Yes, the jesmon gx is immune to effects so he can target it but nothing will happen to the effect and in this game you do as much of an effect as possible. But the memory gain is a separate effect then the second when DNA evolving can trigger if the condition is met
the digimon that was played with the effect is no longer on the field because it was used to DNA, the digimon after the DNA is a different digimon so there is no longer anything to return to hand

Love that you put in a bt12 fighter mode. Its so good. But i think people are sleeping on a heavens judgement in there. Always have at least 2 colours

I use 2 Lighdramon to get doble color for the DNA when you have that situation
Lighdramon is not a bad tech choice; having dual color options for DNA always does help with consistency
