No worries, mate. For those of us who’ve been following you, we all adore Mina and we’ll be sad to see her go back to her grandmother. She is everything you described and more. She has that charisma and charm that’s hard to explain, but she gets you in the heart. I’m just worrying that she may not want to go back. She knows she’s getting a lot of love from the both of you, the viewers and supporters. We’ll see what happens. Great videos, as always. Cheers and take care.
... so true, and if she is missing anybody, hope she jumps on her bicycle and discovers tnew areas with it arround her grandmas place
Hang on ol mate you do not need to apologize and no one can judge you and your lovely wife mate. Whatever you two decide is your business and just watching these last episodes and having the lovely Mina there has been a bloody blessing. My wife and I take our hats off to you and Nee Nee and the job you have done. So it is your business and young Mina has been so lucky to have you two in her life. Don,t listen to the do gooders you just do what you have to ol mate. We are there on the 29th september to 29th october. Really looking forward to experiencing the Lao life.
Hey Todd, To apologize about the rain as you have shows that you care and want tourists to have a positive experience. I guess all of us who have been following you guys for a very long time
are wondering what will become of Mina. We all have an emotional stake in her as you do. There are no easy solutions. Ultimately ,you will make the right decision. You guys are too good.
Sending much love and affection from a Hot and very Steamy Richmond, Va. 🙏🙏 Jim and Harriet
How fortunate you are to have this bright light drop into your life. Best of all, to share a bit of this joy to the rest of the world. I THANK YOU. Blessings👍🙏
No apologies necessary about coming. Thai girlfriend and I had a blast crossing over into Vientiane at the beginning of August. Went straight up to Vang Vien for 4 days, saw all the lagoons, hiked, dune buggy’d, and explored all over. Was everything you said it would be. As for Mina, you opened Pandora’s box brother. Sending her back now would be devastating for her. You guys need to adopt! She’s lucky to have you both!
I think everyone has grown fond of Mina. You guys seem so happy around her. To bad you could not get her full time. Love the videos
I can’t believe it’s been 10 months since the grandma video
Mina is definitely the star of the show now. Full of vibrance, life and curiosity. What a blessing to have in your life, and for you and Neenee to be in hers.
I'm with you Todd - that new market area behind the walls are terrible. Vientiane definitely needs to look at the footage you shared of the Savannakhet foreshore, and do something similar.
Thank you( ua tsaug) for all that you and your wife do for the Hmong people! And thanks for not spoiling them, only gives when you/ them need it.
Todd, Neenee and Mina, great vlog as always. I am always amazed by how quickly a river can rise even without outflow from dams. However, I think in this case you are probably right that the Chinese dams have been opened. Wow, Mina's English is doing so well, with "Look Papa, it's a market", bless her. Yes Todd, you are right there are many Big C Department stores here in Thailand, selling everything from food , including French Cheeses, to Fridges, lychees to luggage. Thanks for sharing God bless you all 😀❤🙏
Thanks for confirming that Graeme.. hope you're doing well over there mate 😉👍
She's such a lovely little girl and she is going to miss you guys as so will you guys miss her ❤
It's quite common in Laos for families in the provinces, to send their children to their families and relatives in the city so their kids can get a better education.
An ex workmate (a Brit) who's married to a Lao, informally 'adopted' his wife's niece from provincial Vientiane, so the girl can get a better education. She was only around 10 when she arrived in Vientiane and is now about to start university. My friend and his wife are childless. I was talking to his wife before we left Laos. She told me, she has two children, her niece and her husband!
Hahaha I'm pretty sure that's how Neenee feels now 😆
I love your daily life videos
Mina is a good girl.Nice gesture of you and neene
Your a ledgend mate
I lived in Vientiane, Laos before the dams. In the dry season, you can almost walk across to Thailand. During monsoon season, the banks usually overflows. With crazy rains this year, you should be glad there is flood control. A lot for folks in Vientiane are extremely lucky it isn't the past, otherwise you will have a repeat of dramatic flood scenes as seen in other parts of the world.
