The effect to gain memory after checking security trigger's even if you die it's a similar effect to koromon from bt14 and harpymon from bt16 as well.

So I've been playing this deck for a few weeks now, and I think people are seriously sleeping on bt13 biyomon and Kristy Damon. I STRONGLY recommend trying them out. It's gotten to the point where I'm thinking of removing akiho entirely. Being able to go straight into garudamon and then garudamon x for free is just too good. The garudamon x gives itself rush. It almost eliminates the need for akiho. Using these effects, I've gotten a win on turn two.

I also just use phoenixmon x and protoform. It means I always have the end of attack deletion effects. The other phoenixmons can be useful, but I've found that the deck works so much better if you focus on rushing out biyomons and going into garudamons, and I need room for them. Also, wings of love is ridiculously op. I would strongly recommend putting a third or even a fourth in the deck. I'm running three, but I'm already thinking of removing a training to put the fourth back in.

I just recently updated my list and added Kristy and that biyo you're talking about nice spice.

Playing bt13 biyo means not playing Bearmon, which I think is objectively correct in a DP dependant format. Also, you can just PLAY the garuda instead of a combo that requires a rookie, garuda, and kristy on board.

@captingamer29 thank you for proving my point. I find it hard to believe you tried it out if you think the combo is hard to pull off. I have been able to do the combo three times in a single turn with how easy it is to play tamers. You also must forget that doing the bt13 biyomon combo results in an additional draw, which goes a long way. Personally, I see the bearmon as a completely wasted lvl 3 in the deck. The additional dp is useless to me, but if it works for you , hen awesome. I will stick to my bt13 biyomon , though. It is WAY faster and more consistent.

I run against magnamon, magnamon, and greymon control. The other tournament rapidmon, levaimon, and machinedramon

What changes has he made since this list, cause this seems like it cant handle stronger decks like Mirrage or Tyrant also isnt 4 crim a bit excessive? but idk

I changed quite a bit Kristy, bt 15 pheonixmon, and a few other cards but crimson blaze is a must against numemon have a lot at my locals.

The deck doesn't have draw power so it's nice to help you find pieces needed for your combos.

The list is questionable. Back to back tops sounds impressive. I’m curious how many players and what the average skill level is like for their scene. Yes crimson blaze is good but 4 seems excessive. If everyone and their mother is on numemon then maybe you could justify it. Also sora and wings of love are too good not be at least 3 of each. No protoform. No real way to handle some of the harder matchups like mirage or imperial.

This deck can't really compete mu h with mirage and imperial because they have a tendency to bottom deck and bounce digimon. That being said, every deck needs to have good counters, and I think being countered by two REALLY good decks is fair. Especially considering the deck can beat numemon and magnamon x, which are the two gatekeeper decks in the current format. I definitely agree that sora and wings of love are too strong not to put at three or even four of each.
