Red/Purple Imperial is darn fun but it is definitely too slow. It gets its setup going by hard playing rookies, which ends up passing turn and you then lose them too easily being only 1000 DP before you can properly pop off. The BT16 dual-Tamer is something I'm trying to test with, or maybe promo Ken. As others have suggested BT16 Fighter ACE is a good tech to run as well. My current deck profile has BT8 Yolei, BT1 Tai, and Fire Rocket as well. Somewhat unorthodox but can help get the job done.
We will probably get a new blackimperialdramon due to apparently it has something to do with liberator
BT8 Yolei was always a fav and fire rocket is also interesting 🤔 but yeah I’m also thinking the fighter mode ace is probably just the better top end
idk if you pointed this out but bt16 worm can evo over red/blue eggs and over a minomon so the demimera is a bit awkward with it
yeah in my experience you just always want it for the on play/start of main

I really REALLY like this deck right now in our meta. Magna can be a problem, but i started running heavens judgement and 2 of the b/g fighter mode ace. Also, I cut the analogs..i know they seem perfect for the deck, but id rather hard drop a rookie for a smiliar effect. Plus, having it get sent to trash is a good thing. The new wormmon, promo shade, and dinobee combo is cracked. Running bt16 exvee makes you want to play it as a stack deck, but its not, really.
I’m glad to hear that you are playtesting with different cards man because yeah, the deck needs a lot of help. Lots of weaknesses to try and mitigate. Heaven’s judgment is something I’m sure no one is expecting in RP imperial lol
I,m happy with the Purple Imperial right now i think. obviously, is not a Tier 1 but you have a lot of possibilties. SR dinobee allows so much agression, Shadramon promo is insane...i made two or three jogress in a turn sometimes. I recommend you the BT16 Davis and Ken, really good with the BT16 promo when Shadramon is in trash. Waiting the promo Minomon
Wormmon cant evo on demimera. Also game 2 you did full combo then used fightermode effect which stops ALL security effects so tamers shouldnt get played
I forgot about Wormmon, but I did mention Davis shouldn't have been activated
I'm excited for whatever new support r/p Imperialdramon is gonna get in the Liberator comic, but until then yeah. It needs help.
How much support is it going to get though, is that Liberator comic a full set?

@@MrJsStrategyPlays the hints we got where the fact the title page literally has blackimperialdramon fighter mode and a seperate promo for liberator that It was commanding many dragon modes and they tend to release full lines and decks of the digimon used
You don't really need anything more than the EX Rookies and BT16 Wormmon. BT16 Veemon does not help at all as it has awkward digi requirements, costs 1, and if you're lucky, you'll get that mem back once it sees a digivolution. it does not help your strategy nor look for pieces or is it an extender like BT16 Wormmon. ExVee is a nice tech however I prefer Sethmon as it's a nice removal option that can potentially pop your FM proccing its effect so u can combo off again.
Also suggest you run red eggs since Wormmon also has that awkward requirements as well. Koromon is nice to have.
You can run B/G FM as well if you don't already, they're nice for versatlity. GrandKuwagamon Ace also comes to mind but serves another purpose entirely.
Going up against B/G Imperial is quite unfortunate tbh, as you naturaly proc their DM into what's essentially a handtrap, but them misplays kinda hurt xD
nevertheless, I hope u further bring R/P Imperial content. and I'm sure you'll will, since it's getting Liberator support. 👀
But what’s the other rookie that you play then besides BT16 Veemon? The only list I saw that topped in Japan was playing 4 of the BT16 dual tamer that’s why I was trying it out. I never like seeing BT16 Wormmon in my opening hand lol
@@MrJsStrategyPlays you just go with the 12 rookie line-up, no BT16 Veemon? I mean BT16 Wormmon in the back while u do your trashing and searching with the EX3 rookies is not bad, it's actually rather ideal, also shoking your opponent to 1 is nice. BT16 Wormmon + P Shadra is what make this deck brotha. Looping to oblivion with them is nuts and they're the sole reason this deck even sees play.
Anyways I'm currently running 3 Davis & Ken I think they're fine but could be better for us. I'd ocasionaly proc its mem +1 with the B/G FM but yeah. I'm also on 4 Analog Youth and 0 Mist Mem Boost since I'm running Red Eggs. For your DNA engine, you can either go the usual route which is EX Shadra/Flamedra + Promo Shadra, then loop with BT16 Wormmon, or go BT16ExVee/Stingmon with the Option to play a body then DNA, which I haven't tried out yet and on paper looks sorta interesting since ExVee e Sting are super versatile for either getting rid of small bodies with raid or big bodies with rest+retal. The EoT DNA is where it gets tricky since you'd have to rely on their Option which is dual colored. so yeah.. sadge
Also I believe we're getting a Purple Minomon come next month, so BT16 Wormmon's digi cost won't be an issue anymore.
With a deck like Red/purple imperialdramon you GOT TO BE on top of your effects.

@@MrJsStrategyPlays you forgot your fighter mode effect to turn off tamers it hits.
I play RP Imperial however for the fighter mode i still use a mix of Bt12 and the Ace, they don't need to match color as they evo off the dragon mode name first few turns for me is playing just Analog youth/Mist Memory boost for setup, I don't run the new Davis/Ken as it does very little for the deck as it cares more for blue-green stuff. The Bt16 Wormmon into Promo Shadra for the otko play is amazing and something blue-green can't do once its behind
I think the source stripping the tamer gives you is good because the deck is so linear, that anything with battle protection gets around it. Or anything that has deletion protection. I do agree that maybe a different fighter mode is needed
Its a good deck just dont play partition dinobeemon. U need the old effects of sec +1 and "this digimon may attack unsuspend digimon" to get the complete board wipe. ExVeemon and the new veemon slows down the deck for little pay off. Your build changes the red/purple to much from a glass cannon deck. Mist mem boost and crimson blaze are all u need. Tamer is analog and Tai
Damn really? New Dinobee is super good though. I do agree you have to split it with the old ones because attacking unsuspended is still really good tbh
davis is a tamer and not a option card. He still gets his on play effects
No, it's specifically Security effects don't activate. Davis should not have been played, he should have gone straight to trash.
@@Dr.SamCarterPhDthis is true, but he said in the video option cards don’t activate, which we knew what he meant, but this is why the guy commented the difference between option and tamer cards.
RP Imperial isn't the greatest deck, but i think your list needs work - probably not an accurate representation of what the deck can do.

The only thing I really changed was adding the BT16 dual tamers, other than it’s a cookie cutter RP imperial
