I played this game till I wore out the disc my brother got it and played through once I saw him playing and just wouldn't stop till I got my hands on it aged 12, played it for so many hours and at least 5 playthroughs. My parents had an interesting teachers meeting when they were asked where did he learn the word scalped
Even after 16 years I am still coming back to listen the original theme .. this game really left something in me.. probably the best story ever created in a game.
Always remember son, in this world pure cussedness will carry you farther than a comanche's pony. One of the best game in music, poetry and lifeteaching things
I have so many great memories of this game. I grew up with this game on my PlayStation 2. It's my favorite western games on the PlayStation 2, it's even one of my favorite western games of all time! :)
A game that I was introduced to at the right time in my life, that have been stuck with me ever since. A underapreciated game that was a blueprint of great things to come. I remember the first time I got to play it at the age of fifteen in 06 and how amazing the game felt to me. The following years, that saying 07 and 08 were special to me when it came to this game. I still play it, it's a bit flawed, but the fucking soul this game has is still living. One of my favorite games, it's short, but it still leaves and impact.
now this game this was a real western right here you had the big bad rich boss and a chain of cronies to climb and fight this game deserves a second chance at life
Extremely under rated game. I really wish they’d come out with a sequel or a remake. I had PS2 as a kid, and this along with GTA San Andreas were my go to, favorite games. I never had a PS3, as after my PS2 became obsolete I went the PC gaming route. So I never did get to enjoy Red Dead Redemeption. But I played through it a couple years go on my Xbox, along with RDR2 when it came out on PC. Great games too.. but man I wish they’d give this game a reboot!! It holds a special place in my heart
One of my favorite games, they have an amazing voice actors: Thomas Jane as Colton White Kris Kirstofferson as Ned White Lance Henriksen as Thomas MacGruder Brad Douriff as Reverend Reed Ron Perlman as Mayor Hoodoo Brown Tom Skreitt as Clay Allison And many more

The Real G.O.A.T has been my favorite game since the first time i put the disk in 2009. Amazing that a game from 2005 will put the new red dead to shame still
That's cute, RICARDO MESTRE. I had been completing this game on the highest standard with almost only critical hits - that took time, I can tell - and all ammo after the epic boss fight against T. Magruder. This saved file is unfortunately on my old and broken PC (maybe the long fights in GUN were responsible for that - you never know). Nevertheless I'm not sure enough, to rescue the PC and its files. After all I was really into it and loved the whole ambience of GUN, even the whole game is really small at last in opposite to RDR 2, but I'm not the biggest freak to admitt that I played the cut version of GUN on PC. Have a good one.
Every aspect of this game was so perfect at that time. I am feeling like I am floating in gun world while listening those sounds, and that is perfect, it brings me to another dimension. What hapenned to studio and game developers?
i hope rdr3 can include some of this. its just star cast of voices. the story the outlay, this shoulnt have ever been pushed under the rug, the way it did in 2007,i dont think the skateboarding theme coulnt keep up with this western theme
I liked the music in red dead a lot more. It felt very western and fit the game tonally. Also that track composed by Colin Stetson during the mission where Milton raids the camp hideout after Guarma hits crazy hard.
8:00 there it is, haven't heard this score for 15 years.
It sounds like its straight out of a movie the game is literally the best game ever i'm literally replaying it right now
@@shortrat4462 As you should, it will forever be a classic. It’s criminal we’ve not got a remaster
The nostalgia... Wow...

The "movie" I played as a kid is far better than what I replayed. I think the music is the only thing that held up. What a masterpiece
such an underrated gem

In my headcanon, this takes place in the same universe as Red Dead.....Colton is just an old man by the time you’re playing as Arthur or Marston.