No need to apologize - 🙏
Flooding is always a concern , nothing can be done , just nature - Mekong looks grand and unique 👍👋🙏😃
your yard is very nice.
What a beautiful video this was with young Mina the star of the show .
🙂🙂Nice..😀
It's still my favourite time of year.
I love the fresh air and greenery.
Wait till march to apologise when we can't breathe because of the pollution.
Rain is a lot better than that.
Todd it’s the rainy season so it going to rain mate
Great vlog as always
Todd, time and time again i've been seeing you're clearly a better person than me, you have all the intellect and patience for the surroundings.
Much appreciate you two, team and always nice to see ya guys.
Cheers TY
Thank you for sharing your amazing video ❤❤❤❤❤❤
it is going to be VERY difficult for Mina to return to her poor village life after life with you and Neenee .. life will be dramatically different for her but good on you for showing her another way
That great that you been showing different parts of laos and what life has to offer I hope she has a great future ❤️🔥 and BTW where I live in the mountain country 2 hour away from Vientiane its been raining for 2 and half weeks lol 😭😭😭 6:41 I been thru this street alot
We’ll be sad when you drop Mina back. Awe she’s so cute & brightens up the day 😊
Keep us up to date with her progress and schooling.
I think there’s gonna be some tears……
I love your Loa rain hail or shine :) been offline since the Lismore floods and missed you guys :) Be careful we went under 20 foot in 25 mins!
I like your Sinulog shirt u wore..I'm from that place CEBU but I'm here n L.A. southern California for the last 40 years..
Sounds like a good way of helping. My parents adopted twins a long time ago then before we left Lao around 1980, her and grand parents wanted her back. After we came back to visit Lao years later they regretted it.
I am going to Miss watching little Mina😥😓 i hope we get to see her next school holidays
What a great channel showing everything the way it is rather than completely edited and whitewashed and yes Mina is the star when I was growing up we called those glass balls on a string clackers I think I had some that were clear glass Until they broke I just gave up on them
Thanks Les 😉
Ok now I understand Your son has a sister your on school holidays and its pissing down with rain.....Awesome vlog mate
Hi mate great work again in WA they were called Klik Klacks Cheers🍻
Hmm ok.. maybe it was just me that called them tukka tuks 😕 lol
I've always loved the rainy season in SE Asia ❤
You should keep her, youre great with her.
Hi mate,we used to call those 2 balls on the strings click clacks.
Hi. I think Big C is selling no alcohol. It would be a shame if they would sell no of the very good Beer Lao in your country !!! Cheers
Still , you should keep Mina
Good Meena is picking up English from you, from what I saw in the video it looks fine people having a nice time, we had floods here in India in several places due to heavy Rains in June there were landslides water gushing in populated areas causing extensive damage to property many houses got swept away couple of people lost their lives but the rainy season is now and the rains have subsided considerably not as it should be maybe the rains in June were excessive of the season
26:00 Everything looks delicious Todd.
Mate back in Melbourne we called them clackers . I love the line …. MINA ? That’s ya sister mate ! 😂 take care
Watching Nina reminds me of my Thai friend's niece who we had with us for a month when she was 15 months. She had lost her father at 3 months.
The attachment never ends.
Thank you ທີ່ເຫັນທັມະຊາດອັນສວຍ ❤️🙏😇
Klackers, the first toy to be outlawed that I'd heard of as a child... Here in the States.
QLD Floods like that Where I lived in Barellan Point My house was 19 meters above the river and the water went ti 22 meters
Due to rain the whole week here in Savannakhet..Todd is there any decent online shopping apps in Laos for electrical goods .. like Lazada and shopee.. Thanks again..
I remember that toy from my childhood. My older sisters had them, they are/were called Knicker-Knockers. They became more of a weapon than a toy. I do recall my sisters smashing their heads with those things many times.🙏👍
14:53 Reminds me of my boss!
The Mekong needs us for thise Chinese dams to go. Back to normality as we were used to. Bushyboy Oz.
