Guys, for anyone, who wonders how pierce is taken on an amulet - it’s an anoint: you need to hover “pierce” nod on a skill tree, press alt and it will show which distilled mats are needed for it to be anointed
Nice build my dude, I theory crafted something very close to this before launch and I'm glad its working. One very clever thing you added into this build besides the amulet worth a mirror atm was the pierce from Anoint and Gems. That alone is SO much damage you're adding to the build and I think needs to be made clear if you do a build guide. Bravo
@@jonathanquinn5158 you can get the recipe from the passive atlas tree. SSearch for the name of the anoint (piercing shot), over it with a mouse and tap alt to display more infos In this case you need in this specific order: Disgust, Guilt, Disgust

Its not hard to make currency when you are one of the first players to T15s and could sell them for 10ex each, also as I knew what gear I needed I was the first to look for this stuff, prices change as more people become aware.
How u got so much dps on ur spark? I flw ur guide on my lvl 16 + 3 from wand but only got around 6k, is 3 levels that important? Im having eldrict batery and my gears all have pretty good es max, es increased and max mana ...
Super expensive build, but I've got a good headstart on it. I have the amulet and a pretty decent filler wand. I had to jump from T10 maps to T3 for now with this build until I can round out the gear/jewels/specs. After they nerfed my cast on freeze build, I was happy to try something new out
Thoughts on getting +30 spirit on body so that you can use Grim Remnants? It effectively would double your ES pool, so dropping a bit of ES on the chest to say 12k, you could get to 24k es after a few packs of white mobs.

Items that drop from delirium allows you to annoint extra passive on amulet. When you hover over passive skill in tree and hold inspect key you will see which distillator you need.
The build I'm running currently is meant to increase mana with eldritch battery, and take mind over matter, but also takes ES nodes. Those don't appear to be doing much. Have I been trolled? Is EB even viable? Should I just follow this build instead?
I am running EB but without MoM or CI. The idea is to stack as much Mana as possible and with Everlasting Gaze you will get decent base ES. This ES base will then be affected by ES nodes that increase the amount. EB for its own its a little complicated because we (as sorcs) dont have much defenses other than ES on the tree. The problem with EB+Everlasting Gaze is that you will also need chaos res on your gear, but you can use "suboptimal" gear for CI that has life and ES and it will still work for you :). Atm I have 1.5k life, 3.5 ES and 3.6 mana with 57%block on t10 maps (haven't played enough for more u.u)
In what order would u go in passive tree ? what nodes are must have and what nodes are a bonus, or how will the tree look like around 60-70 brackets and around 2k ES?
If you need more tank get ES nodes. (Max es and faster es). Mana regen get the mana nodes. Damage get the lightning nodes. I'd suggest getting a good balance of each as you gear.

When I enable Archmage I don't get a 3x time damage buff like you, only about 20-30%. What could be wrong? I'm level 71 though, so maybe I missed a vital passive somewhere... Got 5K ES and 1.5K mana.
Would you do Unleash instead of Controlled Destruction gem support on Spark? I understand without controlled destruction you can also annoint Lightning rod to scale crit. Wanna hear your thoughts
Question but intentions on actually getting the pierce support, stacking duration on jewels to make up for duration support, and anoint non-crit lightning is lucky? PoE1 experience points to that being a great damage gain.
It's not a bad idea, however, the emotions needed for lucky lightning are completely unavailable. I don't even see them on trade at least last night. So for now pierce seems like a good solution.
Have you considered other forms of ES sustain like Zealot’s Oath? I’m not sure if there are good enough sources of regen for it, but relying on recharge to not get interrupted doesn’t seem great
ye I tried it, and my character is bricked now totally my fault though. I knew that going it without proper gear and levels wont do good but I did it anyway.
I really love this build I gotta say. I got my build similar as you but I also got the Potent Incantation node. I'm not sure if that is good because it also gives -5% cast speed.
@levivass idk what is lance's setup so cant help you, I play mom and EB and feels great. Only thing that i feel is lacking around t10 maps are resists. I have around 40% of each ele resist, 3200 mana and sometimes I get 1 shoted from some random ass shit. But often I survive, can back up for few seconds and back to full mana.
hello realy cool guide, i would suggest you try fork with spark it's relay strong (especially with the unique ring that allow fork without downside) thanks for the overview ! Also rising tempest work, it proc out of spark once aswell has any other spell (even lightning one, it would also proc out of tempest caller)
Hi guys, i just finished the campaign and started maps but i feel like my damage is pretty low. Tooltip on spark says 2k6. I followed the build, kinda same gear, same talents tree. I have 5k6 es, 1k7 mana. But it takes me 5min to clear tier 1 map. Sometimes rare takes me 20sec+ to kill. Is that normal ? i feel like i should do double the dmg i do right now. Maybe i missed the part on how to scale my damage. My weapon is only +3, spell dmg and 15% cast speed. But got 20 cast speed on shield and 23 on ring. My spark is a 5L. Im lost :D If anyone can help.
Cast Speed, increased Spell/Lightning Damage, high mana because Archmage (Ascendency)/Lighning Node scales with Mana and additional Damage as Cold/Fire/Lighting on your items. To be fair, Squishy has a bunch of really really good items.
Any way u do a "budget version" of the build ? I reroll yesterday all m'y gear so i'm poor now and I can barely clear t4, not running ci for now cause of my gear Who is still with life node
What are your thoughts on grabbing Dreamcatcher near Eldritch Battery? It would give you 155% increased ES from your Focus, which has 200 ES, which means you'd get another 310 flat ES which then gets scaled by your %ES which at 400% would be another 1550 ES for 4 points
Do you see any point in going EB+MOM. i think with that amulet, it wil give you ES based on your max mana, not sure if its bugged but it still gives you energy shield even with EB i heard. not sure how much ES you will end up with, but youll have a shit ton more mana i think

you can use Strip away for 30% more exposure on orb of storms

but mana tempest gives chain to spark and you cannot chain when you peirce? is it worth it?
pierce is a must on map with doors because it will pass thought the mobs and bounce inside the room

Noob here what is the "ALLOCATES PIERCING SHOT" ??? have the Amulet but it doesn't have that on it.

Yeah, same issue here at 71. I can't scale spark in a meaningful way and due to that, the build simply doesn't work.
I think cast speed is the most important thing, look how many casts you can do per second.

how u get this 50% pierce in tree? You dont have any channel to pick it.
he uses 3 jewels in passive tree with pierce on them totaling 50% and anoints his amulet using distilled emotions for the other 50%

I think it's a decent alternative I'd you prefer the gameplay. I think this version can take a bigger one shot though.

if you get faster start of recharge high enough its great no need for ZO.

Just use two rare rings the same as my right one. Use the freeze charm and get energy shield stun nodes on tree.

can you try to do a budget guide? unique amulet expensive, and ring basically impossible to get.
Just get energy shield % and mana rare amulet
And just get 2 rare rings and use freeze charm + ES stun nodes on passive tree
