For those curious, the best foods in Skyrim Survival Mode are Seared Slaughterfish and Salmon Steak, each satisfying the second highest amount of hunger (after cooked beef and most soups) but only weighing 0.1kg
It's funny hearing him talk about the TH-cam views knowing that I watch the vods instead of main channel content so I instinctively checked the vod views rather than main channel. It's the only channel I watch vods for and I do actually rewatch them from time to time.

The best way to judge this challenge is like a Skyrim step counter. Fewest steps to reach all 9 cities. That way you reward visiting the closest doors rather than walking, and strategize which rooms to abandon at their entrances.
This would be an interesting mod if it was purely permadeath. The only rule is you can't go back from the door you came from (unless you dead end). It'll be hard to survive random dungeon room to random dungeon room.

Wow two jump scares in a row through two doors around 2:15:00 through 2:19:00 really freaked me out. I have never been in that dungeon he got teleported to and the way he was talking and then the way the game told him what to do freaked me out. Also the way got got looped back to the same door in Riften after going through a dungeon earlier in the stream was INSANELY hilarious. I'm invested in this mod! It's very intriguing!
The disembodied voice in the dwemer ruins is a quest added by the dawnguard dlc. Its nowheres near nor connected to markarth. Its south past the orc stronghold in the reach. Long but cool quest line

Doug uses an eclectic collection of different soundtracks. He uses a lot of tracks from like Xenoblade, Guilty Gear, and Mario Galaxy. While most of them aren't available on Spotify or other music services, they're all available to stream just from people's reuploads on TH-cam.

I'm assuming followers don't get randomized doors so you keep leaving him and he is doing his best to keep up , when you go through full loading doors that naturally teleport him he is there instantly otherwise gotta run all the way
it was boiled eggs for me as a kid. my motivation was beating my two sisters and establishing dominance. the reason it was boiled eggs was so if we didn't find some and my parents forgot where they hid them they'd just get eaten by an animal. also we colored the eggs ourselves beforehand. do kinda wish it was candy though. I hated boiled eggs as a kid

okay stenvar disappears because the door mod only effects you doug, the npcs go to the real locations the doors lead to pre scramble, or your have markarth guards in some cave somewhere.
at this point I actually just want to see Doug play Skyrim seriously and *at least* finish the main questline. the amount of "ohhhhhhhhh" moments from him as he figures out something that's been bugging him for ages, that nearly everyone else knows, would be amazing. I'd ask for the thieves, assassins, mages and DLC quests as well but that would just be pushing it.
5:45:40 I think I saw a video where you drove around GTA with voice commands when it came out; I thought it was funny, but I didn't stay. It wasn't until several months ago where I saw some VS chat with AI stories that I found you again, the energy that time for some reason made me watch more and really appreciate the rest of your content, now I'm just watching VODs... maybe one day I'll catch a stream.