Had severe flooding in norway to .. Yup.
is that the three dams todd, because they are talking about slight bows in the dam , think its the lower dam
They need to get with the program mate A
Hi Todd,,,thank you very very much,,and Neenee too,,for doing that with my niece! It definitely touched my heart and made me tear up a bit. Such an unbelievably sweet,,girl. It never ceases to amaze me how she can mimic English. I noticed when she gets a new word she says it over and over. I think shes on to something there. They claim if you repeat something 5 times or more,,its in your mind. Shes doing great. Wish I was there to help her learn too. Its always amazing what water can do,,I'd say you're correct in your assessment of the evil empire,,and the water release. I'd say they are dumping shittons into the rivers,,no warning of course,,since they dont give a half a shit about human life. Hopefully, the rains will calm down. Did you hear about the fire in Hawaii,,on Maui. Biggest loss of life ever,,from a wildfire in U.S. history. Near 100 dead and well over a hundred more missing. Glad I'm not there. My ❤ to you and Neenee and more ❤❤❤❤❤🍪🍪🍪🍪🥭🥥🍑 to Mina. Ttyl,,,Marlon
She is a little bundle of joy. Those clackers (the 2 balls on strings) are all the rage with the young people here in the Philippines too.
19:00 😂😂the lady
good evening all
Mate, Todd…………the little girl loves you guys….. I saw the video when you met her….😢
👍❤️🙏😇
I’m pretty sure the people around that area couldn’t care a less what you think about the wall.
People didn't pay attention to the previous videos.
Did they let people know the dam was going to release so their stuff (or horses!) didn’t get washed away?
Just proves that people don't watch otherwise, they would know the story...
Todd we called them clackers
The world needs smart kids :-)
Mina is going to have a Novocastrian, bogan accent if she’s not careful 😂
... I hope so. There are so many accents that a worse
🍻🇦🇺
I think we used to call them knocking balls Clackers 😂
hey todd better start saving for a car mate for Mena
And all the other girlie stuff. lol
There a video from another youtuber about that rooftop bar. How the Chinese took them out of business by blocking the view.
I worked with children for 20 years. Mental health and probation.
Mina won't understand ya'll abandoning her. You have become the center of her life, her lost Mother and Father. This will be the second huge abandonment in her life.
It will rip her heart.
Trust me on this one. I've seen it many, many times.
The dumping her back at grandma's, a grandma who doesn't really want her...
Lost your channel for a while ,happen by u again So i am All Sub Up Now
Great to have ya back!
Thanks
china can't release water from platinum because the mekong river in china has no platinum unlike laos which have 70 platinum, china only floods in other part of china especially in beijing city....mekong flows into laos , more than 1000 km . unlike China, only no more than 100 km, while this is the source of the Mekon River and therefore the Mekong River is very small
Have you been following what's going on in China When they start releasing water that don't bother telling anyone not even their own people.

The balls we used to call them click clacks
I have one concern. Will Mina be spoiled rotten? 😊
Klackers
mate
we named those plastic balls clackers , yes hurt your wrist, you can show Mina youtube on how to do it
Who gave Mina one of those irritating noise-making toys?!
:-) im a bit disappointed.. what ever i asked i go no answer... the only helpful thing was the buy and sell group viantiane...may take a little time to answer request of followers ;-)
To be honest Hans I'm not sure what you want to know. Your only 2 previous comments talk about getting married to your Lao girlfriend and how to settle down here. The other having to be married to a Lao person to own land here.. So what exactly is your question? If it is "how to settle down here.." it sounds like you're already on your way to doing that by getting married, and that solves your problem of buying land. Yes.. it will be in her name.
Lot of dribble on TH-cam 😂
As you said, "as I explained in a more recent video". Do people need a cartoon to explain everything...jeez!
Bloody hell, warning about the needles next time...
At the end of the day Laos is sadly a commie country and resources get wasted (i.e. the fish bowl). I'll take a look at your Savanakhet vid, been there many times, hope the flooding isn't too bad there)
Thought that lady had a monkey. Oh no just a kid in a bear suit 😅 love you videos mate
