection and got eso plus. I blazed through 15 or more xp scrolls. I had lots of them, 50s 100s and 150s. I used the 50s till level 30 then i started using 100s till i ran out and started using 50s again. Then at 40 - cp 10 i started using tthe 150s. At cp 70 something i got 2 more 150s and blazed through random daily dungeons only logging in for dailies. If you log out after your daily, the xp scroll stays with you. Login, pop a xp scroll, do dailies, log out rinse repeat. Unless you got friends who want to carry you, dont waste your scrolls.

    Thanks for the video! Great information! I am CP1300 and still feel like a mid-game player. I've only done 3 out of all the trials in the game. I've done almost none of the DLC dungeons, not even on normal. I've probably done about half of the base game dungeons on normal and there are half a dozen (maybe) that I can solo. On veteran, I've only done a few dungeons. Vet hard mode, I think I've done two but couldn't tell you which ones they were. I never remember mechanics in any of the dungeons when I go into them.
    I'm curious as to why you didn't mention any of the arenas or solo activities. They are helpful for leveling and Maelstrom weapons are highly valued. I've only done Maelstrom on normal and have never done Vateshran at all. I found Blackrose Prison to be long, tedious,and not really fun. But I enjoy Dragonstar, and again some of the weapons from Dragonstar are popular in builds.
    I'm really not very sociable and tend to play at off hours when there aren't many of my guild mates online. That's why I haven't done many dungeons or trials and why, skill wise, I'm still a mid-game player.
    Thanks again for the great information!

    i really dont understand why some or even "many" people dont know what to do, once they reach level 50. I am almost level 50 now and i have explored only 1 region to 100%. There is so many stuff remaining, what i can do with my character. I think most people with this "problem" are not used to play rpg games in singleplayer. Because there, you dont ask yourself "what should i do now?". You just enjoy the game and the quests and dont care about your level or what you should do next. Just enjoy the lore people... it is a great game, damn it.

    You definitely don't need max gear for trials, I did my first trial at level 29 not cp 29, level 29. Using the random mismatched combination of gear I had at the time.

    Point of clarification; Any new character created has access to all your cp points. Once any new character reaches 50, any level past that adds to the pool.

    • @deklassified
      @deklassified 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      you mean like only your highest cp toon gets the points still thought not youre cp 600 and your cp 250 toon hits 251 and get s a champion point, right? to clarify that: cp 600 has 200 for each tree but if youre cp250 toon gains a lvl to cp251 they dont get to have access to 601 champion points

  • @Ludak021

    There is nothing to do, that I haven't already done to death. Delves become trivial after you gear up at CP 160, most normal dungeons can be done solo, and are a joke in groups by CP 250, veteran dungeons are ok difficulty wise but rewards are all the same (yes, even when done as "hard" ie all goals accomplished ). Trials are boring, they are just longer dungeons.
    So you basically create a new charter and level it up, rinse and repeat.
    I am CP ~450 atm, I almost bought the high isle, glad I didn't. I am going to move on.
    edit: to clarify for people just stating: what you do is daily Undaunted dungeons and one delve. That's 4 things to do. Then you are done. You can do daily guild missions that are easy and boring and you can craft if you want to do that. That's that. Ah yes, one daily random dungeon with slightly more rich useless rewards.That's end game. Only thing that progresses is your CP level, and that isn't fun until CP 900, and that's months of doing things I listed above. In the end, even that just makes content even trivial. This "CP1600" could be compressed into time it takes you to get to CP 500, but no, like that edge near the path that stops you from moving, this is also done to make game "last longer"

    What about after 300? I’m level 330 and while I’m still having a blast with the game, what should I primarily be focusing on? I’m currently building sets (still for higher quality mothers sorrow items and shroud of the Lich as I’ve heard those are a good combo for magicka dps builds) but other than that, I’m questing. Is there anything else i should be doing?
    I’ve also started to build my crafting, but I’m finding it hard to find necessary supplies.

    I’m CP1700+ I’ve got there by questing and dungeons and less then 5 trials. If I played the game properly instead of stuffing around like spending 2 hrs chest farming etc I’m sure I’d be close to Cp2000 by now.
    I’m not real social and tend to make another character when I’m bored or see someone or class just smash through a dungeon.
    I have no real purpose and goal in ESO. This was all said before I even watched this video. Hope it helps me be more focused.

    Silly question, when you are talking about the beginning armor sets to start to learn rotations, what does do you mean when you say, "It takes six traits to craft them."? You have to have 6 specific traits researched per piece?

    I quit a year ago or so and just came back....
    My biggest problem that's already showing itself on a new level 22ish character is that everything is either trivially easy or quite hard.
    Solo questing I just go around destroying everything but then I go after an overland boss and he like two shots me.
    I can build to be more tanky on the boss but that feels so pointless for the other 95% of the game.
    I wish all non boss mobs were like twice as hard.. maybe double their hp and give them like a 15% damage boost.

    I would say that vet trials are the very end of the mid game and the very beginning of the end game. It takes barely anything to complete vet crags, vSS, vAS and vCR, etc. trifectas and score pushing are really the end of the end game

    Midgame : 160cp to 1600+cp. The time you cap the gear is the start and the time you fill all cp passives ends midgame. After 1600+ you should have most of the gear and game experience to tackle endgame content like trifecta runs, prog groups and all these things. Don't forget that the XP u need to level is reduced after the cp rework so people that are now 1200cp play like the are 175cp in the old system (yes that bad). So 300 cp is too low to consider 301 end game. Of course there are people 3000cp that are trash and 250cp that play godly.

    Nice to list set that be good for certain roles - but wouldn't it be more helpfulf why it is recommended ? why certain stats be important there? so if new sets get out or you find others to decide which be good for you or maybe better then?
    what set capabilites should one look for?, What to combine with it?

    Great guide, but like your's and others, especially your beginner guides I follow so far and (Insert record player arm slip, noise) stop. I mean, EVERYTHING revolves around gear. Which I don't have, and I dont have the 50 years of waiting for fricking research in every "beginner" set crafting station I need. I literally have what I pick up off the ground. And the 30k gold I made on the guild store went into respecting my char to be able to do enchanting only to find out the beginner guide has lvl 10 power enchanting, and I'm on 5 so (insert record player arm slip, noise......again). Too many assumptions that beginners have all these things already. And no, I cant keep asking guild for this and that. I dont want to be that guy.

      There are plenty of really good sets you can get for magicka or stamina characters just by doing overland content. To be fair, you don't need to worry about gear sets until you're CP160 (level cap). Also, you can respec your characters for free using the armory station. Place it in your home, there's free inn rooms you can get in many major cities, and equip an empty build. Voila! Free respec anytime you want. Don't feel bad about asking guildies for help with crafting, that's what guilds are for. :) I wish you luck in your ESO journey.

I just returned and heard about it but not what is and isnt capable with it. i'd love my new magplar to have the ability to tank also bc ill fly through the magplar build since it was my main on xbox i know it already but a stamplar has always been a build i want without having to make whole new toon just for it.
