A few things I forgot: - When buying widowhail make sure it's 3 socket so you can socket in +15 spirit x3 or you'll struggle to get enough to have blink + archmage + cast on shock - You can drop clarity if you are struggling with spirit - When buying widowhail 250% quiver effect is a breakpoint granting +7 projectile skills compared to +6 at 249% so watch out - I tried to keep some of my old gear I had from starting this character to make it a more fair showcase. That gear is what you are seeing for the breach and first boss showcase, the clip at the end with the breachlord is a gameplay clip using half new half old gear so is less relatable. - When going for chase items: - Ingenuity: This belt is only good if your rings are already good otherwise a rare belt can even beat it so make sure your rings are good before dropping an absurd amount on it - Dream Fragments: Insane ring but make sure you can res cap after putting it on, some people with this ring end up boned on res, something to look out for. - On atleast one jewel try to get 2% mana on kill it makes a world of difference to your survivability in maps, specifically breach I can't recommend it enough. - On non-map bosses like pinnacles/ubers you can trade your bow weapon swap for a Sigil of Power staff weapon swap for even more damage. @tmnumber1 agree, they threw it together at the last minute because they knew people would blow thru the campaign and they wanted there to be at least something there to do afterwards, even if its far from being finished . I think the game will be amazing tho by the time we hit the first league
before the giga cast on nerfs i was doing this with 2x 66% shocks with a shock consume loop to proc conduit about twice per second, hitting 2640% more damage. literally wiping everything in t16s instantaneously. it was glorious. im sad its gone.
Uff that looks juicy..... Im thinking to slap on a original sin and try this with poison prolif for clear so only the strongest dot spreads from the orbital cannon for breaches😊
Put Blink on just one weapon swap and you can fit in Elemental Invocation on the other with Comet + Spell Echo + Capacitor. Completely removes the need to even use the bossing setup in mapping since it gives an instant cast of ~10 comets so long as you've killed some stuff.

Lightning pen can't go under 0 but reducing ennemies res still work. Woundnt be worth to go conductivity (around -50% wo investment) + exposure (shitton with tree + ascendendy) and forget about pen ?
Playing AM/EB/CI/MOM since the beginning and I can say that getting 2% mana restore on kill on jewels is a gamechanger for breach/ritual - would swap them for bossing

Could you please explain why you say that this builds generates double the energy for Cast on Shock on every mob? You mentioned, it gets 40, instead of 20 on uniques. Is it to do with Ascendancy and double shock node?

