This video had an ending but when I was exporting the video something happened and I only noticed after I uploaded to TH-cam. These 2 hour long videos take up to and over 24hours to export so I don't think I'll re-export this video again. I'm already working on the next one 😂

If you upgrade to a chief steamer 100 you won’t have the wetness issues and it will actually speed you up. It’s expensive, but it is the best steamer on the market.

I think you could save time by not scrubbing the weather tech mats so much. I hit them with a degreaser, dwell, hit it with a brush, rinse, let dry. They always look great. Especially with a well diluted wipe down with hyperdressing at the end of the detail.

For sure I hear you loud and clear. I’ve been thinking about just using dwell time and the roto pressure washer tip then a heavy blast with the hyperdressing because people just step on the floor mats anyway. But I’m just trying to build my name up around town right now for super high quality and not having any complaints.
Thanks for the tip. It’s a learning journey for me still! I’m constantly changing my techniques to improve quality and speed.

@@JoshJecklinDetailing you have great techniques and tools! The time I save on mats I give back since I don’t have a tornador. Lol!

Good stuff, I can't get enough detailing videos for some reason.
    Now I'm gonna armchair detail.
No such thing as a "2 Hour Express Detail." I expect 30 minutes max for anything with the word "express" in the title.
"Only water in the Tornador." Me: Yessss! Later... Paint sprayer and chemicals. Me: Nooooo! lol
There's a way to do both cleaning and dressing in one step. Optimum No Rinse (ONR) and Optimum Protectant Plus in a bucket. ONR is 256:1 so 4 ml per Liter. Do up like 4 L and mix in 80 ml of Protectant Plus. Throw in some towels.
Pull out a towel, wring out so it's damp not dripping. Cleaning the surface and applying the dressing together will save tons of time. Allow to air dry. Wipe off any excess from clear parts and glass. Used towels never go back in the bucket so the solution is always clean. Could end up doing two or three cars with 80 ml of dressing.
Aerosol glass cleaner. Me: Nooooo! If you don't do anything else, use ONR as your glass cleaner. It's the cheapest you'll find. Dunk a microfiber in ONR, wring out until nearly dry, apply to glass. Buff glass with two microfiber towels for a streak free finish.
Anywho, keep up the good work! I'm enjoying it and I'm sure your customers love their clean cars!

Thanks for the comment and all the tips. I’m aware of some of the stuff you mentioned. I just haven’t put it into practice.

Love the idea bro but 2 hours is very tough if you’re by yourself. I myself wouldn’t offer that service cause it puts too much pressure on yourself cause the customer probably expects a miracle. You do an amazing job though so don’t beat yourself up too much

Thanks for the comment and liking the work!
When I made my packages and prices the express package I offer is supposed to be for cleaner cars. It’s not a maintenance detail but it’s not ment for a disaster.
I’m a new detailer in my town looking to build a name and clientele. So when I get a disaster and the customer only wants to spend what the express package costs. I just get it done quickly and to within a reasonable standard.
I wish this customer got the next higher package so I could do seat and carpet shampooing but they didn’t want it. So I did what they wanted 🤣

What brand are the little blue storage bins you are using? Thank you for sharing your videos.

Hey bro thanks for the comment!
I think you mean those small blue bins I keep my microfiber in?
They are from Canadian tire. They are Canadian tire brand.
      Hope that helps 🤣

Damn it Josh, we have been over this. Where is the disaster in this disaster detail? Is it in the glove box cause it's not in the rest of the car lol

I think it was a disaster. You gotta watch me clean it. It looks clean but it’s actually super dirty with lots of dogs hair, food crumbs, mud and smoke ashes.
The camera and low lighting hides the dirt.
I haven’t had anyone bring in a car full of mold because we dont have mold here. I live in a desert. I haven’t had any cars that a hoarder lived in or a drug addict. I live in a small city. Haven’t had any emergency vomit calls. I don’t know if I would touch a rat poop infested car. I’d have to suit up in a hazmat for that.
These are about the worst I get. Give or take. To someone who does real world detailing. These are less then desirable details. They’re hard to complete in a short time.
Real world detailing customers keep clean cars so for a real detail that I got paid for by a customer I don’t know in anyway. This is a disaster. I’ve done a lot worse than this but this is where a disaster starts.
If you keep a clean car I promise you, you would think this car was super dirty.
I could have cleaned it a lot faster but I still feel like I did a good job for the budget and around 2 hours. 🤣
Maybe one day in the future. I’ll source crazy bad cars full of rotten garbage and poop and clean them for free just for content.
