Love these old homes. Last time I visited dad and family was in 2019 in Autumn. Vacation sick. I never want to leave the Coastal area. But GOD moved me and the family in the Charleston, WV area July 2001. And HE hasn't told me to move down to SC but truly love the Low Country and your videos, JOHN.
@John M Weber our Governor Jim Justice owns the Greenbriar but since being involved in politics I believe his family took over Greenbriar. Gov Justice goes home every night to his home in GREENBRIAR CO from the Capitol in Charleston, WV. When my church group went to Israel early spring 2006 we took an Amtrack from Chas to NYC. I was always falling sleep. Woke up on the tracks of Greenbriar
I’m so surprised he didn’t mention Coosaw Point development. It is owned by Mr. Forino of Forino Builders. His developments stretch all the way from Ladys Island and through Okatie, then into Bluffton. Of course into Jasper County. He is doing quite a few projects. Also there is a 6 acre development project going on Fripp Island. They have just cleared the land for that project. If you would like to interview that development company from Charleston in the future I’m sure that we could make that happen. My husband is the architect that wrote the PUD for the 6 acre project. And he and his architectural firm partner designed the entire project for the developer.
Hey John, love your videos. They helped me mark Palmetto Bluff off my list, actually. We're heading to Kiawah River on St. Johns Island. I know it's out of your area, but curious if you've ever been there? Keep up the great work!
visited for the first time this past may, of course it dumped rain the whole 4 days we were there because of a nasty tropical depression. did not deter our enjoyment and already have another visit planned for may 2024. we plan to buy here. tired of the cold in RI and tired of the poorly run blue north east.
I remember when Whitehall was private and had a wonderful restaurant. Guess the heirs sold the land. I’m glad the developers are keeping it to only 40 homes.
Thank you for watching this new video about Beaufort! It is a great spot!
I was born and raised there til our house burn in 2015. I miss it so bad. So proud to be from Beaufort . My moms still there? I’m in the Midwest Ohio.
Awesome! Thanks for watching!!