i don't see reason why it would get nuked, what happened b4 they nerfed builds tht were blasting everything on a shoestring w/o any investment. now u need to hit certain breakpoints for it to actually work.
so technically you could stack equipped focus boosting jewels that have shock magnitude and whatnot else u need and just have some giga mana from that es focus with eb
They had gutted cast on so much I was wondering if it had any actual use since spirit is also a premium resource. But this would be it. This is using a skill that works better on targets that are shocked by reacting to shock
cast on was only gutted for clear. It was buffed for bossing, you generate twice the amount of energy now. But when 99% of the game is clearing trash mobs trying to find rares, it's not usable as a main clearing setup.
The support gem Considered Casting has been changed in the latest patchnotes. Patchnotes say: The Considered Casting Support now only supports Spells you cast yourself. It also now grants 40% more Spell Damage (from 25%) and 15% less Cast Speed (from 10%). So, it means that it cant be used in our Cast on Chock/Lightning Conduit setup. Any suggestions what will be the best replacement gem? Edit: It seems the tooltip damage still increases when equipping the Considered Casting gem. I wonder if it actually does work or if it doesn´t work... As we dont use it in a spell we cast manually ourself, it shouldn´t work if i understand the patch notes correctly. It´s kind of hard to test as the damage will just be somewhat lower if it doesnt work and one cant find some target that will have the same HP in a repeated test over and over. Any idea´s if this support gem will work for us now?
Why you choose inspiration as the last gem in the cast on chock (Lightning conduit) skill? The gem Energy Retention seem a much better choice, making the lightning conduit strike much more often. Or are you having mana problems?
For those of you trying this build, its only really viable at extreme high investment end game. You will constantly die in t15 maps. Unless you have absolutely busted gear and level 90+
Is spark better for shock than ball lightning/lighting warp? Doesnt the shocked ground from LW auto-apply double shock at maxed magnitude to trigger lightning conduit? Also why not spell echo on LC since you have 2 shocks?
no idea about lighting warp but ball lightning has complete dogshit damage and clearspeed. It's only purpose is to apply shock and sure it can shock more than spark can but it cannot clear maps. So you still need spark, and at that point just apply the shock with spark instead. If you really want to you can play a several button build but most of us PoE1 players try to avoid that and limit the playstyle to 1 button. No good build right now alternates between damage skills, you only have 1 damage skill you spam nonstop and some utility setups. No ball lightning for shock and spark for clear, its only spark for both.
Did some testing on Doriyani with a low level projectile going through the fire wall and it only added about 1k dmg on hit going through the flame, definitely not worth the trouble setting up unless theres something im missing. Its not getting the bonus from Archmage on the projectiles
interesting build idea but I really don't see how this compares against just going CI with spark. You are sacrificing all stun and freeze protection, sacrificing 10k eHP (pure CI builds can go way past 10k ES), and the single target damage actually seems worse than what sparkers are doing especially since you can't really use mana tempest on a MoM build because if you get stunned while inside it and you drain all your mana you die. And mana tempest is massive damage. But it is nice to see that the "cast on" skills have some utility. Rather than use weak skill to proc it to clear mobs, you use a strong skill to clear mobs and the cast on only activates vs rares/uniques to nuke them further. It's a different synergy than we are used to but it obviously works in this build atleast
You dont need Mana Tempest since you just one shot any boss in the game anyway. The reason this build is so good Single Target is because of the more multiplier on Lightning Conduit (100% more damage within hits per 5% Shock Effect on Enemy). With my current setup i am above 90% Shock magnitude. The amount of damage that spell does is crazy. You dont need to stand in any zone or setup anything on the boss. Just hold rightclick and win.
Do you get the spirit from your bow while you have your wand/Focus in your hand so cast on shock is active while you use your wand/Focus? As a noob i dont get it 😅
I didn't even know you could cast spells from bows (I mean I knew you could in PoE1), but at least on my Ranger it obligates me to swap to a wand before casting Orb of Storms.

how much shock chance do i need ? in the sheet it dosnt tell me how much % i have to shock ? i got some shock and some "% increased chance to infect aliemnts" witch should be %to shock too and i just realized my orb of storms dosnt even shock ??? it dosnt even shock white mobs ? shouldent it shock alot ? with like 100%chance to shock on the tree&gems and 50%inc chance for aliments ?? im confused.
2% mana recovered per enemy killed is BIS mod imo on jewel for this setup, feels amazing to instant recover 400+ mana per kill when you get multiple socketed
You could in theory go for a breakpoint every 2 shocks but I think the damage loss or QoL loss from the other options is pretty large. Maybe give it a go and see how it feels
just to by the soul cores to put in the weapon is like 400 plus ex lol that is not even counting the 3 socket widowhail. It also feels really bad putting 400 ex into one that is not 250 as well...

When holding shift on EB, not all my ES seems to be converting to mana. Do you know if this is due to es% (on gear?) not being calculated for the conversion?

