Thanks for a wonderfully easy and pretty pattern. I love knitting and am learning crochet from your tutorials. I have have arthritis so it goes slowly but I am enjoying it. 💚💚💚
I'm like you, I'm good with knit and awkward with purls. That's why I'm not such a good knitter and stick with crochet! Thanks for this tutorial. I'm going to give it a go.
Hello there👋. Thank you for this. Tis been ages since I last tried to knit but am trying this out using 'I love this Yarn brand' in Smokey colour way. It is variegated. Will show how far soon.., God Bless
Thank you! I Love this, I have tried to knit but was bad at it, please do you have more tutorials for knitting! Thanks in Advance!💕 I Love your tutorials!💓😍
I am a die hard knitter but also am experienced crocheter. Knit waffle stitch is ok,,,, but I love love love your crocheted waffle stitch!! I am going to make your waffle stitch hat and a scarf of that stitch. Was thinking of figuring out a pattern for mittens in a crochet waffle stitch. Do you have something like that? If so would love to see it! Keep on stitchin and of course vidioin!!
Suggestion: knit a 5-6” swatch - in pattern, wash & dry, measure to get your stitches/inch, figure out the width you want for your blanket, multiply by your stitches/in. Example: Swatch is 16 stitches over 4 inches = 4 stitches per inch. You want a 40” blanket, 40x4=160 stitches for your cast on.
Thanks for this knitting tutorial. I'm trying to improve my knitting. I hold my needles and yarn similar to you but am struggling with uneven stitches due to a lack of tension. Your stitches always look neat and uniform. How are you creating tension with your knitting style?
Thank you as always, Laurel! I tend to have a death grip so I usually use hooks/needles bigger than recommended, that and tons of practice and even more frogging, lol
@@FiberSpider Thanks :-) I hadn't considered using a bigger needle but I tried smaller and that didn't help. I've got the frogging down...haha...I'll work on the practicing. Thanks for the advice and encouragement!
I like that knitted! I had begun the crocheted waffle stitch hat from your tutorial a few days ago but think I may make the hat & scarf I was intending by knitting instead of crocheting since I like the knitted look better.
Karen Braxton agreed! I love the idea of the waffle stitch but personally I think the crochet version can be a bit too thick or clunky in comparison to the knit version IMO 🙂
@@masuganut2082 That is just what I was thinking. I will go ahead with the crocheted version but will use a thinner yarn for it than the #4 that I was using...this knitted version will do much better for the yarn I was wanting to use for this gift. So many options!!
Karen Braxton that’s awesome!!! Yay! I really love that I can knit and crochet too, being able to do both really opens up options. 😄😄 I’m sure the gift will be beautiful and happily received!! ❤️
@@masuganut2082 it is fun to be able to do both. I'm basically self taught but these tutorials are so empowering because I can see & know I've been doing things right after a lot of frogging over the years when I didn't start out that way. But with decades of experience at this point, I continue to pick up valuable tips from these videos all along the way..which is what keeps me coming back improving my technique & the scope of what I make...always getting better at it!
Karen Braxton sounds like you should have your own channel ❤️😄 my mother knits and crochets and I’m always going to her for advice and tips. What’s nice is that she also goes to me sometimes because she knows I obsessively look stuff up to educate myself 🙂 I feel it’s quite empowering to be able to take a hook or needles or whatever the tool may be and make something completely one of a kind❤️❤️
Sarah Hefner-Hayes stick with him and you will be knitting in no time And remind yourself to cut yourself some slack. I tried and failed for about fifteen years. Then got really determined and binge watched like crazy any video I could and now I’ve been knitting nearly two years and I love it ❤️❤️
I love waffle fabrics! I'm going to go check out the crochet pattern now. BTW, my mom says to try to eat a snack before you work and it can help with the hands shaking.
You may want to learn to knit Continental or combined knitting; faster, easier in many respects, and ergonomic. Should be an easy transition for you, since you're such a mad crocheter!
Finally a knitting tutorial!
I love knitting this stitch and making dishcloths. Thank you for your wonderful tutorials.
A beautiful stitch. The stitches are close, not holey. You always have great stitch patterns. Also, explain the instructions very well.👍🏼👏🏼🧶
Thank you Craig🙏💝💗👌
Awesome tutorial
I love this pattern because it is simple and looks good on both sides. Thanks for sharing. Merry Christmas.
Oh I just love that stitch pattern. Thanks! I think I will make a scarf for my grand daughter. Looks easy and very effective.

Don't knit. Is there a way I only get your Crocheting uTube? Also the sample seemed to be different colors or is it how the light hits the yarn?
