I've been looking into smelting and finding a way to get some gold or silver at the thrift store wasn't something I thought was possible. It'll be fun to keep my eyes out for these things next time I'm there :)

I think it really depends on how well each store screens the jewelry. Some of these thrift stores are very sophisticated and know what to look for to pull out. If you saw in the bag there was a marked 14 K bracelet of course that would make a lot of sense. Each thrift stores different, I hope that answers your question👍
@@livefree6878 Yep that’s definitely the case haha I used to buy N64 expansion packs for 50 cents and sell them for 50 bucks but now all that’s in collectible cases.

So you’d say it’s actually worth it to buy big bags of jewelry like this and look for gold? At the one by me they sell big bags for like 20 bucks