Honestly have thought about this a lot and came to this conclusion: Combine the leech + first node. Reduce mana cost by 50% (why the hell am I getting a net negative on my first point?) and then blood mage is fine. This way you’ll be able to get both dps points and get the progenesis ascendancy point to be an actual viable build. Atleast imo that would be good
@@Smoothcarries i agree Combining the leech and first node might be a little bit too valuable considering u can get it with like lv 25 But on the other hand if you go for the Leech Node after, you consume 4 Ascended skillpoints for basically ripping your own arm off and then putting a bandade on it again
why would u not take the nodes where ci is on top of all that ? 24%more energy gain 12%spelldamage for proc spells and 25%chance to refund half the cost even if u have some jewels ? isnt that just even more procs and even more damage ?? also why not use ball lightning with +2 proc and wildshards ? it has lile 750%inceased chance to shock or somehting that should be way better than spark ?
You can you just cant do CI and it will overall be alot worse bc youd need to drop affixes this build uses for life rolls and chaos res rolls as well as not having the arcane surge scaling

Put Blink on just one weapon swap and you can fit in Elemental Invocation on the other with Comet + Spell Echo + Capacitor. Completely removes the need to even use the bossing setup in mapping since it gives an instant cast of ~10 comets so long as you've killed some stuff.

Lightning pen can't go under 0 but reducing ennemies res still work. Woundnt be worth to go conductivity (around -50% wo investment) + exposure (shitton with tree + ascendendy) and forget about pen ?
Playing AM/EB/CI/MOM since the beginning and I can say that getting 2% mana restore on kill on jewels is a gamechanger for breach/ritual - would swap them for bossing

Could you please explain why you say that this builds generates double the energy for Cast on Shock on every mob? You mentioned, it gets 40, instead of 20 on uniques. Is it to do with Ascendancy and double shock node?

They had gutted cast on so much I was wondering if it had any actual use since spirit is also a premium resource. But this would be it. This is using a skill that works better on targets that are shocked by reacting to shock
cast on was only gutted for clear. It was buffed for bossing, you generate twice the amount of energy now. But when 99% of the game is clearing trash mobs trying to find rares, it's not usable as a main clearing setup.
The support gem Considered Casting has been changed in the latest patchnotes.
Patchnotes say:
The Considered Casting Support now only supports Spells you cast yourself.
It also now grants 40% more Spell Damage (from 25%) and 15% less Cast Speed (from 10%).
So, it means that it cant be used in our Cast on Chock/Lightning Conduit setup.
Any suggestions what will be the best replacement gem?

It seems the tooltip damage still increases when equipping the Considered Casting gem.
I wonder if it actually does work or if it doesn´t work...
As we dont use it in a spell we cast manually ourself, it shouldn´t work if i understand the patch notes correctly.
It´s kind of hard to test as the damage will just be somewhat lower if it doesnt work and one cant find some target that will have the same HP in a repeated test over and over.

The gem Energy Retention seem a much better choice, making the lightning conduit strike much more often.
Or are you having mana problems?

On pinnacle or other Endgame Boss it's procced too fast to keep up mana.
For those of you trying this build, its only really viable at extreme high investment end game. You will constantly die in t15 maps. Unless you have absolutely busted gear and level 90+
He needs more mana for sure or mana recouped as well
Is spark better for shock than ball lightning/lighting warp? Doesnt the shocked ground from LW auto-apply double shock at maxed magnitude to trigger lightning conduit? Also why not spell echo on LC since you have 2 shocks?
no idea about lighting warp but ball lightning has complete dogshit damage and clearspeed. It's only purpose is to apply shock and sure it can shock more than spark can but it cannot clear maps. So you still need spark, and at that point just apply the shock with spark instead. If you really want to you can play a several button build but most of us PoE1 players try to avoid that and limit the playstyle to 1 button. No good build right now alternates between damage skills, you only have 1 damage skill you spam nonstop and some utility setups. No ball lightning for shock and spark for clear, its only spark for both.
Did some testing on Doriyani with a low level projectile going through the fire wall and it only added about 1k dmg on hit going through the flame, definitely not worth the trouble setting up unless theres something im missing. Its not getting the bonus from Archmage on the projectiles
interesting build idea but I really don't see how this compares against just going CI with spark. You are sacrificing all stun and freeze protection, sacrificing 10k eHP (pure CI builds can go way past 10k ES), and the single target damage actually seems worse than what sparkers are doing especially since you can't really use mana tempest on a MoM build because if you get stunned while inside it and you drain all your mana you die. And mana tempest is massive damage.
But it is nice to see that the "cast on" skills have some utility. Rather than use weak skill to proc it to clear mobs, you use a strong skill to clear mobs and the cast on only activates vs rares/uniques to nuke them further. It's a different synergy than we are used to but it obviously works in this build atleast
10k es isnt 10kehp, those are completely different things.
You dont need Mana Tempest since you just one shot any boss in the game anyway. The reason this build is so good Single Target is because of the more multiplier on Lightning Conduit (100% more damage within hits per 5% Shock Effect on Enemy). With my current setup i am above 90% Shock magnitude. The amount of damage that spell does is crazy. You dont need to stand in any zone or setup anything on the boss. Just hold rightclick and win.

