Good stuff. On Con #3 you can add that the growth is killing off the charm of the area which is the nature of the area. How many stories have been written about cutting down Live Oaks or the damage to the Marshes? I visited last year and couldn't get over the new construction of homes and businesses. It's really sad. Hopefully there will be a slow down and a better plan for future growth. Who wants to live in a Wal-Mart parking lot?
You’re right. I know the old town area does a lot to preserve the historic charm, but many of the developments, clear, cut and build from scratch so they lack some of the historic charm. Also, I know they are very particular about cutting down oak trees now. I’m not sure if that’s always been the case.
Yes, absolutely. There is Beaufort Memorial, Coastal Carolina Hospital, Hilton Head Hospital , Memorial health in Savannah, and not too far from MUSC in Charleston. Also, several urgent care centers in town. And there are a ton of medical specialty offices as well.
I agree with you. Many of the houses look very similar within these developments. They try to change them up by having a slightly different elevation, color, and model. But overall you are absolutely 100% right.

I don’t like that so many of the developments have cookie cutter houses at such high prices. Look out your front door and see a house just like yours!
