This video shows you how to replace the blade (#7026407AYP) on a Snapper RP217250 lawn mower.
Recommended Tools: Socket Wrench / Torque Wrench, Safety Gloves, Blade lock tool or block of wood.
Lawn Mower Wheels keep your mower moving properly. Twigs, branches, or debris can damage your wheel leaving it cracked or broken. My dad got his hand stuck in between the blade deck and mower when the blade stop slipped and it pinched a nerve in index his finger which he can't use anymore. Word to the wise - NEVER PUT YOUR HAND ON OR INBETWEEN THE BLADE!

I am new to servicing my lawn mower. Thankfully, it is a snapper. What type of blade is this? I inherited the mower and it needs a new blade.
bet it smoked like crazy after tipping it over to its left side like tht all the oil ran towards the muffler.... you never tip it to its side always place something on the handle holding it upwards

Disconnect the spark plug wire from the spark plug to prevent an accidental start or shock. Turn the mower on its side, making sure that the air filter and the carburetor are facing up.
