It is best practice to never hold a beaker from the top, if you do use two hand one at the top and one at the bottom. Beakers have been know to break when holds from the top only

Sometimes it's easier or we all mistakes for whatever reason, I did it randomly when refining, I'm unsure why this happens, sreetips did it in one of his videos recently but him being anal he pointed it out after he did it or while I forget. Urea is to neutralize the nitric acid in the solution; SMB precipitates the gold from solution.

I read somewhere each of those CPUs contains .3 grams of gold ea so if that's true shouldn't the yield be 13.5 grams?

Nope, only 0.1g for those ones. Maybe you have read about the Pentium with the golden top and bottom (Pentium P5), which contains about 0.35g of gold per piece. Hope I could help.
