It's a pity you didn't weigh your neatly-trimmed gold fingers to be able to compare the yield to other refiners' yields.
Estimating your neatly-trimmes gold finger equivalent weight at 400g and knowing you had approx. 500g of chips, you should have made approx. 2,5g of gold total.
So perhaps you did lose gold somewhere in the process ?
