Good Job as always. No One realises exactly how much work that was. You had another camera filming yourself , doing a behind the scenes of filming. I'm sure that took you longer than a day . All the best
Thanks a lot, i really appreciate it 💯. The video took me around 4 days to make. Day 1 - finding the idea, scripting and planning. Day 2 - filming, Day 3 and 4 - editing and publishing. The hardest part, like you mentioned was filming myself while filming myself as I had to setup two cameras and also carry it up the hill. Defintely more time consuming but I still had fun and I knew that my viewers would enjoy a video like this one :)
I have retired and am just getting started in videography as a hobby to enjoy during retirement. Your instruction and videos are absolutely excellent! Thank you for the time you take to share your knowledge with us. I look forward to taking your courses and your TH-cam instruction.
I really appreciate the work you put into this. Other youtubers are so fast paced and sometimes it gets overwhelming, but you explained everything in a thoroughly and calmly manner. Than you so much, truly. Your hard work did not go unnoticed and I wish you the best in your career.
This is amazing i thought before only those DSLR usedin movies could do perfect cinema shots i was wrong this is incredibly done perfect with smartphone Thnks for the tips we really appreciate it
This is hands down the best video I’ve seen of someone creating a short film. I really appreciate the hard work that you’ve done on not just filming yourself, but also salute the detail to which you have delved into for creating this tutorial. I must say, this is very inspiring. Subscribed for eternity 😊
Good Informative video... please make a series of videos on "how to shoot videos on iphone with cinematic mode, slow motion and time lapse in different areas" .
This is the best tutorial on how to film yourself, so much attention to detail and not rushed at all. Thank you so much for all your work. New sub here ❤
I had been looking for a video for years like this, that went into detail on how to film such a project. Your instructions are close to perfection. I think that I can actually do this now on my iPhone since you described in detail the techniques that need to be used.
Really amazing your tutorial of solo film making and for beginners this is highly useful and informative. I' m a man of overexcitement and I don't think I can put my costly mobile in the middle of the road and wait to see nothing has happened till I return to take it back! Congrats to your effort and I enjoyed it very much! Thanks a million from Kerala, God's own country!❤️
Wow what I loved the most about this video is how higly pedagogical it was. Because of how you showed us the set up-behind the scene for every moment and then directly followed that with the final result for every moment. Instead of clumping the final results in the end as an own section in this video. This was so mych easier to understand and follow for someone so new to this that I really need to see things step by step!
You are really a fantastic artist. Great job. Your short film is highly comparable to what I would find on any TV Channel. I am very impressed with the quality of your work.
Sir it feels so good that i found out your channel 🙂 this is the one im looking for, a youtuber who will share his knowledge on editing using mobile only
Fantastic video! I was researching this topic recently and this video explained it perfectly. More like this would be so awesome. So educational and appreciated. Thanks
This was so good. I can't to create my travel vlog. You did an awesome job. You got me very excited about doing my upcoming vlog on Tanzania. Thank you so much.
Nice job sir, I appreciate all your hard work and effort to deliver this amazing tutorial which was easy to follow and to understand. I have enjoyed every minute of this video and I am planning to return to it many times later. You have mentioned that the editing can be done completely on the phone, I believe it is going to be a great part 2 for this video.
Thanks you so much! Yes it can definitely be done on a phone but always keep in mind that mobile apps have their limitation. Maybe there will be a part 2 ;)
Brother, thank you very much! We need more videos like this. Hope you will upload more of these in the future. Especially, it would be very trendy if you make mobile filmmaking videos for vertical video sizes (e.g reels, tiktok etc.). Take care brother! We look forward to the videos in the same format.
I started making geman speaking youtube videos about Tesla around 1,5 years ago. After filming with GoPro7, I bought Sony ZV-1 but recently I switched to iPhone 14 Pro! And as I see your footage, I think that I could get even more out of my existing gear! Thanks so much for this great tutorial! 👍
@@BenettGraezer so believe it or not I followed all these steps and it worked brilliantly. Minus the zooming in on the last frame and the camera shake for the boots how does one get these effects into play?
I always admire your work and creativity… would love to learn how to do this when making a saltwater reefing content, where you will be working on blue lights
Very inspiring and useful video. Love the idea of using a backpack for focus and the suction mount works really well- have to try that. There was one comment regarding Auto Exposure / Focus using the default Camera app which (since ios16 at least) I’m not sure is true anymore. If you hold focus in the usual way by holding a finger to focus, then swiping on the auto square up or down to adjust exposure a little (or use the +\- button in the sub settings), the exposure locks in place. Hope that’s useful info!
Wow! What a great video. Well scripted, great pace (not too fast), and has great audio and editing. Wish I had found this earlier (before my last two travel trips). Definitely subscribing and will be searching out your other videos.
Thumbs up, subscribed, and not just because of that awesome Padres hat. This is GREAT content and I'll be buying that Joby suction cup mount with your link--hadn't seen it until now--and using it with my Moment MagSafe. Brilliant! Anyway, excellent video ... keep these coming.
These tutorials are fantastic Benett .just one request please tell your viewers how to use the Apple Watch to frame and view the iPhone. Many of use don’t know. I did not and it took a considerable amount of research to finally get it. Just a friendly suggestion. You keep doing what your doing buddy cause we all need to learn.
very useful and practical. Thanks One question: how do you download videos filmed with iphone to your computer? I simply download via cable and when I open the video on my computer it looks ugly...no natural colors, too bright etc... the same video clip if I upload it to google drive and download from there it looks good..and especially the clips in cinematic mode. Is there any way to download the clips correctly without distorting the image?
Thanks for this video Benett. I think I have acquired most of the skills through trial and error over the last few years, but this summary is very good since there are so many elements to keep in mind. I am still learning though and there's one or two points in this video which I will take on board, like a little bit of camera shake and use a few more sound effects, as you do with the foot shots coming out the car. When it comes to driving over a camera even on my own driveway where I know there is no the traffic, I will probably use a much cheaper camera. And as for the suction pad on the outside of the car, I will probably tie a safety string around the arm and attach it to the car somehow just in case it came off. I thought your subtle use of titles was very good, because sometimes people can get a bit carried away with overelaborate lettering. As a retired signwriter, I feel I have an eye for this. Keep the content coming, and I can see your work ethic is exceptional.
Hey, appreciate the feedback! It's awesome to hear about your journey and the skills you've picked up. Totally get the caution with the camera-on-car scenes. Might feel more safe using a clamp. More content on the way - stay tuned!
