And thanks to the handy kerosene tank and open combustion engine, you can eliminate all of your paperwork with the same efficiency with which you eliminated your fingers, as well as your office and employment status
It's a small stirling engine. It's not going to remove fingers, I have build enough stirling engines to know how little power they have. Seomething like thise might get 25-50W on a good day. What will happen if you put your finger between it is a slight bump, almost entirely dependent on the inertia of the propellor, and that's it. Also, not kerosene, but lighter fluid.
I'm 29 and I've never once touched, researched, or even considered caring about engine construction but you have changed my mind after only 3 TH-cam short. bravo!

FYI, this was the very engine that set the world speed record by RC prop-driven model airplane this year. It went so fast that the model aircraft disintegrated right at the end of the speed run.
That is definitely inaccurate after being pretty sure you were wrong based on the fact sterling engines don’t generally have a good power to weight ratio I spent like an hour googling and doing research just to find that you can’t even find any record of someone building an rc prop driven plane with a sterling motor let alone getting a speed record with it however someone got a speed record with an rc plane that had no motor this year aka rc glider and someone got a record for fastest rc jet….but until you give me some sort of evidence I’m going to assume you are just mistaken on what you are seeing in this video

interesting, it seems there's a decent temperature differential between the top half and the bottom half of the cylinders, only the top ones seem to get red hot, I wonder if you would see that if the axis of the engine is square to the plane of the table
Reminds me of that scene in Ghibli's Porco Rosso when Piccolo ripped the roof off with his seaplane engine test. Except, yknow, less roof tearing. Still cool though.
I love seeing little model engines. I made a little Lego engine and just now I made its little brother (a smaller engine) both completely out of Lego, I love seeing engines just work
Next creation request.. make a mini bread lofted generator out of one of these. tbh, i think there is a small market for small gennies like that. Camping and emergency power, something that runs on propane for long term fuel.
