Does the aux cord need to be plugged in to connect? I have my phone plugged in the aux inside the armrest/console and it shows as REAR connected. My phone is connected or paired but I cannot play the music off TH-cam or other apps. Do you know how to fix this? Thank you

Unfortunately you can’t play music off the phone via Bluetooth, It’s only for phone calls.

Hello! This is only if you have a 2007-2013 Cadillac Escalade, Chevy Tahoe, etc. Open up the arm rest compartment and if you see a USB port, grab your phone charger and plug it in aswell with your phone and play some music :). It must stay connected sorry.

Unfortunately it’s for phone calls only. If you want to listen to music you have to use an AUX cable.
