I never digivolve on top of the Flamemon. It's mostly for the red/yellow duel tamer. You tuck it under from the trash, and then whatever digimon is on top is guaranteed to get you another tamer from hand on deletion. Plus it being a hybrid means I can it trash it off the new Koichi if I need too keep the other pieces in my hand

@MrJsStrategyPlays purple hybrid mostly play tamers from trash. Koichi was the one you should have grabbed and played from trash because it was the only Tamar in trash at that time. I'm still learning the deck from watching people play because I don't most the cards yet.im a hybrid player.

I just digivolve on top of the LV6 for Susanoo. As long as you have the red/yellow dual tamer in the sources, then after you play your option, your Susanoo will always be able to blitz. Still, I think Susanoo in the deck is just for fun since that and the option card are bricks

I cut out Matt Ishida and really don't miss it. Only bad thing is I can recur jack raids but that's it. But yeah I cut out the Bokos, Flamemon from BT17 is actually really good. Argo is good in the mirror lol

I tried out a build pretty close to yours and actually ended up facing the exact same player and deck (Tax Fraud/Galaxy Core Mirage) at both my locals this week pre and post taking the Matts out. Takuya and Koji flows so much better, and I actually almost took the match. It was just about adjusting my mindset to play through the Purple/Yellow Line while taking pot shots with Dusk. Gonna continue making some slight tweaks to it. I might add in 1-2x BT17 AncientGrey for some deletion and extra aggression, as well as a JetSilphymon for some recovery. I was even contemplating removing 2x Velgr for the old KaiserLeo both for Rhihimon.

Hmm that’s kind of confusing, since when I declared the attack it was with Duskmon, but yeah by the time blocking can happen, Velgr was 15k at that point. That does make sense then, that he’d lose the collision

Yes he does lose Collision since the When Attacking effects happen first then the block. So since Velgrmon has bigger DP than Lordknight, he loses Collision

since when is collision dp based? collision when you attack always apply

@@steleryuji yeah but Lordknight ACE only gives collusion to the digimon with equal or LESS DP. So if you pass LKM's dp you lose collusion. Thats the reason why his hole line in bt18 gives dp as ESS

You would need to do the "rainbow" magnagaruru deck. It takes the Black/Yellow and Purple/Yellow lines and merges them. You use few if any Duskmon.

My variant runs 4 dusk and 4 velgr, it contends but struggles to push for game. The double hit with magnas are beautiful, especially hitting with omni blitz for game

It does, it’s so toolbox-y. Like you mentioned throwing Loogamon in there, and someone else mentioned the Beelze package. The versatility is insane, and I agree the Rush variant is boring to play with

@MrJsStrategyPlays Not a thing my friend I've stopped playing not a fan of the direction they have been taking the game for awhile now so I've just finally retired. If I did keep playing I'd probably mess around with the Millenniummon stuff. Will say though I do miss playing the game used to have a good bit of fun playing.

@@bigchyll10 Oh dont give up. If anything, the direction theyre moving towards in block 3 is really good. Just that block 2 had a lot of design mistakes that are still around it. Once they purge some of the old decks dominating the game it should be infinitely healthier. They also have to see that none of the new decks theybve been making are doing anything so next banlist cant come soon enough

@Sudrabainsv2 Maybe I'll come back to the game idk I know I want to try the new Myotis stuff since he is one of my favorite Digimon of course. Though not sure I'm sold on anything there doing post power creep nonsense cause there's still quite a few other things I'm not liking as well.

Thanks man! Yeah what you wrote perfectly describes BeelStar Ace. I do think she's a good counter card to stuff like MagnaX (which is still a bad match up in general), but the overflow is pricey without Gundra as you also mentioned

At his current board state it was impossible for him to use the EOT effect and gain the memory back. But if that gundra was a beelstar ace with a TM option card it would have been possible. You pass the turn with two memory, you then use magnakids EOT effect detach his material to make beelstar ace attack, then you use beelstar ace attack trigger to detach a TM option card to use another one, when you use the new option card you put it under magnakid to then gain the two memory you can technically do this when passing turn with 3 or even 4 memory but you'll need hurricane screw shots for that, and this play is a lot safer when using chaos triangular. Other than that there's not really any other way to use the EOT and simultaneously gain the memory back and keep turn outside of just passing to 1 memory and detaching hurricane screw shot. Hope this helps.

​@@mylittlebroly6099 No it wasn't. He was at 3 memory. You play screw shot for 6. Tuck it and gain 2, 1 from egg and 1 from doru. Going to -1. Then EOT begins. Detach screwshot to gain +1 SA and attack. Screwshot effect gain 1 memory bringing you back to 0 and retaining turn.

@@damiancarr168 mb I wasn't paying attention to the memory I was just looking at the boardstate and I'm never used to seeing people pass musketeers more than 2 memory cause we don't have the violet in boots yet.

Looking at it again. If he has BeelstarX in hand this would actually be game. He could EOT MagnaKid for 2 checks leaving them at 1 security. Then Evo Machine into BeelstarX and tucking another Screwshot. When digi trash both options to gain memory and go back to 0 and trash top security. Then swing for game

Yeah that’s fair. Vs most meta decks, that Ace that was hard played just gets nuked itself. Turning it into a very expensive option card play vs Imperial and Blue Hybrid. I might try putting one Ace back in the deck, but I’d rather have the BeelStar X since she always closes out the game for me. I think of all the games on the channel so far, she’s always closed out my wins lol From playtesting, the Ace just hasn’t been working out for me. Not everyone agrees I know. And I LOVE BelleStarmon, so it was a hard decision to make

I think I'm also taking my beel ace down from 3 down to 2 copies because i can't lie she's won me games against megazoostyle decks like gdl and ace control Apocalymon but most of the time I'd rather put any other musketeers down I like Jay's list I personally am too paranoid to get rid of red deputy because the extra dp has come up soo many times i think I'll run 2 copies of the bt6 deputy just for that option to push and warp and sparrowmon also has done alot for me draw and memory wise and retal again came up against ace control that player was pissed lol

I found beelstar worth running at 4 simply because I want to fish options out of my trash

Also I usually have a loaded gundra because of sparrowmon

None of my friends have that deck but I’ll try to find one on DCGO unless someone play tests with on the discord lol

I’d say Gundramon with Der Blitz in sources. Fen -16k to Gundra and since it’s leaving board you can remove DB in an attempt to save it to de evo the Fen passing turn. Now this only works if there is two memory on your side to stop the OTK combo.

Both Paildra partition and the dual tamer came out in the same set, so I do think it's debatable. The BT12 memory champs weren't a problem until BT16. To be fair and not completely neuter the deck, I think it would be best to hit the dual tamer. So it's still competitive but not broken. Not to say the BT12 champs are not a problem, Imperial is the best DNA for this reason also

@@MrJsStrategyPlays it wasn't a problem because the old dna didn't do so much. They were usually aggro, not suspend everything, delete etc. If you could only dna once per turn due to memory problems i don't think it would be such a good deck. The bt12 variant you needed to get to imperial/fighter mode to do something, so it was slower. Now most don't even need to get to imperial, paildramon does the whole work.

I screamed for imperial to get hit, but everyone was just like "but he isn't topping events bro"