I didn't even know you could cast spells from bows (I mean I knew you could in PoE1), but at least on my Ranger it obligates me to swap to a wand before casting Orb of Storms.
I'm not keeping up my leveling speed with GGG nerfs so I treat all those builds from various creators as a sweet novelty

Why is the max energy for your Cast on Shock 300? Shouldnt it be 200 since Lightning Conduit base cast time is 1+1
I don't know why but the best spells all have larger energy costs than they should, probably some kind of baked in hidden penalty for balancing.
Post-nerfed both Comet and Lightning Conduit is 300 energy sadly.
I was hoping to learn a way to get stun and freeze resist when going MoM+CI but I guess you just counter it with more damage :/
You can get an anoint that gives you 2 charm slots, then use anti stun and anti freeze charm

% ES nodes on the tree don’t work for ES the only ES that gets converted is the flat ES on the Gear

2% mana recovered per enemy killed is BIS mod imo on jewel for this setup, feels amazing to instant recover 400+ mana per kill when you get multiple socketed

How good is the one handed mace that doubles your energy gain? probably not as good as +X to levels of spells right?
You could in theory go for a breakpoint every 2 shocks but I think the damage loss or QoL loss from the other options is pretty large. Maybe give it a go and see how it feels
just to by the soul cores to put in the weapon is like 400 plus ex lol that is not even counting the 3 socket widowhail. It also feels really bad putting 400 ex into one that is not 250 as well...

When holding shift on EB, not all my ES seems to be converting to mana. Do you know if this is due to es% (on gear?) not being calculated for the conversion?
The only thing that is included in EB is the final energy shield number listed on the item. Any increases from the tree do not apply.

Honestly have thought about this a lot and came to this conclusion: Combine the leech + first node. Reduce mana cost by 50% (why the hell am I getting a net negative on my first point?) and then blood mage is fine. This way you’ll be able to get both dps points and get the progenesis ascendancy point to be an actual viable build. Atleast imo that would be good

Combining the leech and first node might be a little bit too valuable considering u can get it with like lv 25
But on the other hand if you go for the Leech Node after, you consume 4 Ascended skillpoints for basically ripping your own arm off and then putting a bandade on it again
why would u not take the nodes where ci is on top of all that ? 24%more energy gain 12%spelldamage for proc spells and 25%chance to refund half the cost even if u have some jewels ?
isnt that just even more procs and even more damage ?? also why not use ball lightning with +2 proc and wildshards ? it has lile 750%inceased chance to shock or somehting that should be way better than spark ?

Very good amulet, but I personally don't wanna click ES node or lose my amulet slot. Good option though for those who enjoy it.

I feel vindicated. I had to stop playing because my PC is a potato and kept crashing while playing PoE2 but this is basically what I was building.

You can you just cant do CI and it will overall be alot worse bc youd need to drop affixes this build uses for life rolls and chaos res rolls as well as not having the arcane surge scaling
maybe everlasting amulet would be good to get some of that Energy shield back from your manapool basicly free 3k+ ES
