  • During this Kindness to Self mindfulness meditation you will direct loving kindness toward yourself. Traditionally self kindness and compassion practices start with yourself because without loving yourself it can very difficult to love others. During this meditation you will internally recite a number of key phrases and allow the feelings to permeate your body and mind.
When you feel you have established a strong sense of lovingkindness for yourself, you can then expand this meditation to include others such as family, friends or co-workers.

Thanks for this, Teresa. This is an interesting meditation, and some of the phrases resonated with me more than others did. I’ll come back to this in the future 👍🏼

Thank you Lewis, I felt much lighter, I noticed some resistance arise but I look forward to getting used to kindness and embracing it within myself and toward others. I am so grateful that you did this :)
