Love the MR mode in Ocean Rift. I LOVE aquariums and to be able to watch youtubevr within the app and convert my rooms into something so beautiful and relaxing, well.....I do see myself spending a lot of time in that.
Also, fun fact: I barely get sick in VR. I can stomach roller coasters and the wildest movements, and in VR have only ever had a bit of nausea after playing many hours of kayaking (that seems to be rough on me). But the passthrough on Quest 3, especially when I have to do a lot with my hands close to my face like in Lego or Track Craft, gets me after 20-30 minutes. Something about the space warping around my hands and in general just induces nausea for me.
I think MR does change the way you play demeo, even though it doesn't change the gameplay itself. Makes it more like an actual table top, letting you eat, drink, interact etc. Likewise 11 Table Tennis and Les Mills Bodycombat. Being able to see your environment lets you play/train harder without worrying about belting anything (or anybody).
Thanks for this video, Matteo! I think MR is gonna be huge because it offers something different than VR. Some people don’t like VR because it feels unsettling to not see what’s really around you and MR solves that. Interacting with your real environment is great. Moving around and ducking behind furniture and walls while NPCs must do the same is different than VR. Spatial Ops (an MR FPS on Sidequest) from studio Resolution Games provides real occlusion because you map your walls and furniture in-app, then add weapons drops and barriers etc. - this is easy and way better to me than how the Q3 scanning currently does it. It’s my favorite multiplayer MR game and last I checked they say they’re building it out for a bigger release.
you can try my ar game! its only available on sidequest though. it is called Lingolu and it is FREE :) don't get confused by the store screenshoots, the game is actually real AR and looks a bit different as the screenshots are from an older vr version.
Please please please please how do you activate the mixed Reality in games. I already did the encounter game thats pre Installed to set it up. But whenever I tried to play a game that has mixed reality. There's no settings and no Explanation
In a little more than one hour, the new MR experience "Astra" will be available, where you (or your kids 😁) can explore the solar system in your own room. That's one I will actually probably try. But yes, those games are usually more "fun experiences to show off for guests" than ones I actually jump into.
For a next video, you might look at Applab Mixed Reality games or maybe do a Best of Applab kinda video. (especially since Meta is going to combine it into the main store)
great video, could you do the same with properly co-op games, its hard to find these on the store, I dont mean multiplayer though, just co-op, like arizona sunshine 1/2
These games seem good for a family with children or if you have a few (young) friends with a Q3. I have neither so I could play the games once or twice at most before deleting them. So far there are very few reasons to buy a Q3, I hope it gets better in the future.
@@Gamingwithmatteo311 One of my favourite exercise apps, FitXR has MR features and I'm curious to see if Beat Saber will make some. Those games, together with some nice movie apps could motivate me to buy a Q3 🙂
I enjoyed all with the exception of Demeter. It's seamed to me they did not put too much effort into it. Badly acted and Low res cheap Assets took me out of the Experience.
Only cool people like, comment, and subscribe!
Guess I ain’t cool(jk)
I’m cool then 😎 🤙
Great video Matteo! Thank you for including Bomber Drone! 🙌
I’m getting a quest 3 at the end of the week, so excited to play bomber drone!!
edit: got it today I’m gonna buy it
Wow I've seen a lot of videos on mixed reality but this one has so many hidden gems, awesome job 👏

Puzzling Places deserves a spot on this list but tbh we are blessed with so many great games at the moment. Good video, subscribed .
best end of the video that i've seen in my life, good video dude, i need a family real quick
Saving this video, Matteo, both because of the great suggestions--and because, "or stepping on that one stray LEGO" made me laugh right out loud. 😂
Nice Matteo you work hard putting out good content. Appreciate you
Demeter looks great! I added it to my wishlist and will pick it up soon.

❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😊
You should give it another go now that the warping is fixed

You can also fly outdoors with bomber drone, which is really great. 👍👏

Still hoping the Kingspray Graffiti guys pick up the game and do some updates including a mixed reality mode, that would be AWESOME!
Laser Limbo looks awesome, now this is how we utilize MR. Finally doesn't feel like just a gimmick anymore.

U need to review ASTRA.. will blow every single one of the games u mentioned away.... its INCREDIBLE
I wish Astra would be okay with smaller rooms.
I liked the couple mixed reality elements in Asgard’s Wrath II. That blew me away.
They were good, but too rare and random. It would be nice if they introduced a mode where you could just enter a MR battle.

ASYRA is freaking AMAZING
@@The_darkside_of Bought it on release. Now I'll only have to find time to play it. 😅

What is that game called? 6:41
I swear no one knows how good MR is in battle talent.
We need more Mixed Reality Games for Quest 3, hope we see some in Semptember's presentation
I would love Yu-Gi-Oh! in augmented reality
i believe that is in the works
That was a nice rock hard video, Matteo
Why does this sound dirty
@@Gamingwithmatteo311 😉
If you have Retroarch floating in the room with you like a vid window in the Reboot tv show, I think that counts as AR.
Yes, it's the same as flat, but is it, tho?
Angry Birds VR deserves a mention here.
It's the same as the vr version so based on my criteria it didn't fit

Good idea
What is the game at 1:18 ?
Eleven table tennis, and Thrill of the fight? Best two mixed reality games IMHO. (Thrill of the fight mixed reality needs beta subscription)
I mentioned why these aren't on guess list
I can recommend Cryptic Cabinet and The Infinite Inside.
Dude I wanted cryptic cabinet on the list but for the life of me I couldn't remember the name and I kept searching the magic wardrobe
@@Gamingwithmatteo311 🤣🤣🤣 I think the Magic Wardrobe is rated R.
Does Moss have MR? Quill is in the thumbnail.
No that's my hopes and dreams on display. I was love to guide quill along my house
And if you're wondering I always watch your videos start to end but I pay for the pro version of youtube so no money off me for ads.

As explained mixed reality is in its infancy

I hoped pillowvr should atleast deserve a mention

Sir CCC, AKA Cool Cool Cool

hi
Hi
I don't like reviews that the games aren't in the quest store😡
Go thing these games are in the quest store except for 1 or 2 exceptions with applab.
so far AR looks meh.
It's in it's infancy for sure right now
