I just found your channel and i must say im stuck! Love what ur posting even though i havnt had the time to watch a full video yet but love that its raw material! Usally i dont comment but you deserved it🙏 great work
Love these videos Josh, keep up the good work. I find that most detailers over rely on the Tornador, it's a great tool that has it's uses but I don't like to use it EVERYWHERE. I also find that when using Super Clean it helps to twist the nozzle on the sprayer a bit to reduce the misting action and make it a bit more like an irregular stream. Keeps my airway happy! Glad to be your newest subscriber, man, looking good!
@@amp5740 thanks for the comment! I don’t have my GoPro on hand but I do believe it’s the gopro10 with the wide angle lens. It’s an older GoPro now. I bought it a long time ago. The video quality is still pretty decent.
@@frankieups just a mild APC. I use P&S express interior cleaner. Some door jams are very dirty with grease you might have to use steam and /or a degreaser for that situation but you have to be careful when you do use a degreaser. Because degreasers can tarnish paint and plastic trim. So if do choose to use a degreaser mix it very mild and go from there. Good luck thanks for the comment.
Try it out. I use water now because I don’t like the aerosolized chemicals. But I still want to use the Tornador Mac because it cleans out crack and crevices really well. And blow out any liquid that could run down on the plastics
When I saw you cleaning those dirty jambs with APC without using your “already available” hot steam, I knew that towards the end of video, you would waste time foaming those 4 big tyres and scrubbing them. You shd have just used your big extracter steamer to shoot detergent + hot steam onto those dirty tyres..you’ll immediately see brown and grey crud coming off. Instantly rewarded with a lovely 100% clean sidewall that’ll look great with any dressing. Since its only a basic exterior wash, pls dont waste time scrubbing those big tyres. Nothing is as fast and effective as using hot steam or wiping with a strong solvent to reveal 100% bare rubber.
Thanks for the comment. You make a good point and I’ll definitely try using the steam cleaner on tires. I’ve never done that before so I’ll have to test it out. I actually retired the steam cleaner a long time ago because I personally find it too slow. I’m just using it again now because a subscriber was interested in buying the exact make and model of steam cleaner. I was just doing a personal test on how well super clean degreaser would work on cleaning dirty brown ozonated tires and well you seen the results. Not good. But it doesn’t matter how well they cleaned up. It’s a work truck and the tire shine I sprayed on cleaned them up well. It was just a basic handwash. I spend about 30 mins or less on a basic handwash
Depends on where you live honestly... If you can find a vacant lot or vacant any thing or a business plaza that's very slow but generates money but not busy or fast enough to where someone would ask you to leave then setup a pop up wash location and start detailing cars from your pop up wash... Hand out cards as you get customers and let them know you're a mobile detailer..or..... Get a website created and advertise yourself and wait...
I’ll make a video on it one day soon. I’m not detailing right now because I’m working on making the business better but in a month or so here I’m going to get back into TH-cam and detailing. I’ll be back to uploading multiple times a week. I miss it.
@@JoshJecklinDetailing facts...I keep everything on a table and still lose equipment it's crazy .. I just take everything and throw it in the front seat...
Your method is illogical. You already knew the door jambs were badly stained and dirty. And you own TWO machines that generate hot steam. It would have been logical, clever and professional to spray your APC onto those dirty jambs and sills, and then immediately blast with hot steam.
Thanks for the comment. It’s something worth thinking about but I disagree. I used to use the steam cleaner on door jams every single detail. For a long time on lots of vehicles. I retired the steam cleaner because it’s too slow. It’s soo much faster to spray on a degreaser on door jams then use the pressure washer I say this as real world detailing. I have to do what the customer asks for and pays for. This isn’t a fake TH-cam video about detailing. Now don’t get me wrong I love fake TH-cam detailing videos and I will 100% do fake detailing TH-cam videos. This exact video was real world detailing. The customer bought a premium detailing package and for me that includes certain services. Which is my medium level cleaning package. If they bought a higher level package. A “ restoration detailing package”. I would have a lot more time and a lot more budget to use the steam cleaner on areas like the door jams. Also my restorative package includes removing the seats front and rear. Plus I also price hourly. So when a customer pays for 4 hours of work. That’s all I’ll do and I’ll explain that to them before hand so they understand and everyone is happy. Of course if a detail needs an extra 30 mins ontop of 4 hours I’ll do that. Or if I finish early I’ll still put in 4 hours of work to add extra value where I can. So on a super greasy door jam like that where the customers isn’t paying for that level of cleaning I do my best and work fast and they understand that if it doesn’t look perfect that’s ok because they didn’t pay for perfection. They paid for a whole lot better and that’s what I gave them. At the end of the day this customer was happy and no matter what I would always make sure a customer was happy or it’s free. Plus I’ve been really wanting to test “super clean degreaser” as a product I want to keep on my self long term and you can see the results of that. I don’t think I want to keep super clean degreaser on my shelf long term. I’m just not seeing the results I’m happy with. It works and it’s cheap but I feel that there is still better products out there. Thanks for the comment and voicing your ideas. There important for us detailers to learn and move forward on our journey.

hmm now i want trying using my tornador with water or maybe rinseless wash 256-1 would work too.

Get the Fur EEL, hands down the best tool for pet hair
