I didn't know you could do a long press and actually lock in focus and exposure. Thanks so much for this informative video! So exciting to create my own job shot today!
You are welcome!
@@BenettGraezer Hi! Did you notice a heat up on iPhone 14pro max after updating to 16.3.1? Specially when camera is even just open for 1 min also watching a few reels on IG & tiktok, never felt it on 16.2.1 or iPhone 12 Pro I used earlier. Pls advise. TIA..
How do you do that?
Great video. Thank you for the information, I’m in the process of learning all I can filmmaking with my 14ProMax and DJI Gimbal. This was perfect!❤️
You are welcome!
I love the idea using only the native camera app, that is the most trusted i’ve tried so far. Typical moment or filmic app just drain batteries faster. Im getting my gimbal for my bday next week, and i allready have the shot list in my mind. Thanks for the tips. Im considering the course offered maybe next month. Have a great day 😉
Thanks for you comment! Yes good point, those third-party apps also use more battery. That would be great, would love to see you inside 🔥
This video was great. So helpful. Thanks so much 😊
Glad it was helpful!
Hello bro, as always, I'm glad to see you again through a video, I learned some useful lessons from this video tutorial, thank you, good luck with your work, and be healthy.
Thank you so much!
Practice makes everything perfect ❤
True 👍🏻
Great video some great shots in there and well explained. Thanks
Glad you enjoyed it
Hey Benett! Very well done how-to video once again. I have the iPhone 14PM and have had Osmo Mobile gimbals in the past (I still have an old non-telescopic one). The newer gimbals have a lot of features and the gadget-guy inside me really wants one. I am just having a hard time justifying it--not because of the cost (because they're relatively inexpensive) but because I don't want to have gear laying around that I never use (like my old Osmo Mobile which sits in its box).
The built-in stabilization of the iPhone 14PM is so great already (as it was on my 13PM) and I feel like most of your shots could just be done handheld or with a short mono/tripod. For example, your low shot with the leaves on the walkway could have been also done with an upside-down monopod and probably been more stable (less lateral swerving) because you don't have to also worry about the gimbal. When you moved in to the leaf on the rail, again, I think a handheld shot would have been even more stable (less movement left & right) than trying to manage a gimbal along for the ride.
That's one of the things I struggled with in the past with gimbals... while it helps with stabilization (walking, running, or high shots) it also ruined the more basic shot where there was very little movement. Like when you did the orbit around the leaf of that tree around 13 mins in, you could have just of easily done it handheld with the same result... if not better. And your static shot with the back of your head--well, only a tripod required of course.
I'm still trying to be convinced I *need* this product and so far all I've seen are TH-camrs using it as a glorified tripod or monopod--which I already have. I'm really not trying to knock your video because it's well done and I love your tutorials when it comes to how to get shots and tell a story. I just don't think this needed to be done with a gimbal--at all. Maybe I'm wrong?
Sorry for the long comment :) Keep up the great work and I look forward to more!
I believe if you need to create longer-moving shots and do something more dynamic, a gimbal can certainly be helpful. A big advantage is that it keeps your horizon leveled, this way you can focus on the more important stuff. I agree that most shots can also be done handheld or with a tripod. I guess with the OM6 you have a little bit of both worlds. It can give you a stable platform in a fixed location but also use it while moving to create stable-looking footage.
Buy it, try the same shots with the monopod you speak of and the gimble and see the difference. You 'can' get similar shots but they will never be as smooth. He didn't highlight this element but for anyone, anyone vlogging, especially while on any for of transport, a monopod could never produce the footage a gimble could. These landscape videos are just an easy quick way to showcase the product but most people who will use these are on the move, sports, skateboarding, rollerskating, driving shots, amateur car videos, travel vlogs, tours etc.
You seem to be commenting through a prism of your own use case scenario and experience and not a general, layperson interested in filming or getting started in filming.
Idk if you bought one yet or not, but I also had an earlier version of the Osmo (OM2), and hardly used it. I realized the reason I wasn’t using it was because of how much of a hassle it was to place and balance and everything. I haven’t had that problem with this gimbal (sooo easy), so I end up using it a lot more
I sell the gear i dont use to buy new one. it feels good do it
Nice tips.... Didn't know about the focus lock... thx
Happy to help!

Nice video!!! How you applied a color grading? Is there some application by gimbol? Thanks in advance for your answer.
No I apply it in the editing program, you can use final cut pro, vn app or luma fusion to apply these LUTs (color presets).
Thank you 🙏🏻
You are very welcome!
Such helpful video and very informative, can you also give us tutorial on how did you make the filter or color grading ? Thank you so much in advance ❤

Here in Switerland
Thank you😊
You are welcome!
What mode did you use on the gimbal?
thank you bro
You're welcome!
Hi Bentte! Do you use luts?
Great video. I currently use an iPhone 13 with my OM6 and it’s great. A colleague has issues filming in wide angle on his 14 Pro - you can see the gimbal arm. Any tips to get round this?
Thx! It’s best to slide the camera until The motor isn’t visible and if its too unbalanced use counterweights.
@@BenettGraezer brilliant - I will let him know and I will upgrade my 13 when the time comes!
Hey, I just found your Channel and I love your Videos! I got my Gimbal a few weeks ago and after I checked out the basics, your videos are perfect to learn how to create nice Videos. I just wonder, how you connected the Gimbal App with your Apple watch. Did you film this Scene with the Mimo App or just with the normal camera App on your IPhone? Thanks for your Videos and best greetings from northern Germany :)
Thanks a lot! No i just filmed it with the standard camera app, that is how I was able to connect it to my apple watch :)
Hy Dude very nice 💪🏻👌🏻 my question
How do you edit and which adjust settings have used by the video? Greeting you
Thanks a lot, I edit it in Final Cut Pro
Great! Please shoot more vertical examples.
Thanks!

Hello, your videos are the best thank you very much, i would like to ask you how you put the filter like a film (i loved that) really i just purchased my gimbal dji osmo 6.
Can you please tell me how to make my videos like cinema film
I used one of my mobile LUTs to create the cinematic look. Check out my recent tutorial on color grading :)
Very very good
Thank you!
lots of love from India 🇮🇳⛳️🙏
Thanks!
I ordered from Mobile 6 Coupang. See you often in the future 👏👏🤗
Thats great have fun shooting 💯
pls tell what mode you use on when take shot?
what is the filter on the shot when you turned the gimbal upside down?
How did you put those filters on top of the original video?
which mode you use on osmo mobile 6?
Hey Benett! How you apply these luts? In Adobe premiere? And how we can buy these luts?
Hi Alex, the LUTs are available through my shop (link in the description). You can easily find tutoirals on how to apply a LUT inside Premier Pro on TH-cam :)
