Miss Tia's Best Buddy Joins Her In The Big House

I'm pretty happy how things have gone this afternoon for Miss Tia and the addition of her favourite fluffy toy has certainly helped her to settle in.
You may notice the bright pink collar Tia is wearing and this is an identification collar but only for her time in care.
As I like to recycle, she has a different name on her collar but is all immaterial as I record the colour and name on the collar on her in care sheet so I can find her when I need to.
Once in creche, her collar is removed and she will receive a microchip.

Great that the process is doing all that is possible to return her to the wild, no matter the tugs on our heartstrings
She still looks a bit scared, but at least she has her teddy to cling to until she feels more comfortable.

She's lovely! I wish her the very best with this transition 🥰 do the bats like having teddy bears to cling to because it mimics a communal nesting/sleeping/social behavior, or is it sort of just a general comfort thing?
