  • Tilt the mower on its side and let the oil drain out on this type of mower. Ensure the spark plug is disconnected and gas is not in the tank; run the mower until it stops to run the gas out all the way. The vacuum is the bonus part of the video.

Don’t run the unit till the gas runs out. Just run the unit so the gas is low. I do it all the time no gas comes out of the cap if it’s just low. Just do it normally after you’ve mowed and the gas is low. Very simple

What the hell ? I thought this was a snapper oil change video. How did it morph into a dirt devil vacuum tutorial ?

You should caption the vacuum tutorial as part of the the main title. I think most people know how to use a vacuum .

My new idea for push mowers will turn on by key or switch no pulling to start them yes

why was the manufacture oil plug removed under the lawn mower deck Briggs Stratton lawnmower? Save on manufacture cost?

My guess is they want to sell more mowers. No oil change = earlier fail.

You’d be wrong when you said it can’t be too bad finding the drain bolt 😊. It’s actually ridiculous where Snapper put it. It’s under the engine and you have to remove a metal plate that guards the belt for the self-propelled mechanism to access the bolt. It’s a regular 3/8th square head bolt. Problem on mine and probably will yours is the bolt removed drains oil all over the self driving belt. So not only do you have to raise the entire lawnmower up and awkwardly access this bolt after removing a plate. You have to put a piece of tinfoil over the belt so you don’t get oil all over it. Bottom line is tipping the mower over a few times allows you to drain the oil extremely fast and easy.

They don’t have drain plug, owners manual says to tip it on side to drain out of filler tube.
Idk why it went from mower to vacuum
