If you don't mind me observing once these big philharmonic orchestras get hold of original music scores the very essence of the melodies seems to disappear into the ether.
I will find water where there is none, as the sounds of this album wrung and whispered through the morning breeze, the dry sand and sun twitched my nose into a sneeze as I fell on my knees and the earth opened up like a cut that bleeds... 💧water.
I picture a dark stranger and his horse riding across the plains. The burnt orange of the sun as his back. As the dust rises from his passing. The camera pans the horizon as he rides..... Nice soundtrack! Thank you!
What a magnificent find. Part of me wishes there was actually a film to accompany these fantastic pieces of music, but that would probably ruin part of what makes them so special.

@cosmo1eleven855 and TBd68 Good interaction between you two. @TheBushdoctor68 the title also piqued my interest. It's crazy to me how that alone has so much power to draw people in.
The scene where Anne-Marie betrays Blackjack and Harper after the raid breaks my heart every time. The pain in Harper's eyes and the resignation in Blackjack's as he bleeds out says so much about both of them. Definitely one of the best heel-turns in westerns and one of the most complicated villains of the genre.

If you don't mind me observing once these big philharmonic orchestras get hold of original music scores the very essence of the melodies seems to disappear into the ether.
Listening to this as I brainstorm plot lines for my western screenplay. Nice work!
I will find water where there is none, as the sounds of this album wrung and whispered through the morning breeze, the dry sand and sun twitched my nose into a sneeze as I fell on my knees and the earth opened up like a cut that bleeds... 💧water.
wow I remember this OST, the movie was directed by Clint Eastwood, the cast was epic: Ian McShane. Kurt Russell, Scott Eastwood & Sam Elliot.
What movie?
@@marcinszmuro537 the best movie ever
Shame about how the movie portrayed Native Americans.
Makes it a little hard to watch nowadays.
But the music will forever be pure.
That scene of the guy riding in the sunset is one of the best in cinematic history
@@someguycalledCh0wdah best ? his best was the early movie which he wasnt a director yet , man his son need to get better roles
Right in the middle of a fire evacuation in Northern California, August 2023. My friend sent me this. Couldn't be more perfect.
You can tell the inspiration, but you can also tell the originality in the pieces, very nice work!
Absolutely unbelievable. Such beautiful, powerful, and haunting vibes. Big time Morricone.
This is a remarkable piece of art. It certainly belongs in cinema.
First song reminds me of Andromeda (Band from the 60s) Listen to When to Stop sometimes, the last part.
@@gS0yeUE0udz7d thank you for the recommendation. This reminds me of burning man or something. Kind of like a mix between rock and roll, psych rock, and psyche blues
Can’t wait!!!!! Need some new tracks to listen to while I sketch or play video games
I jam along with it on accustic guitar
@@wealldieatthehandsoflovedones that is so cool man
The writer is incredibly talented, this is genuinely better than 90% of the western soundtracks
Mate, let me just express my true admiration for this work. Absolutely amazing, I love to listen to it while I'm working, it is really inspiring and great. Just great!
Using this soundtrack for a cowboy themed D&D campaign I’m running and it’s amazing!
My dad recorded this on filtered HBO in 1987 and he watched it once a month for like 10 years till I bought him it on DVD, that sucker was the 55 dollar directors cut. Thank you for uploading the score, damn I miss him.
I couldn't be more impressed. This is EPIC !!!!
This isn't usually my type of music, but the title piqued my interest and I wasn't disappointed! What a great album!
The video description told me you're a composer doing all kinds of interesting things, and it would be great if we could see you compose one of your tracks. No fancy edits needed, just watching over the shoulder of a master at work would be awesome.
Just a little friendly word correction, it's not "peeked" your interest. It actually 'piqued' your interest. Just for future reference bro.
@@cosmo1eleven855 Good to know, thanks. I assumed it was a nonsensical English expression, but that spelling indicates some history behind it instead.
Can you please tell me the name of the movie

Spoiler alert !🙉
I'm writing a dark sci-fi western and this is absolutely perfect!
Try “space banjo”. You might like it too.
i listen to this every time i write anything and it helps me focus so much! thank you for making it
La música perfecta para cerrar los dos últimos capítulos de una novela. Fácil es, un elixir.

Your guitar work in these tracks speak to my soul. Btw, loved your cover of Vasoline in your other channel. STP is one of my all time favorites!
15 Seconds: Additcted, it's all its got needed. Thanks! Thumbs up.
45% of the way through this mix and I love every single second of it. Thank you 🙏
Outstanding. I'd love to have a vinyl copy of this. Fantastic.
Thanks!
Epic work on this man! Lived Chicago and have many fond musical memories there! Excellent sounds, composing and production 🙏🏽
I recently made this music video in Chicago for a solo project called Dead Man named after my favorite western film ☠️ th-cam.com/video/M1rDhO4Q34U/w-d-xo.htmlsi=kJUJ9kg5oRPtgz3N
This is amazing mix. Good for writing. It goes hard.
For my senior capstone project in college for screenwriting, I intend to write a Western. Will definitely use this for inspiration!!
Listening to this while I'm writing notes for my Sci-Fi Western D&D campaign and we are jamming tf out
You've hit the nail on the head with the vibe and atmosphere 👍
This is one of my favourite Western Playlists of all.
OMG! I remember this movie! This brings back so many memories. What a great story!
One of my favorites, and the only spaghetti western that I’ve ever costarred in with Clint Eastwood and Charles Bronson. Damn, what a good flick! I wish you call could have seen it.
Beats to listen when you're reading Blood Meridian , RIP Cormac McCarthy
Killer book , killer author. Love Cormac, although don't know he died. Try this if you dare ! "Wraiths of a broken land", & "A Congregation of Jackals" both written by S. Craig Zahler ... You wont regret it.
I needed this kind of music and I knew exactly where to come. Love your stuff.
All the tunes are amazing my friend.
Best music to imagine yourself as a protagonist of a western
Learned of this thanks to a friend. Quite the captivating production. Glad I heard it as compared to never at all. Thank you to the musicians and to Steven Lynn for this posting.
